The Bleating Braggart: A Tale of the Dwarf Goat Who Thought He Was King In the heart of the vast and diverse Kingdom of Niger River where animals of all kinds lived and roamed freely, there lies the ancient city of the warrior Queen, sprawling amidst towering margosa and mango trees and the ever-flowing crocodile river. In this city of Learning lived a garrulous Dwarf Goat, though small in stature, but enormous in ego. He was the self-proclaimed expert, the indispensable advisor, the goat who always knew best. From sunrise to sunset, he bleated nonstop, convinced that his noisy chatter made him the most important animal in the kingdom. He would strut around, his tiny hooves kicking up dust, proclaiming himself the “Saviour of the Kingdom.” Yet, when the other animals looked at his track record, they found questionable dungs, no true loyalty, empty promises, trails of chaos, and capricious and vindictive nature. For eight seasons, this Goat ruled over the Learning Land, treating it as his personal farm. He made decrees that suited his whims, kicking out the wise Elephants, silencing the Owls, and chasing away the Peacocks. He marginalized the smaller herds, like the Meerkats and the Hedgehogs, ensuring that only his inner circle had access to the best grazing grounds. He even dethroned the Buffalos that had long guided the land’s traditions. His reign was marked by a relentless pursuit of the watering hole spotlight. He thrived on attention, becoming agitated and aggressive when it shifted elsewhere. The Dwarf Goat could not stand being ignored. If an animal did not seek his wisdom, they became his enemy. If they succeeded without him, he despised them. If they excluded him from their plans, he vowed revenge. Any hint of another animal’s competence, he rushed in with butting and bleating. He breeds brat kids and surrounds himself with “yes-goats,” that nod and bleat in agreement with whatever he says creating an echo chamber. The Goat once led a campaign in the Excellence Land against the so-called “Tyranny of the Big Beasts,” claiming that the Big Tusker had too much power and promising to dismantle the old order. The irony was as thick as mud after a rainstorm. Today, he is now engaged in a bitter feud with his hand-picked successor, the Gentle Springbok. All because the Gentle Springbok dared to undo the very messes the Goat had created. The reinstatement of dethroned Buffalos and all moves towards reconciliation and justice in the Learning Land were painted as an act of betrayal. The inclusive grazing practiced by Gentle Springbok by bringing previously marginalized herds into the fold was somehow framed as backstabbing. His hypocrisy reached new heights with his ongoing war against the Lion King he had supported. Denied the position of a Chief in the Lion King’s Royal Court after failing the Vulture’s scrutiny, he now unleashed a flood of criticism against the Court. This wasn’t about principled opposition after all, it was about personal vendetta. He began spreading rumours about the Lion’s leadership, claiming that the Kingdom was “falling apart” under his rule. To undermine the Lion’s effort, the Goat formed alliances with the Jackals, Coyotes and Foxes, who are known troublemakers. He gnashes his teeth and kicks the dust every day on the Twittering Lane, hoping to disrupt the Kingdom just because he was left out. How could the Goat, who had once championed the Lion King and the Gentle Springbok, now be working against them? It is now clear that the Goat’s loyalty was not to the Kingdom but to himself. It wasn’t about justice or the well-being of the animals, but all about bruised ego. The Goat’s behaviour is now what the animals of Niger River call the “Dwarf Goat Complex” — a combination of narcissism, insecurity, arrogance, and an insatiable need for attention. The Dwarf Goat might be small in stature, but it’s loud, stubborn and with an ego the size of an Elephant. He personified the worst aspects of self-serving Kingdom politics. He bleated about principles while practicing opportunism. He demanded loyalty while exhibiting none himself. He criticized others for the very flaws he embodied. He couldn’t stand the idea of another animal outshining him, even if it meant sabotaging the very kingdom he claimed to love. He is, in short, a political caricature, a cautionary tale of ego unchecked and ambition untethered from integrity. So far, the animals of the Niger River Kingdom have finally seen through his game — his bleats are not wisdom, his anger is not justice, and his butts are not for the good of the kingdom, but for himself alone. The Wise Tortoise once said: “A loud bleat does not make a wise leader, and a selfish animal will always put itself before the Kingdom”. https://medium.com/@lanreabdurrazaq/the-bleating-braggart-a-tale-of-the-dwarf-goat-who-thought-he-was-king-a53ea35d49ef

