Period007: They didn't have to favour APC. But by favouring LP, they have encouraged a lot of bandwagoners to join the LP movement. Hope you know that there are people who just want to be on the winning team? So, when the poll make it seem like Obi would win, those bandwagoners jump on the seemingly winning team. Look at the celebrities who have been coming out to endorse Peter Obi. Why didn't they come out earlier? They waited until it began to seem like Obi had gathered traction. Also, because of the hype, anyone supporting Obi is rewarded with thousands of love. But it would all come to an end in 6 days time, and then you would see those who would stay with Peter Obi. You would see how the Obidient nonsense would fizzle out. |

Kemistri4: You are not making a logical statement. ANAP may be favourable towards Obi because he is a customer. It doesn't negate the fact that Obi won the other polls based on merit. Some of the polls he won may have been genuinely won. It doesn't mean that the ANAP poll was genuinely won. |

One thing I have noticed about Obi is that he doesn't know how to say "sorry" or to admit wrongdoing. He would first try to lie his way out of the situation. He is not anywhere near a true leader. Let us look at Obi very critically. His many lies and how he reacted when he was busted. 1. The Pandora Papers. Before the Pandora Papers scandal, no one could have imagined that Saint Peter Obi had integrity issues. As far as everyone was concerned, all his assets were known. The number of houses he had and the number of shoes, clothes, and wristwatches he had. Then, Pandora Papers happened. Obi was exposed as a dishonest man who, like every politician he claims to be different from, stashed wealth in a notorious tax haven. How did Obi react? Instead of apologizing, and promising to be more honest in the future, Obi began to be defensive, claiming that he didn't break any laws. Truly, he didn't break any laws. But for a man who likes to show off as open and different, it was a big mess on his name. You would never find the name of people like Buhari in Pandora Papers. Obi ought to be ashamed of himself and show true contrition. But instead, he tried to be defensive. 2. Heading "Next International" While He Was Governor Of Anambra State It is against the law for a governor to run personal businesses. Obi remained chairman of Next for 14 months after becoming Anambra state governor. When this issue was later revisited after Obi left the seat of power in Anambra, Obi claimed that he had resigned immediately before he was sworn in, and it was the fault of those concerned that the necessary documentation was not made. However, it turned out to be a lie. Obi never resigned until 14 months after he became governor. A simple "I am sorry" would have shown him to be a true leader. But no, he had to make excuses, and to blame someone for his own problems. 3. The Brewery Saga When the brewery saga was revisited in 2019 when Peter Obi was vice presidential candidate of Atiku, all Obi could have done was admit wrongdoing, and apologize. But what did he do? He tried to make excuses. At first, he said he had nothing to do with the brewery. But when the interviewer said she had records of the shareholders, Obi quickly claimed that the deal did not benefit him. That it only benefited Anambra state. Yet again, the interviewer asked him how much his family benefited from the deal, Obi said he did not know. Is that one a leader that you can trust? 4. Still On The Brewery Saga Peter Obi claimed that the 20 million dollars of Anambra money he invested in SabMiller was now worth close to 100 million dollars. When Soludo came out to say all the investments claimed to have been made by previous governments were now worth next to nothing, Peter Obi changed mouth. A simple sorry or just silence would have been better. But Obi had to make himself look saintly. Obi, in his usual manner, claimed that he never said the investment was now worth close to 100 million dollars. Obi claimed that "one boy" is behind the "close to 100 million dollars" claim. 5. The Odili Angle Yet again, the Pandora lying machine could not stop himself from telling lies. This time, he didn't know that people would actually take the time to verify. He thought it was his usual lie which people hardly bother to verify. This time, he made a claim which seemed to picture him as a contemporary of Odili at CKC. When the lie was busted, Obi (in his usual manner) went defensive and chose to blame his listeners. He accused his listeners of misinterpreting him. Sometimes, it is just good to be silent than to call people fools. Obi has shown many times that he is not a true leader, but his followers are too blind to see it. |

