it has already been proven that words in a written form express more emotions than oral word!
Proved by whom? We are not talking about writing a poem here. This is about expressing an intent to live with someone for the rest of one's life. All it tells me is the guy probably is not confident enough of himself and fears rejection because i see no reason why it cannot be a face to face encounter. I don't understand why a man or woman cannot stand in the presence of the one they love to express their intent, rather than do it on watsapp of all things.

It appears that the workers in PDP led states are faring better than their APC counterparts. Imo and Osun are busy sacking their owed workers. While states like Ekiti are paying, APC states like Edo are owing.
Why?
He is doing well because salaries were paid in January. Haba. This should not even be in a conversation at all. Suffer don dabaru the psyche of the average Nigeria.

story for the gods...

A wicked and generation of brainwashed children of hate and anger asks for a sign or for Dr. Jonathan to speak up! Sorry, but none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.

Until APC tells Nigerians the source of their campaign fund, expect no response from the most democratic president in the history of Nigeria.
Are you serious? Because he is the most "democratic president" in your eyes, he shouldn't be questioned about the massive fraud that was discovered under his watch? The problem with Nigeria is not it's leaders but it's citizens. You all really deserve the leaders you have.

Even a madman knows that was Americans intent all along.
So, how does using common sense become "mad". You think everyone thinks like Nigerians. They don't want to depend on oil producers anymore and they stepped up their oil production. How is that a bad thing?

9jacrip:
I saidI read it somewhere.

How do we figure out if it was their intent or not?

What if they are interested in flooding the market with shale and pulling the world towards it?

What if the sink in crude price is in order to capture and monopolize the market?
You just proved my point.
Foreign Affairs › Re: US and EU Officially Lift Nuclear Related Sanctions On Iran by Bollinger(m): 7:22pm On Jan 17, 2016
9jacrip:
Indeed it makes no sense but you didn't say anything contrary.
It does. All i did was summarize your intent. You made it sound like the U.S went out deliberately to sink the price of oil. That was not their intent. That was why i said it is simple economics. They stopped buying, price dropped. Too simple.
Foreign Affairs › Re: US and EU Officially Lift Nuclear Related Sanctions On Iran by Bollinger(m): 7:13pm On Jan 17, 2016
9jacrip:
I read somewhere (I can't recall) that the U.S is mostly responsible for the nosedive of crude oil (with the severe push given to shale). I suppose having been able to sink the price of crude oil to a considerable 'low', this move is in order to throw the knock out punch which will then see oil price sinking to as far as $10 if not below.

The 'likely' eventual but slow end of oil dependent states.
That makes no sense. The U.S has oil and have recently stepped up oil exploration which means they don't need to buy as much as they used to. Also, they've scaled down their wars. It's simple economics bro. When demand is down, price will drop.

omenka:
Very bad news for oil dependent economies, worst of all Nigeria since we refused to save enough to use as buffers under such a situation.

Now Iran would flood the IOM with its crude driving oil prices even lower- I foresee it dipping below $10pb.
The word you are looking for is diversify.

“…Where national security is threatened or there is the real likelihood of it being threatened, human rights or the individual rights of those responsible take second place. Human rights or individual rights must be suspended until the national security can be protected or well taken care of. This is not anything new. The corporate existence of Nigeria as a united, harmonious, indivisible and indissoluble sovereign nation is certainly greater than any citizen’s liberty or right.”
I must commend you. What eloquent nonsense you have written. Of all this, i find this quote most intriguing. It is the job of the courts to determine if the security of the country is being threatened. The job of the state is to argue it's point in a court of law so as to prove it's merits. You can't have have it both ways. You can't take an accused to court and then disregard it's judgement by trumping up reasons or your own. Then why take the accused to court in the first place?

Don't be so quick to assume or generalize like that. My wife is an orphan. I had to teach her how to cook when i noticed she wasn't that versed when we were dating. Now, she is a pro. It depends on the man and his mentality. If food is the measure of his love then he can do away with his wife. If not, he might want to invest in her.

But wait a second if money was laundered is it the bank's fault? I mean there are laid down processes that the bank must have followed before paying any cheque issued by the government, confirmations must have been done and the cheque must have been signed by the accountant general or who ever is in charge of that before payment.
It's only in cases where policies were not followed that the bank will become liable.
On the other hand if they are talking about funds brought into the bank by the money launderers as their personal money .....well i must say that the bank must have provided policies that encourages due diligence in situations as this (as is the case with many other banks too ).......if that be the case, what we will now be looking at is which member of staff went ahead to flaunt the bank policy with out recourse to the consequences of his/her actions. ..it could either be the account manager or maybe the branch manager or whoever....
That statement makes no sense.

Are you saying that just because Tompolo say's he is not involved we should just take his word for it? That is not how it's done in normal societies. But then again, If i were Tompolo, i would not show up to defend myself considering that the Government does not observe the rule of law. When you deprive an individual of basic legal rights, you are setting a precedence that can never be sustained. Who would want to turn themselves over to the law, when there is a likelihood that you would never see daylight again because of the refusal of the government to obey court orders? #Dasuki.
Christianity Etc › Re: The Rituals Of Christianity by Bollinger(m): 12:03pm On Jan 17, 2016
malvisguy212:
Christianity is not even a religion, many churches have miss the point, Do you really believe that God favors your denomination over others? Quite the contrary, if your denomination professes to be “the only true way”, I can pretty well guarantee that it isn’t! Do you think that God’s intention was to have thousands of different denominations of His Church? They can’t all be right, and more than likely they’re all wrong.

Many reference in the old testament and Jesus statement indicate to us, God hate religion.

Isaiah 1:13-14 states, “Bring no more
vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons
and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblie.
it is iniquity…Your new moons and your
appointed feasts my soul hateth: they
are a trouble unto me; I am weary to
bear them.”

David prays to God in Psalm 40:6,
“Sacrifice and offering thou didst not
desire;…Burnt offering and sin offering
hast thou not required.”

Amos 5:21 says, “I hate, I despise your
feast days, and I will not smell (the odors of their sacrifices) in your solemn
assemblies.”

You see, the Israelites (Jews) of the Old
Testament had forgotten the relationship with God and became dependent upon the religious system of works and sacrifice and offerings expecting spiritual redemption or to appease God. But in these passages we see God Himself saying, “I don’t care how you shake and dance, I’m not interested in your religious activities, I want your heart.” In fact that is exactly what He expresses here in Isaiah 29:13, “ Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me …”(Jesus quoted this passage in Matt. 15:8-9 adding “…in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men .”)
I wonder why you don't have a thousand likes for that logical post? Anyway to add to it, if a man is born in a remote area of the world and he has never heard of Jesus but lives a pious and good life, are we saying that when he dies he will automatically go to hell? That makes absolutely no sense at all considering that the bible says one must accept Jesus and be born again to enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The currency devalued itself because the price of oil which is the main thing we export has fallen. It's not the CBN's fault. It's nobody's fault.
Lol. . .you are funny. It is Every single person in Nigeria's fault for allowing the dependence on oil to continue for this long. No sane nation does that. Taxation should be a nations main focus, not mineral resource. Mineral resources can be depleted, your human resources will always replenish itself. It is unfortunate that Nigerians can't grasp this simple concept.