Federal Character for another man business again? Na wao. Bitterness don dey overrun some people lives o. Soon dem go talk say Dangote Refinery appointments doesn't reflect Federal Character. All these over-craze wey dey worry una so, na Igala thunder go cure am for una. Nansense!!! |
Gandollar:Na wa o. Which kind reverse thinking be this sef? She's the First Lady and yet you claimed she's not the favourite. So El-Rufai chosed the wife he least love as the First Lady and make her more popular and more influential than his favourite wife? Lol. As a member of the El-Rufai family, oya abeg tell us how many wives the Governor get. Give us their names. And please tell us which of them El-Rufai told you is his favourite. So many kids on this street sha. |
tommykiwi:Lol. You didn't even read it. |
DonFreshmoney:Won tun ti de o awon ex-Buharists! Dem don come o the 'before before' people. The so-called "I campaigned for Buhari before". The fake "I voted for Buhari in 2015". To add credence to their comments they just have to mention the super name. So people can take them serious they have to add the name of Mai Gaskiya into the post. The name Buhari is too blessed jor. Fans o ati awon haters, no day passed without their tongues mentioning the name that represent integrity: Muhammadu Buhari. |
In order words, Odumakin is announcing to Nigerians that he has been appointed as the mouthpiece of Fake and Unsubstantiated News. I was thinking that post was held by that druggie called FFK. Anyway, we know he is hungry. We know he is jobless. The so-called group he is representing is of no political importance in the Southwest. We don't recognize them. Gani Adams alone will command votes than the entire Afenifere. CJN said his house was not invaded, the layabout is still claiming it is a case of mistaken identity. We all know that when EFCC operatives visit you will see EFCC clearly written on their vests. Yet, Odumakin refused to tell us the security operatives that mounted the fake cordon. These corrupt men thinks we are fools and men with little mind. We know this is part of their Dubai Strategy. It has been failing and it will continue to fail. Peter Obi account was frozen - Lie Atiku children's home was invaded - Lie Buhari family owns Keystone & 'Etisalat' - Lie Tinubu collapsed and in hospital - Lie Walter Onnoghen is sacked - Lie Walter Onnoghen home was invaded - Lie Walter Onnoghen accounts frozen - Lie Walter Onnoghen security details withdrawn - Lie They asked for issue based campaign but they are practicing lie-based campaigns, tapes-based campaigns and shameful propaganda. #NextLevel jare.... |
Unekwunice:So, who should we vote for? Atiku? Same Atiku that was part of the 16 years of PDP you condemned? Who is the better candidate we should cast our vote for? |
obi58:Lol. Fake indeed. They said no crack in PDP, yet deputy National Chairman decamped. Rara o, crack ke? In our party? State coordinators are resigning and decamping. Nba nno! Crack gini? Yet former Chairman is now in APC and campaigning for Buhari in Bauchi. Look, like Keyamo aptly described it, London Bridge is falling down. PDP is imploding. PDP is sinking. PDP is melting away from the political scene. You will witness a whole more decamping from PDP and more disassociation from Atiku. Shebi Ohanenze just recently denied endorsing Atiku. PDP will NEVER rule my Nigeria again, never never. |
Yankee101:Story, story. |
I love Lai Mohammad. He has been dealing with PDP since 1914. God bless this gentleman. |
Dshocker:Spot on ko, spot off ni. If FFK make sense to you then I don't need to engage you. |
So this idiot is still posting and tweeting? This omo ale is so shameless shame is ashamed on his behalf. Why people care to read and quote a retard like him, I have no idea. Well, I don't follow druggies. In case you're wondering I DIDN'T read the rubbish FFK wrote. He has NO reputation for making sense |
Dpharisee:Olodo rabata!!! So did you see the Obas pointing their 'Opa' at President Buhari? How do you guys even think sef? Oga o! |
