Kukutente23:
Hahaha 😆 😂

So, what will PDP's fractured and wobbly structure do for him in the short and long term?
He is not even popular in his base the SS.

Throughout the time he was dragging with PDP, none of the PDP SS govs supported him. Even Cross Rivers who were loyal to him lost. So what base is he standing on to hold the structure of PDP? Rivers alone and some spent forces like fayose? Plsss. What Buhari and tinubu has taught us is that no politician can take centre stage without having strong support from his region. Does Wike have that? He'll have to contend with Obi in whatever his plans are as far as SS is concerned.

In fact, if Atiku wants to kill Wike finally, he should just shelve his ambition and offer the PDP platform to Obi. Let me see how Wike will be able to defeat that combo.

He can never be the centrepiece of any strategy. He does not have the reach or clout. Even if he were to become so knowledgeable about APC's workings, what can he do against them? They have him where they want or need. A top member of the opposition at their beck and call! If he wants to go full PDP, he quickly gets labelled an unstable, selfish turncoat. If he sticks with APC, he has to wait in line.

As I've said, I remain convinced he has no way of coming out tops in this his charade. Imagine if Kwankwaso, Obi and Atiku team up, what do you really think will be left of his influence in PDP?
The trio of Atiku, Obi and Kwankwaso have passed the threshold of a collaboration. They've all tested the palatable flair and recognition that comes with individual candidacy and may find it very difficult playing second fiddle to each other. That possibility is ruled out.

I agree that Wike currently doesn't have the SS as a solid support base, but we can both agree that he is a voice capable of rallying grassroot movements when the time is right and after he mends the fences he broke with his ignominious role in the 2023 elections.

That man is taking active steps to build the kind of political machinery Tinubu rode on through the years. Though we can both agree he started his moves on faulty foundations. The next 8years is a lot of time for any ambitious politician with the resources and reach to achieve monumental structural feats and he seems very poised on doing that.

Let's not forget that after Atiku, Tinubu and their band of thieves, Wike's generation is next in line. And same way you're writing him off now, is how nairalanders wrote him off when he started grandstanding with Atiku after their national convention. Wike is not done in our political atmosphere yet, and whether you choose to believe it or not, his best is yet to come.

Working?
I've been asking what Wike's endgame is. He has started another jamboree by courting Saraki as party chair. Are you telling me Saraki will be the chairman to give Wike the much coveted ticket?
Let's even assume he does so. Is he going to run against his boss the president just because he's in a different party? How will he campaign against APC having worked with them for four years?
Is he also going to expect the northern PDP to work for him after what he did?
I think the man is confused. The best bet for him is to part ways with PDP and that's the best option for PDP too. Anything short of that is going to bring the same result of 2023.
Besides, how exactly will Wike court northern voters in the unlikely event he wins the party's ticket?
In my humble opinion, he has crossed the rubicon and his best bet is 16 years time under APC. Anything short of that is just self- deceit borne of ego.
Also, why blame Northern politicians when Southern politicians can never get their house in order? When southern politicians in APC started the crusade to ensure the party ticket comes south, whether by hook or crook, did they not get it? Northern politicians exploit the fault lines created by the greed of their southern counterpart. You can't blame them for that.
It is the same fault lines Wike is exploiting now. The man has no concrete plans for 2027, that much I can confidently tell you. He just wants to have the PDP structure in his grasp while being very knowledgeable of the inner workings of the APC.

Trust me, that man is anything but confused. He learnt his lessons in the last PDP primaries and has decided to be the center piece of strategy (Queen) on the chess board.

so a fake lawyer defeated 26 authentic lawyers .

Those 26 authentic lawyers should be arrested and jailed instead.
I've always maintained that the legal practice has nothing unique about it. It's an erroneously overrated profession.

It's very much like becoming a pastor and owning a church. Just study the bible in its entirety, have a compelling tongue with a mastery of the requisite language and you're as good as someone who went to a school of theology.

