Hafsat24:Thanks. Lol. Yeah. I like spicy. A lot. And i cooked two soups. The one in the pot takes at least 12 tomatos. And you are right; palm oil reduces how spicy pepper is. |
So, I pissed off my wife again yesterday. Yeah, so what's new? I had to think up something fast or i'd be in the dog house till next year. So i decide to make my (like kenny Ogungbe would say) "world famous " stew for rice and iya basira soup before she came back from work. The focus is on the rice stew. It is one of the fastest stews to make and probably the most delicious you can ever have on your rice. I don't wanna say i invented it but i kinda did . The ingredients you will need are; palm oil, habanero peppers and tomato, thyme, 1 maggi cubes, curry, salt to taste, half a clove of onion, your choice of meats, small dried fish which is optional, uncooked prawns which is also optional, and finally, grounded crayfish. Crayfish is the secret ingredient which makes all this work perfectly. Without it and you might as well be making your regular stew. The quantity of pepper and tomato is dependent on your tolerance for spicy food. I'm a hot kind of guy (pun intended ). The hotter the better. Which means i go with a ratio of 1:1. Yeah. That's how i roll. 1 Pepper to one tomato. If you don't like spicy foods you might go with a 2:1/3:1 ratio. I usually use 4 tomatos and 4 pepper. What you wanna do is chop up the pepper, tomato, onion with a knife and set aside. Cook your meat and cut into small chops. Now to prepare the base. Bleed your oil in a pot or frying pan. Try not to drown the ingredients in a sea of redness. It must be enough to cook the stew but not so much as to destroy the deliciousness. Add half of the chopped onions until it it caramelized. Now add your meat/ponmo, prawns, and the small dried fish. Leave it till the meat is fried and then add the pepper and tomato. Immediately add your thyme and curry also. Now start stirring. Keep stirring till you see evidence of the pepper and tomatos getting soft and it's almost halfway done. This is when you add the ground crayfish and maggi cubes. I usually use a one and half table spoon full of it. Once you do that you will immediately witness a thing of beauty. The stew darkens in almost an ayamaseish (yeah. you heard that right; ayamaseish ) kinda way. The second thing you will notice is the aroma that fills the kitchen. The aroma will be strong and filled with delicious possibilities. All you do now is keep stirring till you feel the stew starting to stick to the bottom of the pot. And that's it. Needless to say i was forgiven and handsomely rewarded. The stew is perfect for students who don't really have time. Apart from cooking the meat, the whole process is like 10 minutes. If that. It was so fast that as i was cooking it, i was also cooking my "world famous" iya basira stew. Yeah, It's that fast.Cococandy, you remember this one? Stumbled on them yesterday. Again, it brought back some serious memories. You gotta love those jeans lol. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gKH7Lm4IXM

Futureberry:Oh yes you are right. But i find it interesting the way you expertly changed the dimension of your argument after i shot you down the first time . First it was that the punishment i suggested was too inhumane for a rapist, to now "proven to be guilty before been crucified" . Which i agree with by the way. Nice. You be true Nigerian. Wedon sir. That been said, knowing how Nigerians are as per their attitude towards rape, this is a slam dunk. But of course the courts and evidence will have to decide eventually. But you dance better than Micheal Jackson. ![]() |
Futureberry:Again, did you read the correspondence between him and the girl or you don't know how to comprehend words and intent? |
Futureberry:Bros, did you read the transcript of the text messages between him and the girl? He pretty much convicted himself. If a girl accuses me of rape, i would be proffering my innocence in the strongest terms. Meanwhile, he is making light of the situation and making jest of it because he never thought the police would get involved. And you can go through all my post and show me where i have ever supported JJ. I am used to it with you people so there is not need trying to lecture children. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. You people sha. |
Futureberry:Lol. Ignorance. At least research and read. What will happen is; 1. You can never live freely anywhere children are. You have to register in any area you want to live so that everyone knows you are a sex offender. 2. Whatever job you apply for, you have to let them know that you are rapist. 3. Your landlord has to know that you are rapist. You see. No killing but essentially, you are screwed till the day the die. They are not animals like you lot. They don't believe in Jungle justice. So, tell me what is sickening in that? I know you applaud rapist everywhere in Nigeria but what would you do? |
Futureberry:Quote where i said that. But what will happen to you you'd wish you were dead. |
HeyCorleone:Like I said, spoken like a true Nigerian. Use the fact that she is a gold digger as an excuse in the US and see what happens to you. The way Nigerians think scares the phuck outta me. Smh. |
HeyCorleone:Obviously what the world considers rape does not apply to Nigerians. Did the read the full transcript of the text messages at all? When a woman says no, guess what? It means no. He's lucky he didn't do it in the US. That would have meant the end of his life as he knows it. What a people. Smh |
