VampireeM: Indeed this govt is a Mouthaction govt that thrives on Lies and Propaganda... What was APC thinking when they promised to wipe BH by dec? Now its May 2016.. Soon it will be we should give them till 2023... Lie Mohammed must be high on foolishness to make that statement about bombing continuing. Imagine a govt that doesnt ve any mapped out plan on how to tackle terrorism telling us May meanwhile they ve no clue on the next line of action to take. APC is indeed worse than PDP It is not the government's fault. It is yours for believing it in the first place. I have been shouting myself hoarse since when buhari first promised Nigerians that he would pay 5k to unemployed Nigerians and defeat BH by december. Both can never come true with the way Nigeria is at the moment. Terrorism cannot be defeated by brute force because it is an idea. Change the mindset of the people involved and you might have a chance. Haven't you noticed that it is only people from Northern Nigeria that are part of BH? Why aren't people from the west part of the group. Because the mentality of people from the west is different from the North. |

kd10: You truly made my day with your better grasp of the foundermental problems facing this entrapment called Nigeria as a Nation , Some of us with short memory will swallow it down after watching the tape that The Magnitude of the Corruption is about last Adminstration but no that is not the Case Rather is about the System we Operate in this Banana republic Since the Regional System was destroyed by The Evil Military Juntas so died Accountability to the masses & Nigeria become a sinking ship to any politician that find it self in leadership position to loot theTreasury & salvage anything they can before the Ship Capsize , these are the mind set of the average Nigerian public Office holder till date because no Strong System in place to Challenge them for Accountability , Former Delta State Governor was Aquited by our Courts if not for Britain he will be walking free today making speeches here & there like Obj, Atiku, Abdusalami, IBB, Tinunbu , Saraki & all the fomer petroleum ministers Even Sanusi as Governor of CBN Misaprioprated funds during his tenure but because of our weak system he is playing Saints today but not many of us that gullible , Fortunately for them our system with a failed military constitution is in coma state if not all this past Leaders Buhari included Suppose to be cooling there hills in a long term jail sentences. Am also Happy that American report cited one Northern State as case study to show how corruption has destroyed us because 56yrs of Independence the North has ruled this country for than forty two years with nothing to show for it so the Big Question is Where is the all the Oil money gone to?Amazingly though all public Officers / political elite that entrenched corruption in this country are still the ones in this current Government so is there any real political will to fight corruption at all ? To the me the answer is No because our legal system is dead Riddled with corruption & the only solution to fight Corruption is to go back to regional System or True Fiscal Federalism because our foundation of 1914 is Faulty & that Breaths Corruption. May God Help Us . There are only two solutions. a) A revolution , which I don't really subscribe to because it can easily be hijacked by lunatics. b) Do what Ghana did; Round Up all the the past leaders and eliminate them staring with OBJ. |

If for some reason you all don't understand the moral of the story it is that all of you are corrupt. It is ingrained in your psyche. It is in your blood. It is no fault of yours, it is the fault of the system in Nigeria. Deep down, we all have dark thoughts and desires but what holds us back from acting on those thoughts and desires is the fear of consequences. There are none in Nigeria. None whatsoever. Do you think people in America are saints? Definitely not. But, they know committing a crime comes with heavy consequences and apart from that, the system will hunt you down, all the way to the ends of the earth until they get you. In Nigeria, you can pretty much kill someone in one state and move to another and live a comfortable life if you can afford it. There are no consequences for actions in Nigeria which is a disgrace. |

LogoDWhiz: Just listen to yourself.
Which system is not in place?
You mean people don't offer advice to Buhari? You mean they don't have his contact(s)? You mean they can't write him a letter?
Or which other system are you talking about? Like in the case of Ekiti. What credentials does the traditional ruler have to advice fayose to take the ssg back aside that he is a traditional ruler and probably old? In normal societies, there are regulations and policies guiding matters of state. These regulations guide every aspect of an administration so, as in the case of the ssg, he/she would have contravened one of them and the said regulations would have guidelines on how such situations are dealt with. So there would be no need for people begging anybody. That is the system i am talking about. Nigeria has a long way to go. This man know man, family business mentality needs to end. |

If any of you reading this does not take that prediction seriously, I do, and here is why. I know Obasanjo arguably better than most of you reading this. Obasanjo has remained an enigma for all of the years I have been knowing him. I came to know Obasanjo serving in the Corps of Engineers and I fully understood how he came to replace Benjamin Adekunle the black scorpion as the Commanding Officer of the Third Marine Commando who eventually ended the Biafran War for Nigeria. I was privileged to read classified materials in my capacity as Assistant Secretary and I took mental note of all important documents that passed thru my desk as a historian and a very inquisitive mind. I was 26 at the time and my mind was very sharp. There is no greater wizard and tactician than Obasanjo even though his look and persona would make you think of him as a light weight." It is always funny to me when Nigerians call evil, corrupt people "an enigma, brilliant, tactician, evil genius, etc". They are just evil and corrupt, period. Nigerian's coin these delicious adjectives in order to quell their helplessness. What can they do but to admire criminality. In normal societies, evil corrupt people are put in jail. Nobody called hitler an enigma. He was a bad man, and everybody came together to put him down. Mystifying people like this only perpetuates their criminality. Also, Obasanjo should know if Nigeria will explode. He lit the fuse. |
