I don't mean to insult anybody's religion or choice of God, but I have often wondered why the biblical God is so fascinated with blood sacrifices and sex,

If you read some accounts of the old testament you would think that the God yahweh, was a "juju" cos of his insistence on animal sacrifices, he even instructs the levites on how to kill the animals and where to sprinkle their blood and how to do all sorts of barbaric ritual rites, the animals used for these sacrifices ranged from the innocent dove to the mighty bull,

the biblical God is painted as a bloodthirsty angry God, who loves killing, he kills for very absurd reasons, in the old testament he could kill your child for laughing at a bald headed man or he could even kill you for trying to prevent the ark of covenant from falling, but the biblical God's fascination with blood, entered the next level when he had to kill his own son to satisfy his blood lust, anytime I think of the biblical God's blood lust, it sends shivers down my spine, there are numerous scriptures in the "holy" bible that buttress my point, but I wouldn't want to go into that,

And the biblical God has this hatred for sex, he wants masturbators to be killed, he hates uncircumsized men, he was happy when david went to kill over two hundred philistines so that he could bring their foreskins to saul as bride price, (very disgusting), and numerous other examples of his fascination with sex, if he hates sex so much, why didn't he create an alternative form of procreation for mankind, there are lots of things to be said but I rest my case for now,

This is a step in the right direction, he has to use force to handle these terrorists scum, they have to be shown that the state of the union is STRONG.

Ask you youself why the Islamic thread was separated from the main religion board. After a while, the arguments become tiring as they become recycled debates.

With the advent of a new power hungry Mod in the Islam section, the constructive debates have been reduced.

If you ask me, I think the real cowards are those that are afraid to debate their belief system out of fear of realising the fallacy in the religion.

I even support xtians having their own section as I cannot see why muslims are rewarded (if you can call the cancer of having your own section because you cannot share your toys that) for doing something as egregious as threatening people. For one, it sets a bad precedent.

If xtians want their own section, they should get it. In fact, as they're being rewarded for their (relatively) good behavior with a section of theirs, the muslim one should be deleted and they should be made to share with us (and any other xtians willing to play) in a neutral section until they grow up.

the reason I think freethinkers lambaste christians a lot is cos christians go about with this kind of "God complex chosen people mentality" and dats what grinds my gears about christians, in islam if u are a good man doing good things, but u're not a muslim and u die, u'll be going to paradise, (that's understandable) but in christianity, you might be the "goodest" man in the world but if u don't accept jesus as ur savior then, you're a goner, that's one of the most absurd tenets of christianity.
