Politics › Re: "Blame Northern-Nigeria Muslim Elites For Boko Haram" - Bishop Matthew Kukah by Bollinger(m): 10:03am On Nov 30, 2015
Mkmachika:
To some extent I agree with you, considering your previous contribution to a ''fair play'', and your ability to tell your fellow Christians the truth. I agree with you that Islamic elite of the North use Islam to deceive the Northern masses but where you are wrong is that not all Muslims leaders deceive and Christians leaders are also guilty of deception and commercializing Jesus to amazed wealth.

Kukah you compromise your previous nature of telling the truth as how it is when you bring the issue of forced marriage and kidnapping girls by Boko Haram as part of Islam which is totally lie and you knew it but you say it anyway in your attempt to destroy the Image of Islam.

Kukah what will you say about those Catholics who sleep with male children during former Pope? what will you say about those pastors who constantly rape or have sex with their followers in the name of praying for them?

Keep trying Kukah there is no way you can damage the Image of Islam because Allah promise to protect it and Allah is more powerful than you and your likes, Even the Jesus you people worship is a servant to Allah let alone you. So take care.

Ok. Reality is now philosophy. Who cares who's fault it is. The point is the mentality should start moving towards harvesting other sources of revenue. Even in a business model, it is best business practice to diversify in order to generate profits. Abi no be so?

Even though I had to take a break after then and later balanced with the normal entry age,my sister didn't and she would be graduated from the university at 18,and now she's doing very fine. .now tell me what you mean by suffering, except if you think age is a function of general intelligence.
What he means is the kid would pay the price of being brilliant. There is a reason why life is in stages and skipping some stages can be harmful though in most cases not disastrous. More often than not, they become socially awkward and their interpersonal skills are stunted. It doesn't matter nowadays because the geeks are the rock stars of today. Everything is measured by dollar signs. But, that being said, it would be very difficult to measure genius in a country like Nigeria where the educational system is disastrous to say the least. People go to college, but the college never passes through them. Look at the topic for instance. The OP sees it as ok to use "alright" in place of "right". As if they have the same meaning.

Tiwa Savage looked casually chic in denim on denim as she surprised a Konga customer in the ongoing ‘My Yakata dream’ promo.

Tiwa tucked in a light shade of blue denim shirt into a darker shade of denim pants and paired with nude pumps.

She also opted to let her natural hair breathe as she packed it in a ponytail.

There is a tax system in place. Money laundering is rife, so it make it seems like we don't pay tax.
There is no tax system in place, only a semblance of it. Keyword here is "system". When you tax one section and not the other, or when the populace don't have a simplistic understanding of it, then there is a problem. In the west you dare not openly say you don't pay tax in public or to a group of people, they probably would get angry because they do, which means you are cheating them. Which also means that their money is being used to take care of you. They hate that. People are very passionate about taxation in the civilized world. Are you?

Christianity Etc › Re: 26 Signs We Are Living In The End Time! Don't Ignore by Bollinger(m): 8:20am On Nov 29, 2015
DjAndroid:
End Time Delusions: According to bible, in the end times, expect widespread deception, counterfeit miracles, and the appearance of false prophets. Each of these evils will contribute to an atmosphere that will deceive an untold number of people throughout the world. The Antichrist, possibly a charismatic Muslim with a fake Jesus as a sidekick, will convince his followers he is the answer to the world’s problems. Paul tells us that those who become caught in the Antichrist’s web of deceit will be guilty because they freely choose to enjoy evil while denying the truth.

1. False Bible teachers would be money hungry : They would be smooth talkers, have many followers, and slur the Christian faith (2 Peter 2:1-3) See some at: www.fakemessiah.com

2. Homosexuality would be increasingly evident at the end of the age (2 Timothy 3:3)

3. Earthquakes would be in diverse places (Matthew 24:7). The Bible said there shall be "great earthquakes".

4. Stress would be part of living (2 Timothy 3:1)

5. Many wars would erupt (Matthew 24:6)

6. People would forsake the Ten Commandments as a moral code, committing adultery, stealing, lying, and killing (Matthew 24:12)

7. There would be a cold religious system , in denying God's power (2 Timothy 3:5)

8. Men would substitute fantasy in place of Christian truth (2 Timothy 4:4). This is so evident at Christmas when the birth of the Savior is lost behind the myth of Santa Claus.

9. Deadly diseases would be prevalent (Matthew 24:7). The worldwide increase in AIDS deaths is almost inestimable. Over 160,000 Americans die of cancer each year. Another is the issue of Ebola which claimed alot of lives.

