Romance › Why You Should Be Kinder To Strangers by Boldwinner(op): 8:17pm On Jan 04, 2017 |
One day after seeing a movie at the Cinema, I went out with some friends to a popular restaurant. As we took our seats and made towards the counter to place our orders, I noticed one young lady who was attending to the customers and serving them their meals.
She was well dressed, neat, smart looking and attractive. However, one thing was missing from her, she wasn't smiling. She was attending to the customers in a melancholic manner. So, we waited until she was done, then she came to attend to us.
When she came to us and asked for our orders, I wanted to immediately tell her what we wanted just like every other customer before us, but instead I smiled at her and quickly noticed the name "Victoria" written on her crest.
I asked her, "Is your name Victoria?" "Yes," she answered with a genuine smile. "You've got such a nice name," I continued "Where are you from?" .. She told me and she also asked for my name too with a beautiful smile. I told her too and then we placed our orders.
I observed that she became visibly happier after our brief conversation - the way she carefully served our food and attended to us said it all. The smile hardly left her face after that. There seemed to be a new charisma with the way she attended to other customers after that.
Then I began to wonder.. What if I never bothered about this girl or spoke to her? What if I just placed my order without caring about her? Would that smile be on her face now?
Sometimes, what people need from you to change their attitude and disposition is simply a kind word or genuine care about them. It's not necessarily all about money or material things. A reassuring smile or a mild conversation can do a lot.
We've become so accustomed to only our family and friends that every other person becomes an alien to us. We don't care for strangers. And I think that's why some problems facing us are still prevalent.
A stranger is a human being like you who wants the same things you desire as a human being. Just as you need people to care about you, love you or appreciate what you do, a stranger needs the same reassurance as well.
See that stranger out there as someone like you. Try and make him/her happy in the little way you can. You may be saving a life or even stop someone from carrying out a bad mission.
Psychologically, some people are often driven to do dangerous things when they feel unloved OR uncared for. Help that stranger in any little way you can and try to make him/her feel at home.
I understand that our human nature wants us to do things usually for personal interest, profit or gain. This is not bad. By all means, your personal interests really matters and must never be neglected, but sometimes we must try to do things without expectation. Let us learn to do things just for the sake of another person. Saying a kind word, smiling or helping a stranger out doesn't take away anything from you. Why not just do so?
I was on a bike with a commercial motorcyclist and I just asked him about how his day had been. He was so happy to tell me about his experiences as a motorcyclist and I could sense the excitement in his voice. When I got to my destination, he decided to collect less than the amount he charged me. He smiled at me and said he likes my attitude. I was really touched.
We can make the world a better place by being kinder to strangers. They are not different from us as we have come to believe. They are human beings with needs just like you. Try putting yourself in their shoes and you will understand their needs.
Be kind to a stranger today. You could touch a life, change someone's decision, stop a robbery or terrorist attack, prevent suicide, improve work ethics etc
This is the attitude a winner must imbibe.. being kind not just to only family and friends, but also strangers.
Keep Winning! source: http://www.boldwinner.com/2017/01/why-you-should-be-kinder-to-strangers.html?m=1

Christianity Etc › Are You Just Waiting To Die And Go To Heaven? (must Read) by Boldwinner(op): 1:44pm On Nov 21, 2016 |
Many people desire to go to heaven when they die. "Heaven is a perfect place where you have anything you want," they say. It is a good ideal and I'm not against it. My question to every one of them is: "Since you're still alive here on earth, why not make this world a better place?"
The way I see it, most people are just waiting to die and go to this perfect place. Most of them have given up on life and console themselves with the promise of heaven. They don't want to have anything to do with this earth. "The earth is corrupt and must be destroyed," they say.
These people are mostly poor people who see themselves as "nice and good" and they claim to be guaranteed of heaven because they are saints on earth who have not committed any sin.
I have no business with how they see themselves anyway, but I want to ask, "Why not enjoy your stay on both sides?" "Why not make attempts to make this world better for yourself and your children?" "Why fold your arms and wait for it to be destroyed, so you can escape to heaven?"
The "end time" story is being preached almost everywhere. People have come to strongly believe that the world is coming to an end anytime soon. Therefore, they leave things as they are and make no effort to make their world a better place, all are waiting for the world to be destroyed just like millions of others have waited and died.
