I Have lived In The Northern Nigeria over a decade. I Have seen The Good, Bad and The Ugly. Most interstingly, i Love to stick with the Good and Still relate with The Not So pleasant. Aside The pains of The past and present, Nigeria remains a Good place to live Work and play. Our leaders remains a catalyst to Success Or failure. Every decision Taken Speaks volume. My observations living In Northern Nigeria and surroundings depicts high level of pains, rejection, illitracy, poverty and deprivations. These deprivations Are Either self inflicted Or imposed. One Will believe with the massive land and solid miniral resources That Development Can occour easily. But Not So. A key element Believed unimportant, Perhaps on purpose Is people Or HUMAN Development. Lack of human Development has Encouraged Illitracy and poverty. These grave and unseparable friends Have cure . The cure is Education. Nothing more. The more we have educated people, The more We eleminate poverty and backwardness. Now Check this, what has been The priority of leadership In The areas Most affected? You be Shocked. Without educated populace, having the most advanced infrastructure Is worthless. So, educating The people Is key .No amount of alms Or aid giving Or feeding Can elminate poverty. I propose We amend or tear down Our educational System. Its Not helping Everyone.Each peculiar Region Or areas should formulate a System That Works for them. For example, I see No reason Where you Cant Teach a child practical or Development skills In their native language .Lets Teach them In their language where assimilating English Is challenging. Again, The compulsory introduction of Techinical and skill education Will elevate HUMAN development In Northern Nigeria. It Will eradicate poverty Like wild fire. It Will boost agriculture. It Will reduce drugs and crime drastically. It Will encourage peaceful living love and accomodation.IT WILL EMPOWER. The Northern Governors and elite Should encourage This and Make it key priority. Go through history books and Learn damages That those considered nobody Have done to governments. They are Usually gruesome belive me. Hence, i propose That The prority for leaders In Northern Nigeria Should be for HUMAN Development. Techinical and Skill Education for All Can be starting point That Can compete favourably with The regular. Start Now. Its never late