10. The fact that God once flooded the earth (the Noahic flood) would be denied (2 Peter 3:5-6). There is a mass of fossil evidence to prove this fact, yet it is flatly ignored by the scientific world because of its uncanny implication.

11. The institution of marriage would be forsaken by many (1 Timothy 4:3)

12. There would be an increase in famines (Matthew 24:7)

13. Vegetarianism would increase (1 Timothy 4:3-4)

14. There would be a cry for peace (1 Thessalonians 5:3)

15. The possession of Jerusalem would be at the center of international turmoil (Zechariah 12:3)

16. Knowledge would increase (Daniel 12:4)

17. There would be hypocrites within the Church (Matthew 13:25-30)

18. There would be an increase of religious cults/false teachers (Matthew 24:11 & 24)

19. The future would seem fearful to many (Luke 21:26)

20. Humanity would become materialistic (2 Timothy 3:4). The love for material things will increase. Cherishing the things of the world.

21. There would be many involved in travel (Daniel 12:4)

22. The Christian Gospel would be preached as a warning to all nations (Matthew 24:14)

23. Jesus said Christians would be hated "for His name's sake" (Matthew 24:9). Recent bombings worldwide has proved this point.

24: And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
(Luke 21:25-26).

25: Youths would become rebellious. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy (2 Timothy 3:2)

26: Men would mock the warning signs of the end of the age saying, "for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation." (2 Peter 3:4). The Bible even reveals their motivation, they love lust (verse 3). They fail to understand that a day to the Lord is as a thousand years to us.

God is not subject to the time that He created. He can flick through time as we flick through the pages of a history book. The reason He seems to be silent, is because He is patiently waiting, not willing that any perish, but that all come to repentance.

Be wise today take a decision!

http://www.bibleprobe.com/end-time-signs.htm
Do you know how long people have been talking/receiving signs about the end of the world? since the day Jesus died on the cross. From the great crusade to the 1st and 2nd world war. From the great plague of 1346 where 70 percent of Europe's population lost their lives to the "black death" to when the aids disease was first discovered. Bro's, stop deceiving yourself. The only "end-time" that will happen is when the Earth is unlucky enough to cross paths with another meteorite. Or, ISIS get's it's hands on a handful of nuclear bombs.

THIS IS THE CHANGE WE CLAMOUR FOR!!!!

CHANGE, THE TANZANIAN WAY
"UPDATES FROM TANZANIA POST ELECTION ACTIVITIES
Last weekend they were opening parliament and there was a state dinner planned for all guests that was going to cost about 300m. President Magulufi cut the budget to 25m and ordered that the rest be taken to buy hospital beds for Muhimbili. They got 300 beds and
mattresses and 600 bedsheets from that money.

On 23rd Nov 2015 he announced that there will be no official ceremonies for Independence Day on 9th December, the money is to be used for more pressing issues and the day should instead be spent cleaning up our environment.

On Saturday 21st Nov 2015 a group of 50 people were about to set off for a tour of commonwealth countries (don’t know for what) but President Magulufi cut that list down to 4 people, saving government 600m in tickets, accommodation and per diems.

No more foreign travel, embassies will take care; if it’s necessary to go, special permission must be sought from him or Chief Secretary.

No more 1st class and business class travel for all officials except President, Vice, and Prime
Minister. No more workshops and seminars in expensive hotels when there are so many ministry board rooms available.

President Magulufi asked how come engineers are given V8s when a pick-up is more suitable for their jobs. No more sitting allowances. How the hell are you paid allowance for a job which you have a monthly salary? That also applies to MP’s.

President Magulufi has literally pressed the reset button; returning Tanzania to default factory settings, because that was the TZ Nyerere left us with.

On the day after he was brought to power, in the morning as State House officials were showing him round he decided to take a walk to ministry of finance, told them to get their act together, asked why some employees weren’t in office (ever since then the traffic jam in mornings has become worse) and ordered TRA to scrap all tax exemptions, everyone must pay taxes especially the big guys.

President Magulufi went to Muhimbili Hospital unannounced and walked through the worst parts that they keep hiding from important visitors. He fired the director, fired the hospital board and ordered that all machines that weren’t working (so that people go to private hospitals owned by some doctors) to be repaired within 2 weeks otherwise he fires even the new director; the machines were repaired in 3 days.

Finally, last week when going to officially open parliament President Magulufi didn’t go by plane, drove the whole 600km from Dar to Dodoma.