Let me ask the question: "Is it that God Almighty, the creator and master of all things, brought us into this world just for us to escape it by doing nothing here but claim to be good and wait for heaven?" "Is it that we human beings have no business with this earth?" "Are were here to joke and wait for heaven? "
I believe that God, in his infinite wisdom, has brought us into this world for a purpose here. There is greater purpose for which he created us and put us here. I don't think he created us, just for the purpose of seeing us die and come to heaven to see him. What's the point of coming here then?
I think God has put us here to solve the problems that life has presented us with. We have a problem to solve here on earth, which only us can solve very well. People are ignoring that calling and have failed to discover it because they've given up on the world and they wait to escape into heaven.
I think it's laziness to come into this world, complain about everything, do nothing, claim to be a good person, then wait to die and go to heaven. I don't think God will be happy with anybody who dies like that.
Look, we are all here to do what we can do to improve this world and then leave. When we leave, we can at least be proud to meet God in heaven and talk to him about the little things we tried to do. I think God will be glad to hear our stories than when we enter into heaven just under the name of being "good people who never sinned."
These were just my thoughts this early morning. I hope you're inspired to discover your mission here and go for it. Don't just wait to die and go to heaven. We can build this heaven on earth here, if all of us respond to our different calls to solve our problems.
Love and Peace. source: http://www.boldwinner.com/2016/11/are-you-simply-waiting-to-die-and-go-to.html |
Nairaland General › What It Means To Be Positive by Boldwinner(op): 7:21am On Nov 20, 2016 |
"I'm positive that I'd be rich," "I believe I will excel in whatever I do," "I believe I'd be a president," "I believe I will be a great speaker," these are positive words, but simply saying them will not make these wishes come to pass. A lot of New Age information going around tells people that they should simply visualise and think about whatever they want and they'll be attracting it to themselves. Taking this information literally will only lead to disappointments and frustration. It's wonderful to want to be described as positive individuals, but do we really know what that means? Being positive is much more than just thinking, visualization and believing. There is more to it than some people probably think. No matter how hard I sit here and visualize money, it's not going to magically appear. The actions I take is what brings money to me physically. Being positive should actually go beyond our mental positions and flow into actions. Your positivity should be a motivating factor to urge you on in any activity you are pursuing. Being positive means continuing to WORK and put in our best in our ACTIONS even when we face challenges. Somehow, your thinking actually creates the outcome you desire; however, it doesn't do it directly. It does it indirectly by strongly inspiring you to keep on taking consistent action; which then creates the results. It's not a direct process as misunderstood by most New age visualization therapists and law of attraction believers claim. The process goes: thinking, action and then results. The three always exist together and in the same sync. Therefore, being positive is both a mental and physical process that involves our thought behaviours and must be followed by active behaviours. In my own words, all thoughts and no actions, makes Jack a loser. A loser is one who doesn't achieve results. A loser can change to a winner by following the simple process... Think, act and get your results. Hope this helps someone. source: http://www.boldwinner.com/2016/11/what-it-means-to-be-positive.html

Romance › Learn From This... by Boldwinner(op): 6:19pm On Oct 18, 2016 |
THE BEAUTIFUL MIND OF A CHILD When a child is born, the mind is very pure, untainted, unbiased. The mind is described as 'Tabular rasa' according to Francis Bacon. . Nothing clutters this beautiful, natural and endowed mind. That's why children are very inquisitive. The way the look at your face for a long period of time says it all. Even the way they play. . Have you really observed little children play? That's the most beautiful thing to see. Just make sure they don't know you're watching them and observe how creative these minds can be. . I had the opportunity to see that again recently. The way they played, the way they made creative suggestions from their wild imaginations and the way they easily forgave one another in the event of a mistake was lovely. . They are so happy and full of vitality. Their smiles, their laughter and their movement are all so genuine. One who has a free mind is bound to always laugh and be happy. There is no obstruction to his/her joy. . Children are naturally blessed to experience the beauty of life and living in the present moment. But soon they start growing up and the society together with parental upbringing starts to condition these minds. . They are no more allowed to experience life, they start accepting unverified knowledge from the older ones. They start accumulating knowledge without any opportunity to verify it. Their pure minds gradually become cluttered. . They are given lectures on the people to hate and the people to love. They are told not to play with certain children for no reason. Some are told that their uncles and aunts want them killed. So these young minds start to entertain fears. And when there is fear, a mind naturally begins to shrink. . When a mind begins to shrink, there is a tendency for one to become totally selfish. The tendency to be unforgiving and hateful also comes with it. And this is how that innocent child's mind becomes endangered. In the