budosky:Lol. I thought the same thing too. I don't know about being a millionaire but, if you want to be very successful, be the subject matter expert at whatever you do. One has to try to be indispensable. Works every time. But he's right in one thing though. Prayers won't do shiit for anyone. In fact it will hold you back. |
fortune1968:My line of thinking is this. It's been what? Half a century of existence and Nigerians can't boast of one decent leader. How is that possible? If we are going to use the rules of probability at least by now it should have happened. Mathmatically, a country which has been in existence for 50 years should have had one good leader. What does this tell us. It tells us that the problem is not Nigeria's leaders but it's citizens. Below is a hypothetical conversation i had with a Nairalander who was blaming his woes on Buhari; Bollinger: |
Vado:So, how is Nigeria's failures buhari's fault? |
Arielle:Abi ooooo. But you are blowing too much grammar for these people . Haven't you heard? Religion favors the unenlightened and uneducated. Which is why it is so easy to hood wink them. |
analize701:Actually, you got it all wrong. Religion came not, but, to steal, to kill and to destroy. Take Religion out of the equation, sprinkle in some common sense and the world will be a safer place to live in. |
Favbolu:It's called Lookout |
Last guy who stole my phone lived to regret it. I always have the Lookout app on any phone i use. One nice feature it has among others is the ability to take a picture of a thief's face. All you have to do to retrieve it is log in to your google account to access it. The cops just strolled to the thief's place using the location device and it was easy to identify him since they had his picture. Turned out to be a 14 year old kid. Team Android for life. |
coolzeal:When it involves a celebrity who deliberately puts his/her personal business out there for everyone to see then it is not cyber bullying. It is the cost of doing business. Only a fool lets everyone know all personal details about themselves. It is akin to a man who deliberately leaves his house unsecured and turns around to complain when his house is burgled. |
SweetPuffPuff:Thought so. Until you blind someone with your color combination. ![]() |
I have to stop responding to brain dead people on NL. |
You see. Morality is relative. Curious that no comment about how the women are sluts. Lol. Nigerians. |
SweetPuffPuff:Wait, is that you cheesy puff? |
Seahawk:Loooooooooooool. |
Seahawk:Now that's the funniest thing i heard all week. For some weird reason, the older i'm getting the more i crave nostalgic memories. I hear it's a common phenomenon amongst old people . You are one lucky maiden. You must have married a man with taste for him to appreciate good music. Extend my regards. ![]() p.s Ask him if he remembers this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suje-CpbmZw |
lilmax:Lol. You are probably 12 years old. Smh. Again that is what spouses do. Guide and complement themselves. Meanwhile, i didn't buy the spyder. Guess what i bought in it's place. A 2003 boxster. Sweet ride. You should get one. Oops. You are unemployed. Sorry. ![]() |
lilmax:Loooooooool. You got that right. Every woman's dream. She also controls my impulses. Makes sure it doesn't go haywire. Last month I wanted a new toy and almost bought a spyder 2017. She talked me out it. "Do we really need it?" She said. That's a spouse right. What did you significant other help you with. I'm pretty sure she hid the last garri in the house make you no finish am. . That's your best and most important possession. ![]() |
majamajic:Are you sure you read her response? Not until she starts shouting "I no be ashawo" in pidgin na. |
lilmax:Lol. I'm every woman's dream. A spouse that complements them. Oh by the way, we are at the grocery store doing some shopping and I relayed your message so she asked me to give the middle finger. Like it? ![]()
|
lilmax:Lol. That's what a hungry child would say. Have you eaten today? Phuck am I saying? To eat you need a job don't you? ![]() |
lilmax:You got that right. Her ambitions set me on the path to success. She makes sure I don't make rash decisions. Which is what a spouse is supposed to do. Now I'm successful. I know your highest ambitions is to find what to eat on a daily basis so you won't understand . |
Edonojie007:Comprehension is your problem . I know you guys are used to marrying kids but where I'm from we dont. ![]() |
lilmax:I had my own place, a car and a job. To me, that was enough to settle down. But because of kids like i said, she wanted to wait. Now your mumu brain wouldn't be able to understand this but if you try hard enough you will . |
cerowo:Wrong answer. It depends on the reason why she said no. Remember, women are supposed to be the ones who do the planning. My wife said no the first time because she knew i wasn't ready financially to take care of a family. She wanted us to wait so that there is no risk of babies being made. That motivated me to get my act together. It's been almost 20 years now. |
emmie14:Actually it got you quite well. You know how i know? You have not debunked comment with anything coherent or tangible. ![]() |
9jakohai:Now we are on the same page. Anything else will be like fetching water with a basket. |
emmie14:It was a trap to lure you in. Now i'm going to ask you a series of questions and i'm going to answer them for you. Me: Why did Nigerians vote for Buhari? You: Because he promised us many things. Me: Did you ask him how he was going to do the things he promised? You: No, but he promised. Me: Really? Ok. Another question. Why do you all keep voting terrible people to lead you? You: Silence. . . . . . . . . . . Guy, the problem is not Buhari. The problem is you. Is Buhari the first Leader in Nigeria? You lot keep supporting corrupt and incompetent individuals to represent you and laughably turn around to complain when they fail you. How ironic is that? |
9jakohai:Here are the real facts. No nation, absolutely none can live, survive or grow at the level of corruption like what exists in Nigeria. Nigerians don't fully understand the depths of how much it has destroyed and continue to destroy the country. It's not just material but psychological as well. There can never be worthwhile policies emanating from these levels of corruption. No matter how good intentioned they may be. |
Nigerians were blaming Buhari for their woes. Weird as phuck. |
emmie14:How exactly is it Buhari's fault? |
9jakohai:The problem with your argument is, Nigeria is an oil producing country. There is no freaking way Nigerians should paying as much as a country that does not have oil. It makes no sense. It is akin to a farmer who has thousands of tubers of yam and decides to go to the market to go buy the same yam he has. Does that make sense to you. That being said, the reason all facets of like life in Nigeria has stalled is because of how corrupt it's people are. Deregulate all you want but if that doesn't change more woes will definitely befall the country. Even the the US subsidises gas prices how much more Nigerians that actually needs it. |
HeyCorleone:It's kinda hard to do. My wife is a makeup artist and being with her this long i know a thing or two. That picture is real. It is extrmely hard to replicate acne. It's possible if you at the level of hollywood standards and expensive to replicate. Think about it; look at nollywood movies. You will always catch horrible makeups. |
Hafsat24:Hehehehehehehehehe. ![]() |
