The question was not meant for me. Like I said, it has not crossed my mind not because I had no one in the past before my wife. Its just that for me there isn't much of a difference between women and so there really was no need for my mind to wander (after my marriage) to a previous relationship for comparism. Like I have said in other posts, the sooner men realise that women are virtually the same, the happier they will become. Just enjoy the one you have. You cant have another one. Christianity does not even allow to make another choice. you can only pray for God to make it better.

Do you for once in your quiet time feel you've married the wrong person and wished you could roll back the hands of time and make another choice? I am married and the thought has never crossed my mind but I hear guys say so.

Guys, just wait for the judicial abracadabra that will emanate from this judgment. Supposing the Court of Appeal says the FEC cannot be compelled to decide and the Supreme Court affirms the CA decision, what then.

The question is not whether Yar Adua is around or not.  The question is whether he is fit to discharge his duty as President.  Even if he returns today a true  Federal Executive Council ought to be a ble to tell us whether he is fit to continue as President.  Bit trust the Nigerian politician.  If he returns in a coffin they will still say he is fit.

I felt like crying when I listened to Yar Adua on BBC. That man needs to be flown back home immediately for burial whether dead or alive.

I sent him a text back then to say "O boy it appears you are on your way to Aso Rock, given your new found closeness to the President Elect" and he replied 'NEVER". The rest is history and he is doing a good job at it. I wish someone can put a mic to him and ask this simple question "how many times have you spoken to your principal since November 23, 2009." I use a Haier starcomms phone D1200p as modem to connect to the internet.  Surprisingly the my pc has refused to recognise the phone despite the fact that I have been using it and the driver is installed.  I must add that I use a motorolla USB cable for it since it has the same port with the haeir phone.  Am I having the problem because the cable is motorolla and not haier? Do I need to change the cable?

How will seceding from main stream and good old Nigeria help us in the South?  Are we United sufficiently in the South.  Someone enlighten me please.

Yar’Adua not with us - Saudi Hospital - Yar’Adua not answerable to NASS on acting president - Aondoakaa

THE ailing President Umaru Yar’Adua, who left Nigeria 37 days ago for medical attention in Saudi Arabia, was never admitted to King Faisal Hospital at all as believed by Nigerians, the Nigerian Tribune can report authoritatively.

Investigations conducted by the Nigerian Tribune on Tuesday revealed that the president was not in either of the two branches of King Faisal Hospital in Riyadh and Jeddah.

Few days after the president left the country, presidential spokesperson, Mr. Olusegun Adeniyi, addressed a press conference, where he told Nigerians that President Yar’Adua had been taken to Saudi Arabia for confirmatory checks, when speculations became rife as to his whereabouts.

According to Adeniyi, the Chief Physician to the President, Dr. Salisu Banye, had said Yar’Adua had been diagnosed of acute pericardits, an inflammation with the sac-like covering of the heart, on November 26.

“It was then decided that he should undertake confirmatory checks at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he had his last medical checkup in August. The medical review and tests undertaken at the hospital have confirmed the initial diagnosis that the president is, indeed, suffering from Acute Pericarditis,” the statement had said.

But investigations conducted by the Nigerian Tribune revealed that President Yar’Adua was not in either of the two branches of King Faisal Special Hospital in Riyadh and Jeddah.

In fact, a worker in the central unit of the hospital, Hubaid Al-Atabi, disclosed in a telephone conversation conducted in Arabic, that the president was never admitted to the hospital, adding that his record was not in their possession.

He, therefore, advised the Nigerian Tribune to make an enquiry at the Jeddah branch of the hospital, which further revealed that the president was also not admitted therein by a member of staff who refused to disclose his name.

Meanwhile, a source said the president is still in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, though out of hospital.

The source said further that the president, for now, could not embark on long haul trip, thus making it difficult for him to be taken to either the United States or Germany.

The possibility is that his wife, Hajia Turai, might have decided to explore the spiritual angle by moving him to a place where the already employed marabouts can pray for him unhindered, a source said.

Another source said the family had objected to taking the president on air ambulance to either the US or Germany and even Nigeria, because of the unusual noise that it could cause.

Given the latest development, nobody, not even the aides of the president, could say authoritatively where President Yar’Adua is. Meanwhile, if the controversial Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Michael Aondoakaa, was presumed to be speaking the mind of ailing PresidentYar’Adua’s kitchen cabinet, then Vice-President Goodluck Jonathan and those pushing for his constitutional ascension as acting president should perish such an idea.

The minister, who had said Yar’Adua could rule from sickbed, told a federal high court sitting in Abuja, on Tuesday, that the operational 1999 Constitution did not make it mandatory for Yar’Adua to communicate the National Assembly, even when he could no longer discharge his constitutional duties.

His position was contained in government’s preliminary objection to a suit by Mr. Femi Falana, seeking an order of the court compelling Yar’Adua to constitutionally hand over the reins of governance to Jonathan in acting capacity while still ailing and another by a former lawmaker, Honourable Farouk Aliyu, seeking to declare the president unfit to continue in office.

A spoilt brat.  Pure and simple.   At 23 he can afford to be junketing around the globe plotting to assasinate innocent people. He had it all and sought to deny others of life.  He will rot in jail.

The same nairalanders who say Kanu should continue talking like a bushman just because it fetches him money are the same who are criticising Yar Adua for not resigning forgetting that it fetches him money too.  Ever heard of the saying "When in Rome, do as the Romans do?  The lack of intellect (except football) that made him leave the class room for football is still accompanying him.  He doesn't have to "blow" fonee.  He just needs to pronounce better afterall the language is not his and if he must speak it he should do it at least as close to the owners of the language.