process his body grows, but his mind has been poisoned. . Jesus Christ was not mistaken when he said "Be Ye like little Children." He liked children coming to him because he saw how free minded these children were. They've not 'known' evil like the adults have known. It was easier for them to learn. . It is not like that for most of the so called adults. They claim to have known too much. When you know too much, of course the mind would become closed because there is no room to experience the new. They just know things for sure. No room for any knowledge. . We have come to a time where we need to verify everything we had once learnt to accept as true without questioning. Most of these things have created problems for us and even made us a part of a problem we never created. . We need to once again become like children in terms of the mind. Our minds function best when it is free to think and act without all the negative things we have grown to clutter inside it. . Let Your mind be open once again to look at things from different perspectives and make free unbiased conclusions. Let us stop being mechanical and claiming to know what we do not even know. 'Knowledge could be dangerous' if we just accept it without trying to apply it and find out results. . My next articles will be on 'when knowledge becomes dangerous' and ' value of applied knowledge'. I hope you'd read them. You'll find them very useful in making you rethink the value of Knowledge. . When our minds are free of mental poisons, we are in the best position to take decisions and actions that will be in the best interest of everyone. We will once again be open to really love one another and see the stupidity in living with hatred in our hearts. . Let our minds be like that of Children. . Till next time, . Politics › Why We Must Be Interested In Politics by Boldwinner(op): 1:00pm On Oct 16, 2016 |
A country which has the right political systems in place is a country poised towards greatness. No country can go far with bad politics.
Most people would love to write off politics. They don't care about it. They don't care about who rules them. To these people, all politicians are corrupt and evil and nothing can change that.
Their minds are made up about politics and the state of affairs of their nation. More and more people are buying into this idea and are becoming indifferent to politics.
"What can we do?" They often ask. Look at what's happening so far with all our indifference and optimism. Things are getting worse and more inappropriate persons have the opportunity to rule you because you don't care about politics.
When the wrong people rule you, whether you like it or not, you suffer and your children too will suffer. Yes, we all will like to believe that somehow we will become so rich that whatever happens in the country cannot affect us.
Let's look at the reality; many people are probably thinking the same thing. How many people have successfully done that? Majority of people who also wish to be that rich are hit hard by the situation of things and mechanism operating in the economy.
No matter how we want to see it, economy is affecting us all. Why? Bad management. Developed countries keep enjoying fresh opportunities because their government has put mechanisms in place to generate such. They've set up wonderful systems in their countries to provide for their citizens and their upcoming generation.
We cannot turn a blind eye to our own government. We cannot hope for things to get better and still not care about politics. Genuine interest in politics is a must if we are to ever get credible, intelligent, devoted and smart leaders who will rule our nation and put good mechanisms in place for the masses.
There has to be an increased awareness in our people on who's who in government. The voices of the people must once again rise and be recognized for that is the true goal of democracy. The people are gradually becoming silent and indifferent and this isn't what is meant to be.
Corruption and bad governance have come to stay because the people allowed it. If the people hadn't allowed it and come out in unison to choose our leaders not based on our differences or sentiments, but based on a common commitment to elect credible, proven, and able leaders, we wouldn't be in this mess.
It is still in our hands to turn this nation around. To turn it around, we have to understand that we're all in this together. You don't want to just hope on becoming rich while your country continues to suffer. If we all work together to rebuild this country, we will all enjoy the benefits we are currently missing.
Yes, you're right when you ask what the country has done for you and why you should care. You are right when you claim the country has not been supportive. You are right when you claim your rights have been trampled upon. But I want you to remember that these things happened because we the people allowed it to by not choosing the right persons.
Good things are a by product of good leadership, management and accountability which can only come from credible leaders. Therefore, the time has come for us all to join hands together irrespective of tribe, race, sentiment or religion and work together as one with renewed awareness in our political systems.
The eyes of the people have to be opened beyond sentiments to see what is really going on in our leadership. No one should turn a blind eye to it. It is obvious that the choice to do that has complicated our problems. Instead, we should make another choice to be actively involved in this nation's politics, every single one of us.
This is a critical period in our country and there is no better time for the people to work as one than now. Let's do this for the sake of our children, for sake of a greater Nigeria in Future. Let us leave a legacy of a better nation for our kids. If we don't do it now, they will inherit a terrible nation from us and they will curse us for not doing anything about it.
