Children don't need finger print, the NIN should be mandatory from birth.

Since NIN Registration requires fingerprint capturing, and also, since newly-born babies already have fingerprints which are not even going to ever change even after their old-age, what prevents children from undergoing the fingerprint capturing?

So long as the baby is your wife's and she was married to you when she had that child, traditional laws in Nigeria accord custody of child to the husband at the time of the birth.

So, if the baby belongs to the wife, and not to the man, can the embassies allow them both to travel with the baby??

Something is definitely wrong somewhere. The murder was probably a mistaken identity and now that the real identity of the victim has been exposed, those who killed him are now trying to distance themselves from the murder and point accusing fingers at others. Hopefully, the Nigeria Police force will commence investigation immediately and unravel the murderers and bring them to justice.
