That bosses don't have a right form opinions and make decisions because 'only god can judge'? We are talking about spiritual matters here. God does not need to form an opinion to judge. |

We are all human beings but the way the average Christian elevates a pastor to the position of a mediator is really alarming. |

mmsen: You make some good points but judgment is simply the process of forming an opinion.
Telling a person not to judge is telling them not to make an assessment, which is silly. Judgement is condemnation. For instance, telling someone that they would go to hell. That is condemnation (judgement). Only God can judge. Judgement can also be positive. But in all, only God can judge. |

timilehin007: I think it's not. ..it would seem like judging him/her..and the Bible kicked against it That means the pastor too should not correct anyone since it would amount to judging the person. Abi no be so? You people need to understand that there is a difference between correcting and judging. Judgement is for God but men can correct one another. If you can't correct those who are going astray, then you are an irresponsible Christian. Even Paul and Peter had an altercation in the Bible where Paul rebuked Peter. No one is above rebuke in the Church. We are all priests, all anointed and Christ is the Chief Priest. |

ignis: who are you to advise a man of God? Get on your knees and pray for him. If he didn't change, then it's about time you changed your church. A man of God doesn't necessarily have to be a teacher, prophet or healer. A man or woman of God is one who walks before God and is blameless. The angel that appeared to Samson's mother was called "a man of God" by Samson's mother. Now, to your ignorant statement, no one is above correction in the Church. Read this verse: Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. (Galatians 6:1) |

Blame it on pervasive ignorance on the gifts of the Holy Spirit and ministries. There should be ministries in the Church but many Christians expect a pastor to have all the ministries. They expect their pastor to be an apostle, prophet, teacher, miracle worker, healer and to be able to speak in tongue and interpret tongues. That is why every January, people wait on Oyedepo, Adeboye and other senior pastors to make prophesies. What if these men do not have the gifts of prophesies? And of course, these pastors, instead of educating these ignorant Christians, they indulge them, even if it means giving vague and ridiculous prophesies. |

phayvoursky: #3 ADRIANO
Nowadays, Adriano can be seen touting guns more often than scoring goals, but the Brazilian forward had the potential of being one of the best forwards of the 2000s. However, his instantaneous rise to fame and fortune took him down a very dark path. He came to notice when he was at Parma in Italy scoring 23 goals in 37 games in the league but developed into an elite striker only during his second stint at Inter Milan. He scored an astonishing 38 goals in 78 appearances which made Inter give him a very lucrative five-year deal. His change in fortune, though, also marked the beginning of the end for Adriano.
The Brazilian went clubbing too often, performed poorly in games and even started showing up for practice hungover. He was sent on an unpaid leave by Massimo Moratti and his contract was finally rescinded in 2009.
Adriano can now most often be seen in his favela in Rio where he hangs out with local gang members. Unfortunately for the forward, the death of his father and his unexpected riches proved to be too much for him to handle. He couldn't also manage his weight. I feel so sorry for him. Pele told him to calm down then but he was rude to Pele. He was rude to a lot of people. He felt he was the best thing to have happened to football. Little did he know that he was very wrong. |

For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.
They will turn their ears away from the truth and chase after myths. (2 Timothy 4: 3-4) |

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Ephesians 4:11-13 KJV Except if u are totally perfect... U still need these ppl in ur life.. Look at the bold part of the verses you quoted. When are you going to be mature enough in the Word? With the way you people are going, it seems like you have chosen to be a permanent bench warmer while only your pastors teach. Your pastor is all ministries rolled into one while you feel your only duty is to be spoonfed all the days of your life. Goodluck with that, though. |

Is your calling to be learners of the gospel till Christ comes? When are you going to be solid in the world and become a teacher or apostle? For how long more are you going to remain a baby Christian who must be spoonfed by a pastor? I had to feed you with milk, not with solid food, because you weren't ready for anything stronger. Moses operated in the capacity of a king as a ruler of the children of Israel, he was even responsible for judicial functions until he raised up elders to oversee smaller matters.. Tell me another prophet in d bible dat operated in dat capacity right after d office of the king was differentiated? Jesus today also operates in those three offices of prophet, priest and king Stop making up positions. There was no king. God ruled and Moses was mediator. When the sons of Israel asked for a king, God told Samuel to indulge them because they had not rejected Samuel but Him. Read this verse: And the LORD told him: "Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. (1 Samuel 8:7) |

I pray the Holy Spirit gives you understanding in Jesus name. Amen. You people should stop misinterpreting me. I never said Christians should not tithe. But you and I know how pastors emphasize Malachi, using words like "If you don't tithe, things will be tight for you?" Any pastor who collects tithes under the Law is a thief. People should willingly give because they want to and love to and not because they want double blessings or don't want things to be tight for them. |

U agree now dat Aaron was chosen to work in the highest office in the temple don't you or how more levite could he av possibly been.. The government under d law included the office of prophet, priest and king.. Only moses doubled as a prophet and king, u didn't expect him to also occupy the office of a priest do you? God gave the priesthood to Aaron in order to assist moses, so being the prophet and king, who does dat make him less a levite.. Thats where ur argument becomes baseless Moses was not a king. |

God even called Aaron a levite and u are here trying to prove to urself that he is not.. I will help ur ignorance, check Exodus 4:14 Then the Lord became angry with Moses and said, “All right! I’ll give you someone to help you. Aaron the Levite is your brother, isn’t he? He is a good speaker. In fact, Aaron is already coming to meet you, and he will be happy to see you. Exodus 4:14 ERV http://bible.com/406/exo.4.14.ERV Mr Man, please, take your time to read my posts very, very well before wasting my time like this. We all know Moses and Aaron were Levites but was Moses part of the Levites set aside to have God as an inheritance? I understand your argument. Moses was a Levite. My question is: "Was Moses part of those designed to work in the temple as the Levites would later become?) When I said Moses was not a Levite, I meant he was not included in the clans expected to receive tithes. The Bible verse you showed up there was before God specifically chose the Levites for religious purposes. Moses and Aaron were brothers but God chose Moses as mediator of the Old Testimony and Aaron as the High Priest. "And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the work for the children of Israel in the tabernacle of meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel, that there be no plague among the children of Israel when the children of Israel come near the sanctuary " (Numbers 8:19 ). |

I no know d kind Bible study wey u dey do Can Buhari do the census by himself. It was evident that Moses was not among the Levites set aside.