ChiefAzubuike:You're apparently the foolish one here. How constructive has your criticism of Prof. Oloyede been? You couldn't even point at what exactly is the problem with the procedures JAMB introduced. This is a man that is sanitizing jamb as an organization and UTME as a test. Well I'm sure you hated him because of your addiction to corruption and everything shortcut. I do have the feeling that he probably frustrated your black bum by insisting you the right thing during your so-called Masters program. Probably you wanted to pass without attending classes or doing assignments or even exams and you wanted to graduate with a Merit but he refused. See, a lazy student never likes a strict lecturer. |
Ifesinachi22:Save this and after Feb. 16th bring it up, read it again and laugh loud at your cheap gullibility. A Senator that is not sure of winning his reelection is predicting what is clearly beyond his capability and you're taking it as the voice of God? Yeye! |
IamAtikulate:So Obi of Onitsha visited the site of 2nd Niger Bridge in 2015? OK o, get well soon. |
scopusng:Yet, Dangote is happily one of the Advisers on Buhari's reelection campaign. Even though you just copy and paste, but you should have done your due diligence. Why is Dangote still associating more with Buhari and APC than with Atiku and PDP if Buhari has been bad for his businesses? |
SalamRushdie:Wetin dis one dey talk? FFK disciple. |
bedspread:Shut up there jor! That's Dr. Hajo Sani an SA to the President who is always representing Mrs Aisha at functions. You guys are just so clueless and shameless. |
Nathdoug:That's Dr. Hajo Sani not Amina Zakari. You guys are just so shameless and ignorant. |
Martinez19:There goes the confirmation that you've never visited the UK. Relaying on unverifiable stories from right wing tabloids or blogs always result into what you posted above. To say the UK government gives special welfare to illegal Muslim migrants take the biscuit. My advice to you is: Don't make assertions on things and places you know next to nothing about. |
Buharimustgo:Lol see this one. At percentage of installed capacity were all the refineries were working during the 5 years of Goodluck Jonathan in spite of billions reportedly spent on phantom Turnaround Maintenance (TAM)? Do you research. Our refineries are working at a higher percentage of their capacity than they ever did that is even without this government spending any money to improve production and performance. Moreover, it is obvious you have no idea of what you're talking about. What is the capacity of Dangote Refinery? What is the daily consumption of PMS in Nigeria? Can Dangote Refinery conveniently meet the country's daily demand for fuel without our other 4 refineries and importation? Again, do your research. |
GuyWise101:Go and reverse the clean-up they did na since you believe it's a fake clean-up. Ignorance Without Border! |
beamtopola:Since their cleaning up exercise is annoying you then go and hug the transformer in your area and make sure there is electrical current passing through when you hug it. |
Martinez19:Apparently you've never been to UK because if you do you won't ask this question. |
omega2128:This comment makes no sense at all. All I can deduce is that the author is full of unnecessary anger which needed to be directed at something or somebody. For 16 years a party was handling the country like its their personal property you didn't even complain for lack of weekly update on ongoing projects. This government came after few months you start shouting they have nothing to show. Then they started updating the nation on their ongoing projects and now you're complaining they are disturbing your peace work-in-progress projects. Guy, do you even know what you want or need? Personally I'm happy they are updating us with their projects. |
Abuheekmat:You are the more ignorant folk here. What she did is exactly what Allah asked Muslims to do. How do you promote love and peace between religions if not by this way she has chosen? You're one of the problems of religious fanaticism in Nigeria. |
perdollar:Religious bigotry wee kee you dere. |
IYANGBALI:Have they killed the Imam that saved 300 Christians in Jos? You're one of the problems with religion prejudice in Nigeria. |
Princeofnigeria:Spiteful slowpoke!!! |
When you pay people to come visit you and hail you, but they started shouting someone else's name instead of yours, bruh, you are not loved. I hope Atiku will get the message. |