HeyCorleone:The sad part is that is the mentality in Nigeria. How is rape a two way thing? And bro's, i don't know the kind of animals you hang out with, but we used words, care and affection to woo the opposite sex. What a people? |
The guy get liver. Go back to do what? And why is his mum still in Nigeria. I go don move everyone i care about away from that asylum quick quick. Now his life is in Nigeria just by stepping foot in that zoo. |
BeijinDossier:By the special grace of whatever god you pray to he must also lead Nigeria. Una suffer no get expiration date. Sebi una no wan get sense? You guys think it's bad now. Lol. You have no idea what's coming. Keep supporting people who oppress you. Carry on. |
eshietIntrepid:That makes it right abi? Do you know why you all keep revolving in a loop? Because you all think like children who don't know right from wrong. As long as your belly is filled, then anything goes. All of you thoroughly deserve every leader you have, had, and will ever have. What a people. Smh. |
My question is who are you guys going to replace him with? |
karnap:Salary is not based on degree. It is based on Rank. You could be graduate and still not meet all requirement and they'll have no choice to put you in a certain rank based on their requirements. |
Because it's not meant for women.Spoken like a true Nigerian. Move to normal countries and your draw will drop. Or maybe you didn't understand the question. Women in construction/property does not always mean manual labour. |
pocohantas:Soooo, when are you going to wash your mouth out with soap ? By my count, you said "prick" at least 4 times in the space of 4 paragraphs. Missing much? ![]() |
Airforc1 they are talking to you oooo. You wey de comb left, right and center but wan marry virgin. ![]() |
peacettw:Haba bros, it's not a dil.do na. It actually is a lollipop. But you are right though; the video is over sexualized. But you and i know it's what the public want's even if they don't want to admit it. Look at Davido and wizkid. Poor role models but their concerts are always packed. How do you explain that? It's the world we live in now. If she had worn skirt and blouse, you wouldn't be talking about it and she would not make money otherwise. |
peacettw:I said the same thing first time i heard the song until my wife forced me to listen a couple of times last month. Now i'm hooked. Take your bias out of it and listen to it again. |
LuckyLadolce:Ouch!! |
policy12:And what does that tell you? I know you'll say your leaders are the problem but quick question; who continuously votes for them or supports them being there? Remember, they don't vote themselves into power. You guys do that for them. |
emmanuelewumi:But how does that improve the country overall? This is not the first time stocks have gone up or performed this well in Nigeria's history. Of what use is stocks going up and you cashing in but the country keeps getting worse by the hour? What sense does that make? |
DLondonboiy:Lol. Buhari is 1% of your problems in Nigeria. The ordinary citizens in Nigeria accounts for the remaining 99%. |
Lol. As if prayers have anything to do with winning a war or staying alive during warfare . |
SadiqBabaSani:Actually it does. More roads leads to more commerce. And more commerce brings more revenue and income. Why was Rome quick to conquer the world? Because it knew the importance of roads hence the saying, "all roads lead to Rome". What doesn't make sense is using a boat mean't for fishing/human transport to haul vehicles. It's not only retard.ed but dangerous. In this day and age fa. |
TheAngry1:I don't know if you know how it works in normal countries but that is not how they police compliance. Which is what Nigeria lacks. They ensure everyone is held accountable to the law. There is always, and i mean always, personal and individual audit. All day everyday. I'm here scratching my head as to how this stock news stops a policeman from demanding bribe in the middle of traffic. |
TheAngry1:You do understand that the goal of a company is not to create jobs but to to make profit right? Just because i have more cash flow does not mean i start hiring. It means i have cash reserves in case of emergencies. And if i were Nigerians, i would hold of on celebrating anything until corruption is crushed. Doing anything else is delaying the inevitable. |
Thegeneralqueen:Very true. I mean since we all know women have never committed any evil act since their creation. Even that fairy tale book said adam forced an apple down a woman's throat. Up women. |
Uyiii:If only Nigerians understood that. |
TheAngry1:You don't get the point. It's not about celebrating or not celebrating the news. In normal countries like Germany, the UK, the US, etc, when you hear news like this, you are 100% sure it would impact the society positively? The question you need to ask yourself is, how does this affect you and others positively? You and i know that this news does not mean shiit in a densely corrupt country like Nigeria. The news is like saying "we are the top nation in basket production and we will be using it to fetch water". As long as corruption exists in Nigeria at the level it is, it's people can never see any meaningful impact. |
Uniqueness01:But here's the thing. When you put your personal business out there for everyone to see then expect anything. Including insults. Has Nigeria outlawed birthday cards? Couldn't she have made a phone call. She knew how controversial it would be to do what she did and she did it anyway. She wanted the attention and now she's got it. Yes it's everyone's right to do whatever they want but there are consequences to decision's made. Anyone who put's their personal business on social media deserves whatever they get and much more. |
