Nice2023:
If you earn form 50k pounds downwards you pay only 20% tax

If you earn from 51k pounds to 125k pounds you pay 40% tax.

So you rather remain at 49k than accept 50/60k pounds salary.
The UK Government even have the data of the citizens, and they know what every citizen earns, so as to know how to TAX them...

OK Naa..
OYA COME TO NIGERIA..

The Nigerian Government don't even know the actual number of its citizens, not to talk of knowing the number of its working citizens..
Therefore knowing what the citizens earn might be a future-impossible tense.!!

Sports › Re: Rivellino: Osimhen Lacks The Technical Quality To Be Called A Champion. by BluntCrazeMan: 5:29am On Dec 17, 2023
nairalandankrah:
Former Napoli midfielder Rosario Rivellino has explained why Victor Osimhen cannot be considered a champion despite his recent exploits.

The 24-year-old is considered to be one of the best players in world football at the moment as he was nominated for the Ballon d'Or and the Best FIFA Men's Player of the Year, which are the two biggest individual awards presently.

Back home in Africa, he is regarded as the best player on the continent at the moment having been crowned as the CAF Men's Player of the Year on Monday.

Despite the feats being recorded by the Nigerian forward, Rivellino is not convinced that the 24-year-old should be referred to as a champion

"He will also be able to score many goals, win not one but three Ballon d'Ors, but for me, he will never be a champion,"he explained to Tele A via Area Napoli.

"I don't think he has the technical means to deserve such an important definition.

"For me, very few footballers in the world can be considered champions and Victor Osimhen does not fall into that category"

While Rivellino doesn't rate Osimhen highly, the same cannot be said of his former employer, Napoli, who consider him a very valuable player having played a pivotal role in ending their wait for the Scudetto last season.

The Serie A defending champions have agreed on a deal in principle with the Nigerian forward which will extend the end of his contract from 2025 to 2026 and will make him one of the best-paid players in the club's history.

Family › Re: My Wife Decide Not To Apologize For Offending Me by BluntCrazeMan:
Plus4you:
Few days ago my wife was angried and utterred some statements that I do not like.
The statement was that she relating an issue by using my mum
The statement was "had it been it was your mum that did that you would have find means to repay her'.
I find it offensive for uttering such a statement, I was offended immediately but I kept my calm because we are already prepared to go out.

So when we came back I informed her that I am annoyed with what she said.

Her reply was that she did nothing wrong with such a statement because she didn't insult or belittle my mum.

I told I'm not but she decided not to apologize for that.

After two days our communication has not been normal and it only greetings.

So the next day I called and discussed it with her but still stands that she isn't wrong.

We have not been in good terms since then,

Please isn't she supposed to apologise despite that I told her I don't like the statement?
If you cannot move on from things like this,, then you will be having series of issues..

For me.. I don't apologise.
And I don't expect her to apologise either.

Change for the better in the future is what matters most to me,, and not dwelling on the past and sulking over it, and letting it affect the present or the future.

So,, we just say whatever we want to say about the things that just happened,, and warn that it shouldn't repeat itself again.

Yess..
Hold your apologies, and keep it to yourself..
But don't repeat the nonsense again.
Else, you're inviting my own nonsense in retaliation.