President Magulufi has reduced the size of the presidential convoy, even reduced the size of
presidential delegation that travels with him
President Magulufi chose a Prime Minister we haven’t heard of before, a guy with reputation for hard work and no corruption. All the big guys we expected could be PM have been let wondering what hit them. His motto is: Hapa Kazi Tu.
After President Magulufi visited ministry of finance and Muhimbii Hospital without announcing, it is said the ports, (most corrupt, delaying, thieving officials) were all of a sudden the most efficient place. No loads are missing, things are done quickly and that habit of forcing for a bribe so that your container is released is no more.
Oh, they say when he was confirmed as winner people started congratulating him and wanting
to bring gifts to his place he turned them back, saying he will receive all congrats over the phone, nobody should visit him.

All individuals/firms that bought state companies that were privatized but haven’t done anything (20yrs later) are to either revive the industries immediately or hand them back to the government.”
As far as i can tell from the writeup, the President of Tanzania is acting like Fayose. There is a reason a chief executive appoints ministers/secretaries. This is not how things are done. There is no way in hell he can be everywhere at the same time, and he sure as hell cannot/must not do the jobs of the people he appoints. What he is doing is a bandage solution to the real problems in his country. Sounds like Tanzania has the same Problems Nigeria has; a country filled with people with a phucked up mentality. Believe it or not, that is the genesis of Nigeria's problems. The mentality is just too messed up. If it doesn't change, no amount of CHANGE professed by this administration or the next will make a dent in it's fortunes. What he should be doing is first of all have a vision of what he want's. Then ask for status reports of where every ministry is at the moment from independent private auditors. Then the next thing is to give his ministers targets and deadlines. And finally, this is the most important part; HAVE INDEPENDENT INSPECTORS/QUALITY CONTROL/AUDITORS do back checks on a consistent basis to make sure everything is being done in line with the chief executive/ministers vision. This is how it's done everywhere in the developed world. Management should be like clock work and systematic. I remember what my first supervisor ever told me. He said, "a measure of determining how effective you are as a manager is if you are not there anymore, the next person who steps in can understand what you've been doing in a heartbeat and pick up from there". Obviously, there is no system, which is why nothing works.

solomikky:
Hello everyone,I'm just a little confused about a mail I got from an oil company sometimes this year, after going through the three stages of their recruitment process. Please I need someone to advice me on what to do.

It all started with a test, after which I was invited for the first interview, being successful at that interview of course qualified me for the final interview with the MD.We had a brief discussion section that lasted for about fifteen minutes, after which I was confidence that the MD was cool with me,with the thought that,an offer letter would be given to me.

Few months after, regret mails were sent to the unsuccessful candidates but I was excepted, just when I was already thanking God for taking me out of the pains of being jobless,a mail came in and turned my mood to that of the wife of a newly elected U.S president that just lost her husband to a vital accident.

Here goes how the contents look like:

Thanks for your interest in applying for a career with us,we are pleased to inform you that you were successful in our interviews. However,we would keep your profile for future openings as we have met the required numbers of recruitment for this financial year.

I tried to put myself together pretending as if nothing went bad,but sincerely, I really want your opinions on if I should keep hope alive, thinking that one day I'll be called to take up the offer letter or forget the chances I have with the company and count my losses.
The letter explains it all. You are next in line when a new recruitment process begins. But it does not mean you stop searching.

Lol. . .you are right. Germany is nice, clean and organized. Probably the cleanest country in Europe or, i dare say in the world. I hated the cities though, which is why i opted to live in the countryside. Quieter, cleaner, less people and most importantly, ample parking space. Every matter is treated with a kind of sentiment in Nigeria. Nigeria is a secular state, as such everyone has right to practice his own faith. Those who choose to go naked in public are not rebuked for their provocation. Muslims ladies should be allowed to live their modest life everywhere in the globe and be screened like everybody if need be for security reasons. It is only in Nigeria everything is taking overboard. They fought the non- interest banking without any understanding, today non-muslims are the benefiting unlimitedly. Despite Saudi Arabia have their women in purdah, you hypocrites run there for economical reason, Dubai is not far from your leg and yet there are Muslims and use this hijab. What make it difference in Nigeria?
The difference is suicide bombers are not blowing people up in Dubai. If they were, i guarantee they would have the ban in place just like they do now in france. One has to adapt to the security situation in your environment. It is easy for you to comment in the comfort of your home, away from harm. I wonder if you'll have the same opinion if you were living in Maiduguri.