Scarcity234: You are missing the point. People are suffering because of the rapid demonetization. But because you people think it favours your candidate, you are begging people to manage until Saturday. Now, the question is: What if Tinubu wins on Saturday? Wouldn't you be a hypocrite if you start criticizing the policy too? The people you have told that the policy will make it impossible to win, so they should manage. How would you explain to them that the policy which you have defended as the work of God has failed to stop Tinubu? You are putting all your eggs in one basket believing that Tinubu would lose as long as the policy extends up to Saturday. I know many of you are suffering too, but you are delusional with the idea that it is only until Saturday. You are refusing to condemn the demonetization for as long as you believe it would stop Tinubu. What if it fails to stop Tinubu? What would be your new song? |

MzErica: Obi is a disaster waiting to happen. An insensitive man who kept arrears of salaries and pensions in the bank, and starved workers of Anambra Water Corporation workers for 8 years. He could not increase IGR to a sufficient amount to pay the minimum wage but rather chose to blame FG for revenue distribution. He awarded contracts to his associates. Government House was reconstructed by his associate and one of his former campaign manager. Ever wonder why Psquare are hellbent on pushing him down our throats? Because they know they would be rewarded handsomely by the nepotistic Peter Obi. A man who did absolutely nothing world class in Anambra, whose only achievements are miles of road which have all washed off, and money he saved in banks. Like someone said, Peter Obi is better off as w treasurer. Someone like him should not be leading a country, especially a multiethnic country like Nigeria. 7 Likes 4 Shares |

LZAA: The lion is not even the king of the jungle. It is king of the savannah because the lion lives in savannah. The king of the jungle is the tiger. If these two animals lived in the same habitat, the lion would be no match for a tiger. The tiger will beat the lion in a fight. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Doyou2019: You are still playing politics with an economic disaster staring us in the face. Go and read what happened in India when Modi tried rapid demonetization. To you, Nigerians should suffer until Saturday when Tinubu would no longer be able to buy votes. But what if Tinubu eventually wins. What would you now tell those same people? Would you tell them that they suffered in vain because Tinubu still ended up buying votes to win? Would you not lose your respect? Would you not then need to add your voice to the protest? 1 Like |

Godisablealltim: You people and your nzogbu nzogbu politics. You don't ever ask questions. You just do follow follow. Ask yourself the question: "What if Tinubu wins, and the cash scarcity remains"? What would you do then? Would you shamefully join us to condemn this foolish demonetization or would you hide your face in shame and suffer in silence? It was the same question Charles Soludo indirectly asked the Igbos: " What if Obi does not win?" 1 Like |

Godisablealltim: Supposing he wins the election, and the cash crunch continues? Records have shown that rapid demonetization has dire consequences on a struggling economy. We are already seeing the effect with the spike in headline inflation despite the reduction in the purchasing power of millions of Nigerians. Instead of you to join the people to condemn this rushed policy, you are playing politics with it. If Tinubu wins on Saturday, remember that Buhari would still be president for another 3-4 months. Maybe then, when the adverse effects of the rapid demonetization starts hitting hard, you would understand why we are angry. To you, it is about the election. The election will come and go. Even if your candidate becomes president, they would inherit the consequences of this stupid policy. And guess who would suffer for it? You think it would be Tinubu? Highest, he won't be president. But the economic hardship that would swallow up the masses would not have any effects on him. 2 Likes |

Joevics: Obi did not satisfactorily explain the source of his wealth. Or better still, tell us how Obi became wealthy? How did he go from a common trader and son of a trader to a billionaire? Obi was prudent? How? Do you need Keynesian economics? You don't save money when you haven't met the basic needs of your state. That is not prudence. That is incompetence. You save money because you can't think of what to use it for. And it is not prudence when you leave over 120 billion naira in debts and liabilities. So, building hospitals in the 21st century is an achievement? Tinubu improved existing hospitals and reduced the health burden of Lagos state. Your Obi cannot thrive in the 21st century. We need a proactive and great thinker in the person of Tinubu who can spot problems and solve them. Imagine Lagos state under Obi. It would still be dependent on Federal allocation because Peter Obi would rather save money than look for sources of money so as to embark on modern infrastructures. |