Forget about our differences. Whatever tribe you come from, whatever religion you practice, whatever political party you support, let us respect each other for once! For sake of the future we seek and the younger generation, let us put aside our differences and come together as one people. Let the labours of our heroes past not be in vain.
Nigeria is a great country. Divisive forces are trying to break us apart, but let us put these things aside and become one again, then collectively we can rebuild our country to its greatness. Every tribe Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba all have wonderful and talented people in them.
We are not trying to prove which tribe is better than the other or which tribe is smarter or which tribe should rule. We are not in competition. We are all part of ONE country and as such our efforts should be collectively channelled to making our country great.
It is these sudden division among our tribes that is causing things to get worse. We have failed to recognize our oneness and we have started fighting ourselves politically and otherwise. Things are bound to get worse if we continue this way.
This is a clarion call to all of you. Let us look at our political system clearly without prejudice, find out what's wrong and join hands to collectively solve it. Let us respect each other and unite to make our country better than it currently is. May God help us all as we resolve to do so. source: www.boldwinner.com

Literature › Life Rewards The Bold And Courageous by Boldwinner(op): 3:01pm On Oct 09, 2016 |
LIVE BOLD AND BLOOM I learnt about a man, who was making a presentation to young adults at a seminar. Towards the end of his speech, he brought a $100 bill and told his audience that he would give out the money to one of them.
He continued, "This money will be given to one of you who really wants it. " "So which of you really wants this money? "
Lots of the young persons listening to him raised up their hands in lightening speeds. Some others waved two hands while a few of them stood up also raising their hands.
But then, there was this young girl that did something different. While others people were busy screaming, standing and raising up their hands waiting to be given the money, this girl made a very bold move.
She quickly ran up to the stage where the speaker was standing and took the money from his hand. The speaker paused for a bit and looked at her, then he smiled and said "You've proven to be the one who really wanted the money." "It's all yours."
Other people started talking(which they will always do when you're progressing) ... Why did she have to go up to the stage and not raise her hand like everyone else? Why didn't she wait for speaker to select randomly from the crowd? Bla bla bla...
All these things were mere rantings. The point is that the young girl is going home with $100 and nothing else can change that.
You don't have to wait for something to be given to you. You don't have to wait to express your God given uniqueness and talents. You mustn't wait for anything.
If you're bold and courageous, you'll realise that you can have everything you need and it is very much within your grasp. But Fear has always been your enemy. You are too afraid and that's why you've not seen that you have these things yet.
Think about this for a moment. I wonder what the life of Nelson Mandela would've been like if he listened to those who tried to stop him from fighting segregation.
What if he wasn't bold enough to express his feelings against apartheid? Would he have been president? Would he have gained recognition the way he had?
What if Bob Marley was afraid to produce his music? What if he was concerned about the content of the political message passed to the audience through his songs? Would anyone have known him?
What about others like Martin Luther King and Oprah Winfrey? What would be said about their lives if they were not bold enough to express what they truly felt?
The answer is nothing! If these people were afraid of being themselves and doing what they had to do, nobody would've cared about their existence. They would've lived and died without contributing much to society just like many others.
Often times, you may wonder why you're stuck in the same place. Why are you not making progress? What is keeping you from succeeding?
It's fear, fear and fear! You're afraid of what people think. You're afraid of being killed(Forgetting that you're gonna still die anyway). You're afraid to go against what majority of people think. Baseless and unfounded fear to be true to yourself.
You have been hiding your true self because you want to fit into the 'normal' category. Here's the thing: No one ever achieved anything reasonable by being normal, average or regular.
You go beyond normality to become extraordinary. And it is only when you have gone beyond normal that you can make significant progress which doesn't just benefit you, but inspires and benefits every other person around you.
Keep Winning Boldly!

Romance › Don't Settle For Less by Boldwinner(op): 9:50am On Oct 09, 2016 |
I've heard it from a large number of people. "Manage" "Make do with what you have" "Live your life in this particular way" "Things are tough, so drop your lofty dreams and settle for less".
Things like these are said everyday to different people around the world. Everyday you're told to manage and settle for things you don't want because life is not a bed of roses.
You start listening to them and you take up the job you know you clearly hate. You study the course you don't like. You marry the person you don't want to, because you think it's impossible to find the person you want.
You start settling for average things instead of continuing to pursue those things that your heart really yearns for.
