Romance › Re: Mistakes Women Make When Their Guys Cheat On Them by Bollinger(m): 12:58pm On Mar 28, 2016
priscaoge:
Some ladies may not like this but relationship is all about applying wisdom. If your guy always cheat on you try put these into practice then you see how far it goes. Ladies a man who cheats does not deserve you let alone your tears.

1. Demanding to know about the other woman: You don’t need to know her cos if he cheats on you for her, he will cheat on her for some other women.

2. Forcing him to choose btw you and her: There is no competition here cos if he loves you, he will come after you.

3. Scrolling through his phone: These have cause problem in most relationships. You don’t need to search his phone now, asked yourself “ can you be able to withstand what you will see?”

4. Beating the other woman up: Be mature in this aspect. Love is worth fighting for BUT not physical battle. You pray about it and if nothing happens please! move on with your life.

5. Threatening to leave just to scare him: Doing this may not help matters cos if you have what it takes to keep him and he can’t find it in the other woman he will come back to you.

6. Insulting him: You don’t need to insult him to show how angry you are, doing that makes him feel that you are afraid of losing him.

7. Committing Suicide: Seriously, when you are gone, you are gone! If you take your life cos of a man that does n’t deserve you, you are such a joke! It is hell fire and God will not be happy with you. No man is worth dying for and it is only Christ who die for you and I.

Are you going through heartbreak right now, try and be strong he left you in order to create space for the right man to come in.

Good day...
You must be related to Toks2008. When you are in an unhealthy relationship, the best option for you is to leave. Unless of course you choose to live a lifetime of unhappiness. It's entirely up to you.

gozzlin:
Lies! There is no iota of veracity in these claims.

There's no single place in the Bible where the death of any of the original apostles was recorded except Judas who hanged himself. Any other claims outside the Supreme authority of the Bible are mere conjectures and utter fallacy.

Besides, how can God allow His first apostles to die such gruesome deaths? I refuse to believe these myths.
If he can allow his own son to die a horrible death, then why can't he allow his disciples die the same way?

So sad. But truth be told, she doesn't have the brutal looks of a soldier. She shouldn't have been posted to bornu by the army. She's not matured enough. See her soft cheeks, soft hands, can such girl handle ak47? Can she sleep in the forest? Young inexperienced folks like this should be working in the office of army officers as clerks and not posted to the battle field!
Women want equal rights same as men. This comes with same responsibilities.

You have to wonder how normal countries in the west and Europe do it. I mean, To Nigerians, 24-Hours power supply is same as a miracle from heaven. It is no miracle. It is more about the mentality of the government and it's citizens. When a country does not have a culture of maintenance, quality or continuity, then there is no way in hell that the country can maintain even an hour of power supply. Nigerians cannot maintain a university hostel and keep it functioning and they expect to maintain a complicated power generating system. Ok. Good luck with that.

I hv give ymuch more than a word
If you like don't listen. Time will tell. Many People like you have remained stagnant because they refuse to change the way they think. Only a few who are lucky to be alive have done so just by simply changing their mentality. I have seen countless people like that. Simply ask for help from someone more enlightened and find a way to stay ENLIGHTENED. That is the only way out. A word they say is enough for the wise. I have given you words of wisdom.

Let he who is without sin be the first to cast a stone.
It is said that "big sin", "small sin"; all are equal before the creator.
God isn't concerned about the "occupation" of the giver; he is concerned with the heart.
You need not be guilty of the aforementioned sins; you are a sinner, you are a sinner.
Let us or him not be the judge but God, for if he was to judge us based on human principles none would be "acquitted".
I am not against the pastor, but I feel he shouldn't have done that.
I hope to God, for your sake, that there is some kind of mental deliverance in your life.

God is judge of ALL,the people of amelekites what were their crimes?,first all the cannanites did something that God hated, they sacrificed their children to their fire god called molech or Baal, even the people of Jericho,God specifically told the Jews that,"you are not more than this people, but because of their atrocities and abominable you will displace them",now to your question why did God not spare them, remember the story of the flood,God gave them a whooping 100 YEARS,to repent, now Sodom and Gomorrah, the attrotics,Abraham asked God if there were 50 righteous people if God would still destroy them,he said no,Abram reduced the number to 10,God said if 10 good people were in Sodom he wouldn't have destroyed it,now these Canaanites must have been forgiveness, yes they were, they peaceful asked to grant isreal passage, but the onset they wage war against isreal, they were in a continous fighter of the Israelites, through which God had promised the Messiah, not to forget their child-burning god worship, remember when isreal went rogue and started these same practice,God gave them countless message for them to repent, they didn't and the same thing happen to them through the Assyrians and Babylonians.
You say the justification for killing the Amelekites was because the did terrible things. So, Saul was a boys scout?

define assasin,define punisher.
That is the distinction people who hire or are assassins cannot make. Assassins and or the people who hire them consider themselves punishers. Saul committed terrible atrocities same as the amelekites. Why didn't God give the amelekites the same opportunities to change rather than ask King saul to wipe out their whole generation?

