Romance › Re: I'm Fed Up. My Boyfriend Thinks I'm A Prostitute. by BluntCrazeMan: 11:25am On Jan 18, 2022 |
Rachel98: Merry Christmas Everyone. I promise to be brief. Pls Pardon any typo errors. I'm so confused right now. Pls I need mature advice
My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost a year now. He's gentle (he talks only when needed, and he listens more), good looking, hard working and smart. He stays in a well furnished apartment. He don't smoke but drinks alcohol only occasionally. Everyone in his area respect him alot elderly, young even little children of age 4 and 5 calls his name and waves at him. I would be like how do this kids know you. He will laugh saying "me self tire". I'm faithful to him and he loves me. Despite my parents are strict, I always find ways to be with him.
Yes, We do have intimacy in our relationship. Now here is the problem. He prefer to have sex with me in an Hotel, which I hate so much. If we're together in his house, he will just say let's go out, the next thing we're in a hotel. He wastes his money on hotels. I don't like it. Maybe we can go there to eat in the restaurants, swim or drink but not to sleep over. Me personally I don't like it. But I have talked to him about it yet he won't listen. I angrily asked him if he's an occult, ritualist, or something.....Or will he die if he have sex in his house. He said God forbid!!
What he displayed yesterday got me really angry like I'm fed up. I'm an auditor in my uncle's firm. My uncle celebrated his birthday/end of the year party in our firm yesterday. There was food and drinks. We the female staffs were the ones that prepared the food. I reserved like 4 take-away packs of rice nd chicken, cake and 3 5alive drinks for my boyfriend. So I called him that I would bring food for him. When I got to his house I gave him the food, he was happy as usual. So He said I should follow him to his car, he tried to touch and have sex with in his car like I'm a prostitute. I told him to stop. I was so angry, I took my hand bag and I went home. He has been calling me since yesterday (16 missed calls now) I haven't pick.
I don't know if I should end this relationship. He behaves like I'm a prostitute or something....I need a good advice I'm confused.
Thanks to the few people that gave me mature advice. Seriously, with some comments here most nairalanders are really frustrated and bitter.
Please nairaland mods should try and control these frustrated people. Ladies are suffering in this great forum. How would a foreigner feel when going through all these comments?? So, have you tried to find out the reason from him?? Like, he does as if there is a hidden reason, and he doesn't want to tell you about it. |

Family › Re: Help! My Wife Is Suddenly Too Violent by BluntCrazeMan: 10:08am On Jan 18, 2022 |
Lucaslookers: Please married folks in the house,
My lovely wife and I have been married for almost 2 years now. I know I am not a perfect person and she is not too but we have been managing.
Why I opened this thread is that I am very afraid of her new attitude of always carrying weapons anytime we have a misunderstanding.
It started when I found out she had an abortion without telling me and when I confronted her she flared up and started behaving like a tout jumping here and there.
On Friday last week we were discussing about how to go about the new business I want to set up for her and somehow we got into an argument and she ran into the kitchen and grabbed a knife.
Again, this morning I simply asked her to waybill some foodstuffs to her father as I wouldn't be able to do that before heading to my place of business and she grabbed my clothes and started calling me names, next thing she picked up the belt hanging on the wardrobe and started threatening to teach me a lesson.
I have never been a woman beater and honestly don't know what has gotten into her. We have a pending issue we are yet to sort out but still I am keeping my calm why is she the one suddenly going violent??
Please what do I do? I don't want blood on my hands because if I touch her it will be very bad. My marriage is still young. Tell us more about the abortion. Who was responsible for the pregnancy that led to the abortion? What made her hide it from you? Why are you so soft in dealing with it sternly and decisively? |

I am doing some little researches on the NPC and NIMC. Even though a staff of NPC confided in me that they planned to work hand-in-hand with the NIMC in this upcoming #Census2022, I have not yet confirmed same from any staff of NIMC. Nevertheless, I still have some puzzles which I am yet to crack. ... 1. Since it had been clear to us that the NPC does NOT issue unique registration numbers to each of the persons whose births had been captured and enrolled in their Birth Register (so as to facilitate easy tracking of the information of such registered persons with the unique registration number of the person on the NPC Birth Register), Do you think that issuing such a unique number from the NPC would now be necessary again, since there is the NIN Number already being issued by the NIMC, bearing in mind that NIMC and NPC would soon start working together.?
2. Since the #Census2022 would be captured digitally, and thus we are expecting the Census to give Birth to a strong complete database of all Nigerians (both citizens and residents), Does it now mean that all the other database systems that registered and stored the identity information of Nigerians such as the NIMC, INEC, Immigration Services, Telecoms-NCC, Bank-BVN, and so on, are going to key-in into the robust NPC database, and then synchronise all their information together?? |

helinues: It required strong institution and time. .. .. Just the way I have learnt to start trusting INEC these days (even though they still have a lot of work to do),, I am also trying my best to start learning how to trust the NPC too.. They are far below what they should be. But if they start putting in their best, and with the help and constant input and monitoring from the citizens, they would definitely come out better. |
Politics › Re: Census2022: Is It Necessary For Citizens To Travel Back To Their Own States? by BluntCrazeMan(op): 12:27pm On Jan 17, 2022 |
helinues: Why should they when there records are almost in all database.
Even employers can have access to ones private data I don't really believe that something that is obtainable in the US cannot be replicated (even with better results) in our Nigeria. .. So, why would it reach the turn of Nigeria to do Census, and it happens that the best option is for the Citizens to travel back to their villages to be counted? .. I mean, even if we lack the database we need in Nigeria, we can use this very Census to build the database. Isn't it?? |
Politics › Re: Census2022: Is It Necessary For Citizens To Travel Back To Their Own States? by BluntCrazeMan(op): 12:23pm On Jan 17, 2022 |
kponkedenge: Yes and no.
Reason being that - for those that spend more months in a calendar year in their state of origin, but are frequent travellers to other states, it would be good to do it in your state of origin.
But, if you reside in another state, for example Rivers State and you're from Edo... But you spend almost all your life in Rivers, then it is only logical to do your census in Rivers State. This is the very logical thing to do. .. But the Nigerian Political Methods and the Nigerian Political Environment wouldn't allow the Citizens to think in such a logical manner. |

helinues: It's because we don't have database of the citizens. In USA, you can obtain state id, same as DL at any state cos they have database of your details to verify your information In recent US Census, did the citizens travel to their Places of Origin for them to be captured from there?? |
Politics › Re: Census2022: Is It Necessary For Citizens To Travel Back To Their Own States? by BluntCrazeMan(op): 12:12pm On Jan 17, 2022 |
helinues: As an Anambra indigene living and working in Lagos with Lagos state Id, your Lagos Id card would be non resident Id card. You do not expect to have same benefits with Lagos Indigenes with that same I'd card.
In USA during Tax refund, you can file for state and federal. The state tax is for only those who worked in that state whether your state of origin or not .. .. ARE WE NOT SAYING THE SAME THING HERE?? .. .. |