Guess what? You start getting these inferior things. You become stuck with that job. You find yourself studying a course you don't like. You find yourself living your entire life with a partner you never really loved.
And when you're stuck with these things, you become unhappy because this is not what you wanted out of your life. You're forced to now manage forever because you listened to others and settled for less.
If you're like me, I believe you don't want to live the rest of your life unhappy. I believe that you believe in yourself and you have faith that you can get what you really want out of life.
Whoever is telling you to settle for anything lesser than what you truly want is trying to put you in a prison where unhappy people live.
I'm not saying you shouldn't take advice at all. Advice is good, but you are the One who ultimately decides whether to accept them or not. Only accept them when you truly feel it is the right thing to do.
Don't take advice out of fear or peer pressure. Take advice because it really vibrates with your spirit. Very few people have the capacity to give you such advice. The majority will give you mediocre advice targeted at making you live a boring, unhappy and average life.
You should not listen to them. Follow your heart. Believe in God and believe that you will get what you want. Work steadily towards it and someday your dream will stare you right in the face.
Until next time, Keep winning! source: http://www.boldwinner.com/2016/10/dont-settle-for-less.html

Romance › A Lesson From A Game Of Darts by Boldwinner(op): 10:54am On Oct 02, 2016 |
I learnt something from playing a game of darts yesterday. It's amazing how simple things like that teach us life lessons if we really get the message. . I wasn't used to playing darts always, so when I decided to play it again with some friends yesterday after a long period of time, I seriously got worse at aiming. . I wondered what the problem was and why I often missed. I'm naturally a very persistent person, so I decided that I will continue playing until I achieved my target which was to not miss any of the 8 darts I threw at the target board. . I tried many times and it was difficult to achieve that. I had to start over anytime I missed. In The Course of these attempts, I discovered something. . My mind was focused on perfectly gripping the dart and positioning myself well. I was often too conscious of holding the dart that I overlooked where my target was. . I was trying to throw the dart with the perfect grip and the perfect stance. But all the needless worry about perfection clouded my mind. . Then I decided to forget about being perfect in playing. I didn't want to throw with any perfect style. I proceeded to throw my dart effortlessly with only the target in focus. . Guess what? I threw 1, 2, 3, 4 …..8 darts without missing none of them. I smiled for certain and I saw the futility in trying to be too perfect. . All I needed to do was forget about the steps and just throw my dart while focusing on the board. That's all I had to do. . But you see, I often missed because I was concentrating on something that didn't even matter. . Those who discovered the best grips and postures to play darts discovered it out of their frequent and natural play. . They didn't try to fit in. They just played naturally and discovered the new styles you're trying to copy. . Being yourself is often best. This is not to say that one should not emulate best practices from experts. We must understand that the emulations should not be our only way. We must be free to try different things naturally by ourselves. . That gives us the chance to discover our own peculiar style which may not have been discovered yet. . So, forget about always being as perfect as another. Just do what you can do naturally while maintaining focus on your objectives. . The results will amaze you. . Keep Winning! source: http://www.boldwinner.com

Romance › Important: Why You Must Focus On The Solution And Not The Problem by Boldwinner(op): 11:18am On Aug 21, 2016 |
FOCUS ON THE SOLUTION, NOT THE PROBLEM I think the reason why the problems we face in life stick around for too long is that we focus too much on them instead of focusing on their solutions.
If I want to solve a math question, I don't stay there lamenting about how large the question is or how difficult it looks or how lengthy the process to solve it entails. I only look at the question to understand it and pick out variables to work with, then I get to work.
Once I've done that, I forget about the problem and simply start solving it. The only condition for the problem to be solved is that I start solving it.
Every problem in this world has it's own unique variables and can be understood. If you look hard enough, you will see all of them.
The only time we should spend on any of our problems is to properly understand it and pick out the variables we'd work with. After that, we have no more business with the question once we've started solving.
Some problems may seem too large and difficult for anyone of us to solve. Some may seem very hopeless, tedious and tiring, but the only thing that counts and gives us hope for positive change is our little attempts to solve it.
Some problems need everyone of us to contribute. Some others just need experts and experienced hands to solve it, but there are problems which cannot be solved by an individual or a team of experts.
These problems are those related to the broader concerns of all humanity and needs every one of us to solve a part of it.
Don't think that these problems which involve all of us human beings should be solved by only you or by any single person.
If you think of it that way, you will give up easily because these problems concern life itself. Neither should you expect someone else to solve it when you alone cannot.