The problem with Nigerians is they do not understand how governance works. Even the government doesn't know how it works. What they are proposing is what the local government bodies should be doing at their level. Of what use is the local government then? I guarantee they will form a special commitee for this. I would have said that it would be a waste of taxpayer funds, but Nigerians don't pay tax. There is so much phucked up shiit in Nigeria.

Bibors:
I have read many threads and comments here about avoiding errors in making choices of your spouce hence this my first thread on how those who now live with a contentious and nagging wife can survive.

Once the knot is tied and the butterflies fly away and reality sets in , its now time to take the bull by he horn and survive or DIE.
Note- these women have good intentions for being contentious women. They are protecting their man. Wants him to come back home straight from the office, to always look away when he sees a beautiful woman, calls and calls to know where you are and still calls even after a million explanations until you can't take the call again, try to stop you from hanging out with friends over a bottle of beer, try to correct everything they perceive as an error you made, goes the extreme with you as in- why call consistently when i have told you what's up, then you hear OK I will NEVER call again. Ahhh the list is endless.

The typical Naija man is a hardworking hustler who doesn't want to be slowed down with the rules to make a woman happy while he withdraws into a shell.

1. Never keep pleasing her to displease yourselves- if you keep playing by her rules she will still complain.
2. Never neglect your network of friends especially guys you discuss business with just because she doesn't like them.
3. Never raise your hands on her except she has beaten you atleast twice- ie. Her first beating could be a mistake, second beating, she has anger issues, if she tries to repeat it, Brother deliver her but carefully so you Dont give marks or injury for she still remains your wife.
4. Provide all you can but never get into debt to please her.
5. You can never talk sense into a contentious woman if you try you hurt both yourselves more so resort to short syllabus words- Love you, thank you, excuse me, fine, etc.
She will never stop checking your phone and will still fine faults even when there is nothing there so always lock yours and never look at hers.
6. She will manipulate to into jealousy- Never give into any kind of manipulation no matter how it hurts.
7. Ignore her rantings and concentrate on raising your kids.

8. Live with your problems, get used to it, and you will walk through victorious where others have failed.
9. Always remember that the man who contends with more problems/ issues and challenges is always a better man.

Name callers are welcome- constructive critisiam is well come above all matured experienced contributions very welcomed.
Revise number eight. That is the Nigerian mentality talking. No one should stay in an abusive relationship. It is unhealthy. You are talking about hitting each other in your third point and you think that's healthy?

Car Talk › Re: 7 Myths About Fuel Economy by Bollinger(m):

1. Myth: Letting a vehicle warm up is best for gas mileage

This holdover from the good old days persists, but modern cars are designed to drive within a few seconds of being started.

Letting them sit and warm up may be convenient – like in the winter to defrost and warm the interior – but this does not save gas. A car gets 0 mpg as long as it is sitting.

It is true an engine must reach an optimal operating temperature for best fuel economy, but manufacturers often recommend gently taking off, and letting the engine warm up as it’s carrying you down the road. It will warm faster if you do this while avoiding heavy loads until the engine temperature comes up.
Letting your car warm up is good because it allows the vehicle to do a self check and the oil circulate properly.

wapu:
What about the AC myth??

That you save more fuel when you drive without an AC.
That is a myth. You save more gas when you use your AC. When you open your windows when driving, you car becomes a parachute making the engine work harder to move forward. What saves you gas consumption is always airing your tires to the right level, changing your oil regularly and using your Ac when driving around.

You might want to revise that comment. There are many instances where God has asked his followers to kill and wipe out whole generations in his name. Asking Saul to destroy the amelekites is one example.

Eddygourdo:
I just arrive lagos to hear some unpalatable news about my tenant. This yoruba family blessed with three children. The wife is a struggling woman. Doing her best to provide for the home and truthfully all the while I have known this man. He has been reasonable, a loving parent. He could do anything to provide for his family. Yet this year no rent payment, no nepa payment, yet we pump water free with either generator or nepa to ensure the taps in his home are running always as well as other amenities

I was told my another neighbour that this man now sleeps in the house of another woman old enough to be his mother, on inquiry to his wife as to the whereabouts of the husband. She told me he says he wanna hustle at night buying produce from far away towns. Unknowingly to her the stupid man has been sleeping out with another woman, a widow old enough to be his mother. I believe juju must be involved, because I never envisioned such character from him.

Anyway it isn't my business how he wants to ruin his family. But my concern is that news from the grapevine indicates he just paid the house rent of the so called woman. Yet he hasn't paid the one his family lives in. This is my bone of contention. I pity the family but I don't have time for empathy especially when my money is concerned (I am an igbo man). This is soon April and his rent expired since October last year.

I believe a quit notice could harm the wife and kids more than the hopeless man. But Wat can I do. I doubt advice to a man under a spell will work. Hence haven't called him to advise him. Am really stewing and confused on what to do.
It is none of your business.
