TravelRe: The Hidden City Of Nigeria (ikot-ekepne). Another Akpabio Magic ! by Bolade005: 10:15pm On May 12, 2015
I served in Akwa Ibom state. State college, Abak road, Ikot ekpene precisely.

On the surface, Ikot Ekpene is a beautiful village but when you go beyond the surface, beyond the surface now is "deeper into the city" then you will realise there is nothing in Ikot Ekpene. I can count the number of houses there with a bathroom, toilet and Kitchen attached to the main house. Not modern bathroom and toliet sef. Ikot Ekpene is a glorifed / advanced village.

Oh, I've missed this old woman at plaza where I always go to eat pounded yam with better white soup anytime FG pays allawee. Anyways, Akwa Ibom ayaya. Ikot ekpene ayaya.
BusinessRe: Pls Help Mistake In My CAC Registeration Document. by Bolade005: 6:37pm On May 10, 2015
emekaxy:
Fellow Nairalanders,
I want to know the best way to handle this and also know if it will affect me in any way.

I paid a lawyer to process my CAC registration but at the end when the documents came out I found an error in my names,
Its supposed to be Salisu Muyiwa Chima but on the documents it bears Salisu Muyiwa Salisu.
I want to know if it will affect me during opening account and FIRS registration because it's taking more than 4months and the lawyer is still giving me stories.

Thank you
Yes it's going to affect you. You can make an affidavit pending the time the error is corrected by CAC.
TravelRe: Recent Beautiful Pictures Of Ibadan - The Pride Of SW. by Bolade005: 3:16pm On May 09, 2015
lolaluv1:
You and I know the hustle of Iwo Road, the bustle of Dugbe, the starkness of Beere and the sights of Apata. It's a very big city, with some high notes But also several lows.

The drivers there might be the most reckless ever! Impatient, uncouth and very ruthless. And the crime rate is quite high, But I have to give it to the law enforcement agents. They are really trying.

That is not to say there aren't beautiful places like Agodi Gardens, Ventura, Bodija and Oluyole. But all in all, Ibadan is No Akwa Ibom.
You can say Ibadan is no Uyo but you definitely can't say Oyo state is no Akwa Ibom state. I served in Ikot Ekpene and I toured most LGs during my stay there and yes Uyo is a very fine city but that's all to Akwa Ibom. Ikot Ekpene, Abak and other cities only have beautiful roads with working street lights but they are all glorified villages.

Maybe Uyo is finer than Ibadan but Oyo state is finer than Akwa Ibom state.

PoliticsRe: Malala's Letter To Nigeria's Abducted Schoolgirls: 'solidarity, Love, And Hope' by Bolade005: 9:19pm On Apr 13, 2015
I have come to realise that all mankind, no matter the colour, race and/or tribal differences, we all share a common origin, common problems and a common ultimate fate, Death. I have also come to realise that the problems we all share are far greater than the problems that divide us, and that what divides us is of our making. We invented racism, tribalism and all other BS but the heart of man is filled with LOVE.

Love is exactly what's making a Pakistani girl to have so much pain and love for people in distress in far away Africa.

Soon, our sisters will be back and you shall hug every one of them, Malala.

May God keep those girls.

God bless you Malala.

I am sure the same youths must be in jubilant mood by now as they must have heard that Ambode has trashed Agbaje black and blue.

How can Agbaje even believe for a second that he could win a state that, OBJ with all the federal might at his disposal failed to wrestle from Jagaban?

How could he have believed that he had a chance in Lagos which GEJ/PDP knew they must win to have a chance at re-election; but failed to win with all the dollars and the federal might?

JK - Just kidding!
Bro, seriously I really want to know the soothsayer that told Agbaje he stands a chance in Jagaban's domain. A state the only genius of Jagaban's repute, OBJ could not win for years. Infact, with the way baba dey famz APC now, I'm beginning to believe Tinubu is a bit more genius (permit this grammar) than Baba.

No one stands a chance in Lagos as long as Jagaban lives. I'm sure Agbaje now know this for a fact.

I'm proud to be a progressive. I'm proud to be associated with Tinubu. And i'm proud we've made Igbos realise that Lagos is a Yoruba state.

Eko o ni baje.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Is Not A Hero – Oby Ezekwesili by Bolade005: 6:59pm On Apr 03, 2015
Mr Ebele is not a hero to me, the real HERO is the man who never gave up his dream, the man who kept trying, the man who never stopped believing. General Muhammadu Buhari is the hero not Ebele.

Talking of heroes, the Late Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh over Ebele.

My friend, be careful
I swear you're a ret*rd, my uncle lives in that UK and he was always on our neck telling us to make sure we collect our PVS and ensure we go out to vote. Do you know how many people back home he inspired to vote?. Nwanne, you're no supporter of Buhari, you're only famzing success.

It is not true.

Most companies are moving away from the North. The only remaining bank in the whole bauchi and yobe got bombed sometime last year.

A friend of mine went for a job interview in a multinational company last year, they begged him to take the offer and be posted to Kaduna but he refused. Its not only volatile areas that are affected.
Ask around, Kaduna is peaceful and far better than most states in the SE. YES.

Forgive Igbos for what exactly? Do people not have the right to cast their vote without fear or favour?

I supported Buhari but with the way you idiots are sounding, I regret it
People indeed have the right to vote for their choice candidate without fear or favour but when that choice is born out of sentiments and tribalism, then they should be ready to bear the brunt of their stupidity.

And really you should stop famzing the General now that he's won, you're a r*tard for saying you supported him. How did you support him? How many of your people did you convince to not let sentiment becloud their reasoning and vote for the right candidate, GMB?.

It is like calling a black man 'nigga' when you are not black.

To your post, I think the North needs more attention, to be honest. The economy of those states has being crippled. I served in the North, I know how bad it was even before bokoharam.
I called you that in the spirit of brotherhood, I take that back.

I once lived in Abia too and I saw the level of rot in that place, I think SE needs the same attention as the North.

It will take Enugu eternity to be half as industrialised as Ogun state. Never in this life will the educational standard of your people be half as good as the Southwest.

Keep comparing tour state with Jigawa. Fool, compare Imo or Enugu with Niger state na.

Buhari should go and re-build his bokoharam-devastated north before thinking about se.

We will forgive him if he spend his entire tenure doing that. Ndigbo is doing fine smiley
Nwokem, don't be deceived, Ndigbo is not doing fine, maybe Enugu and Imo are doing okay but the rest are sick and you know it. Stop being delusional.

The General is a great man, he believes in One Nigeria so I believe he will forgive you people in the SS and SE for the sake of better people like Okorocha, Ngige, Amaechi and the rest and do something meaningful to better the life of your people.

You Igbos forgot one thing, that the problems we share are greater than the problems that divide us and that what divides us is of our own making just like your contempt for anything APC.

Nwokem, be guided.

Signs of good things to come.
It did happen. I saw it with my own eyes and I even called people to come out and see too. I called a friend in Ondo and he told me he didn't see anything but everyone here in Abeokuta that I called saw it. It came out around 8pm before Jega declared the General as the winner.

I think they should stop releasing figures from the North until we have figures from some of the SS and SE states too. I think this is a deliberate attempt by PDP to be able to calculate how much more they will need to inflate the figures so as to surpass the figures from the North.

Nigerians, let's be vigilant.

A new dawn is here.

Anyways, Sai Baba. Sai Buhari.