Our only hope to solve these very large problems facing us is to understand it this way: You are holding a part of the solution to that problem. Yes, the problem is huge, but if you solve your part, I solve my part and everyone solves their part, the pieces will one day be put together and we'd find out the big problem is solved.
What happens then if you think that you can do nothing about it or think that the situation is hopeless, or wait for somebody to solve it? The answer is that you don't solve your part. And not solving your part creates problems for everybody else.
On the grand scale, you're not helping matters change because it might be the part that you're meant to solve that will inspire millions of other people to solve theirs.
Your contribution might just be what another person is waiting for so he/she can commence solving. You may just be the only one who can continue solving from where someone else has stopped.
You see how important your little effort to solve it could be and how dangerous deciding to give up could be?
To still focus on the problem or work on the solution?
The answer is up to you. source: http://www.boldwinner.com/2016/08/focus-on-solution-and-not-problem.html |

Romance › 8 Ways To Develop A Good Mental Attitude by Boldwinner(op): 10:15am On Aug 15, 2016 |
This article was originally posted by me as a guest post on the website www.pickthebrain.com . Here are eight ways to develop a strong mental attitude:
1. Love Yourself The Way You Are
This seems so obvious but very difficult for most people to do. Most people hate themselves and their lives. They hate their looks, their jobs, their country and sometimes life itself. This attitude greatly affects their outlook on life and they see negativity in everything. This is simply because they've not accepted their realities. You have to love yourself the way you are and accept whatever life has dealt you. Accepting yourself enables you to stop feeling sorry about yourself and take responsibility. Before you can love others genuinely, you must love yourself, your imperfections, your strong points and your life. 2. Never ever call yourself a failure
People who have developed very good mental attitude never see themselves as failures. Even when they try and fail in any activity, they refuse to call themselves failures, but rather learn from their mistake and try again. You must never ever call yourself a failure. It doesn't matter how many times you think you've failed. You must make up your mind to learn, improve and keep trying. Many people will be willing to call you a failure, but you must never say that about yourself. 3. Engage with your environment
To develop good mental attitude, it is important to find time to interact with your surroundings. Even though alone time is important, you have to make out time to be around people, no matter how small. We are social creatures and we're dependent on one another. Don't allow your work or disposition keep you from making out time for friends, family and associates. If you don't have friends, it's very easy time make one, just be there for someone. 4.Don't allow anyone but yourself to control your life
It is important you take absolute control over your life and your situations. Desist from blaming other people, your government or the society for your troubles. Taking control of your life means taking full responsibility, making your own rules and directing your life. When you speak, you must speak your mind and when you want to make a choice, it must be YOUR choice. You should listen to advice from others, but make sure your final decision is something you really want. 5. Always face your fear with Courage
Mentally strong people have formed the habit of facing their worst fears and taking risks. The courage to take a risk alone improves your mental attitude and makes you more alert and aware. Often times, the fears we face are illusory. They only exist in our minds. To develop good mental attitude, you must learn to challenge yourself to face your fears. You either get it right or learn from getting it wrong. Being afraid to try keeps you in the same situation and that doesn't help your mental health. 6. Don't try to please everyone
You have to understand that trying to please everybody is quite impossible here on earth. People will always have different ideas and opinions and there is no way to please one person and not offend the other. Therefore, you should not try to please everyone because that will drain you of precious energy and make you lose direction. Rather you should learn to really listen to yourself and do what you're convinced is right. 7.Stay Present, Don't live in the Past or Future
You must learn to stay in the present moment rather than dwell in the past. A major cause of sadness and depression stems from too much worry over the past or the future. Learn to forget about the past, thinking about it pulls you back and makes you miss opportunities flooding the present. Same thing goes for the future. You waste time worrying about it instead of using the present moment to prepare for it. Let worrying about the past or present go! Let it go! Just use the present to rewrite the past and create the future. 8. Expect Nothing from No One
Yeah, I want you to remember this last line "No one owes you anything!" I repeat "No one here on the planet owes you any damn thing!" Poor mental health is caused by too much expectation from life, people, etc. You shouldn't expect anything from anyone, rather you should take up responsibility in the line of your passion and create value. People with good mental health are creators who offer value to the world not needy people waiting for someone to give them something. Expectation leads to disappointments. You'd rather expect nothing and be surprised at it rather than expect it and not get it. Hope this helps You. source: http://www.boldwinner.com