Same applies to law. Be objective, convincing and persistent in arguments, read law related texts and documents and have a decent knowledge of the constitution. You're as good as that idiotic SAN who's heading the aviation ministry.

The nigga in this context has won more cases than Festus Keyamo has ever attempted in his entire legal career.

Pdp should pick yele sowore as their national chairman. He is good choice. Competent to give excellent leadership. He has the capacity to turn pdp to ruling party.
Flush this reasoning down the drain. Sowore is a featherweight in Nigeria's politics. Even in his council area, he is of no significance.

Well, that makes PDP an appendage of the APC then.
Wike cannot work for APC to the extent he has and still claim to be the leader of the opposition.
That's a joke and kolewerk
😂.
But it's already working.

Quite honestly, I like what Wike is doing. For too long, Northern politicians have held political monopoly to the point they have outsmarted the rest of the country, sabotaging wherever they feel the need to and brandishing double standards to their convenience, all in a bid to protect their own interests.

Nyesom Wike is changing the status quo. Working in the APC government and holding the PDP in his grasp. It is unprecedented in our recent history and any Southerner who feels he or she is too enlightened to that effect, is going to be treated as a traitor.

Two can play the game! And Wike is playing it just how we like it. It's not only Tambuwal who is capable of being a fox in our politics. Let Wike dig into the core of the APC while having a solid stance in the PDP. He is representing the sentiments of the average Southerners who have been shortchanged for too long in the Nigerian political landscape.

It's a BLASTED LIE.

If war-torn Libya where people are eating SHIIT and getting shot daily by criminal jihadist warlords has a life expectancy of 73 years, then Nigeria has something very close to them if not higher, not that nonsensical 52 years or whatever rubbish they claim is our life expectancy.
Your description of the Libyan situation is an uncomfortable exaggeration. Have you been to Libya to see people eating shit? Or have you any documented evidence to that effect?

Barring human-induced hazardous circumstances such as the war situation in Libya, that country has long had way more palatable existential indices than Nigeria, and everyone knows this. And the data that supports studies such as life expectancy, isn't collected over a period of five or eight years.

I'm hoping you can connects my dots to understand where I'm driving at with those two paragraphs above.

I do FX transactions at least once a week. I monitor exchange rates windows on a daily basis. But my individual transactions are not a teller as to the abundance of FX in our system or otherwise.

Now that the banned goods have been restored, the government should now focus on increasing funding to the I & E market/window, so that those who need foreign currency for serious business/purpose are well served.

If people want to exchange naira for dollars at N5000 to $1 on the black market, it is up to them. Government has no control over that market.
Your first and second paragraphs are contradictory.

Government cannot increase funding to the I&E window except FDIs flow in immediately or BDCs are eliminated. The CBN does not print dollar notes. Foreign investors can bring them in and that translates to an injection of that FX into the official window for importers to access.

OR, Bureau De Change merchants can be eliminated from the system so they can push their FX to the official channels and boost our FX reserve. You cannot say government can ignore BDCs and their rates and then expect same government to magically inject FX into the official CBN determined window.

Must you always complain? Besides,he's just the ceremonial head.the real authority is the md from your south east.give him kudos for appointing youths
This is not about complaints. A mechanical engineer has no business chairing FERMA, which should be the sole prerogative of a civil engineer. Whether he's a youth or a ceremonial head counts for shit. As the chairman, he is supposed to be the voice of authority in that agency and his inputs have to stem from academic knowledge or the technical know-how.

I am 90 percent certain this appointment is a gift of gratitude to someone and not because Tinubu found merit in the young man. Do you know the litany of overly experienced and qualified Civil Engineers we have in Nigeria duly certified by COREN?!

Let's stop celebrating anomalies!

Then your use of the appendage "hungry looking" was misplaced. A man like Deji Adeleke can "look sick" and we'll all understand that we don't know his health status enough to make that judgement. But suggesting he is looking hungry is extremely demeaning.
