The way some people reason sha. So, being footballer means u will be a good basketballer? So, Usain will be a good high jumper? Ronaldo or Messi should be a good boxer? So because u are an athlete means u should be good in indoor games. No wonder a police officer is so lazy when it comes to morning exercises. Let them set up a high jump event and see if anyone will beat him.
I think the issue is more about competitiveness.

Every hardworking athlete out there has a much higher competitive spirit than the average human. So, even if you put a runner in a football pitch, the competitive mode would automatically kick in, and you would immediately see the runner trying to make an impact, however insignificant. Even if he has never kicked a ball all his life, as soon as he gets onto that pitch or gets into a competitive game, he immediately gets into the mood to compete, not cruise

And just so you know, competition contributes to an athlete's personal and social development. Any athlete who selects games in which to be competitive is either lazy (and wouldn't reach the peak of his career) or is merely doing sport for everything other than passion.

Well the world shifted from communalism, to slavery to feudalism and now capitalism... And everytime there was a drift from one epoch to another, economic power was reinforced and strength became valueless..
As the tides changed, surpluses began to emerge, the more influential people were no longer the physically imposing but those that had access to those surpluses..
Women having being a suppressed gender also needed to make adjustments on their own, as the men were stronger, they also found themselves at a disadvantage when economic power came into the picture. They were not allowed to own lands and partake in the making of major decisions. Consequently, they became economically disadvantage... So they naturally drifted from desiring the strongest male to desiring the richest male... Of course, with Economic power, came political power... The dynamics of power simply shifted from physical to Economic and Political.. That is what happened..
That post of mine that you quoted sought to correct the impression that women seeking rich men is natural.

No, it is not natural. Whatever shortcomings women face in today's world were created by humans, not nature.

Like I wrote earlier, there is no evidence of segregation prior to the time humans discovered agriculture.

If you tell me the difference... maybe I will agree.
Aggression and aggressiveness are closely related—both can mean hostile or destructive behavior or actions —but in practical usage, especially in North America, they have differentiated. Aggression is more extreme, usually involving maliciousness or even hostility that can take the form of violent action. Aggressiveness is rarely malicious or violent. Instead, the word connotes assertiveness and drive—a more figurative aggression. It is more of an attitude, and it may even be viewed as a positive character attribute in the workplace or on a sports field, for instance. Aggression involves behaviors that would not be considered acceptable in these settings.

You don't go to church, you gather as a church.

And, church was never meant to be sermonic. Churches have become like public gatherings where pastors use the opportunities to display rhymes and British English and philosophies on how your investments in church can transform into a life without stress.

Church is supposed to be conversational. If you have ever lived near a mosque, you would have seen what it means to be conversational when in the evening, the men would gather and reason with each other the way Paul did in the temple.

Money is the new form of protection or brawn. The only way to mark your territory today is to buy it with money not with body scent or roaring. Women are at a slight disadvantage when it comes to making money. Downtime during pregnancy and nursing will require that a man provides and protect vulnerable mother and child.
I also believe there is a correlation between testosterone and drive and aggression ...needed traits to conquer in business and career. If you try to make everything too female friendly at work....your competitors don't operate by the same rules.
That drive, obsession, sleep deprivation in order to perfect your craft, no qualms when it comes to crushing an opponent or enemy on the warfront and boardroom all require a bit of aggression (testosterone).
Only women that can simulate these traits make it to the top.
You are confusing aggressiveness with aggression.

From your post, its not difficult to deduce how money got into the equation. Money is the protection.

I agree with you that women also have the capacity to make money. In some homes, women are breadwinners and a number of young ladies now understand the place of financial independence.
But money can be protection for both men and women, so it is obviously not the protection women sought in the beginning.

Even in contemporary hunter-gatherer societies, women gathered their own foods. The only thing they were mostly incapable of providing themselves was protection.

There are no evidence that women have always depended on men aside for protection.

I think segregation from the discovery of agriculture made women poorer due to the disadvantage of a relatively weaker physical capacity. The discovery of agriculture also made men wealthier than women.

In summary, I merely falsified the theory that women seeking rich men is natural. No, it is not natural.

I don't really blame women that marry solely for money....its a primordial thing in all women white or black. The same way men have the instinct to spread their seed. We are both just learning to tame our wild sides as humans....with laws and religion and love stories.
Safarigirl....you are fighting a war against nature. It takes strenght... Ku ise.
Premodial ke?

There was no money from the beginning o. And no marriage either.

However, in prehistoric times, women spread legs for stronger men. Same with what still happens among animals. A lioness, for instance, does not need a lion that can kill prey for her. A lioness is very much capable of taking down her own prey. However, a lioness would allow a stronger male access to her because of protection, and superior stock (children).

Women sought protection (which was why nature made them relatively smaller in size by ensuring that they had less testosterone than men).

How money got into the equation is not new as well. But it is not natural. Because nature did not make women incapable of making their own money, especially in today's world.

Anyone with such a mentality is not interested in making their own money. They think any man they are with owes them money, that is why they can't be with one that doesn't have enough money to buy them.

There is also oil on my head, I don't need man with money, I need a man with sense. We will make money together, because there are many men with money, that are absolutely senseless. You can get money along the way, but sense is hard to come by

On what?

Do you have any figures backing that?

Do you have any articles from anyone who made Billions in dollars from business who spends that much on monthly expenditure for "Personal Lifestyle"?

Let's leave that aside.

You want covenant to be made cheap without losing standards? Why don't you demand the same from your public universities who get Millions of Naira in funding and yet maintain shitty standards??

A man works hard to improve the standard of a university and make it world class.

Then you come and leave the hundreds of Federal and state university to come and dictate to him what he should do with his PERSONAL MONEY for people to come into the school.

You have a big entitlement mentality but you don't know it.

You think it is cheap to run a school of that magnitude and class?

Look at another post of mine on this thread

You think that standards are made easily?

You're ignorant.

Who told you that the school doesn't already offer scholarships?

Go and check out the average student loan debt for a single student in the United States.

Calculate Covenant school fees for a single student and then multiply it by 4 years, convert it to Naira and then see if it is up to half of what is obtainable for Public institutions in the United States.

Now look at the economic situation of the country and ask yourself whether the country's environment itself supports the establishment of Schools of that quality.

But as usual your ignorance plus entitlement mentality feels that because he's a pastor, all the money he owns in this life came from the offering of his members and nothing else, thus you can sit there and dictate what he does and how he does it.

Giving you a university that is Standard in a shit hole country like this is not enough, you want him to make it cheap too.

Go to American University of Nigeria Yola and tell them the same thing too.
