Who is looking to sell his note 8 4/64 please? I can no longer wait for note 9s. Preferably someone in Lagos, even better if you're on the mainland for ease of meeting up

It has to be in perfect condition (40k) offer

40k? For 4/64? Seriously?!

Yeah. My Redmi note 8 has both.

Nobody is talking about our new update on RN8. That android system is chopping the battery jare. RN8 make una talk na, e no fit be only 2 person dey use this phone na. Edakun, da Allah bikonu

I've given up jareh. I have sent quite a handful of feedbacks on Android system draining battery and dropping SOT by 1-2hrs when compared to previous updates but the problem persists. The thing now is to just enjoy whatever SOT I'm getting in peace. Android system is even above screen when it comes to power usage.

exactly the problem with many,i offered to buy someone RN8 but when she compared the cameras to camon 12pro,she said cm12 pro is better, besides its my gain cos its cheaper

I had to send someone to YouTube to watch mobile photography photos and understand the concepts of saturation, exposure and stuffs like that just to drive home some points. The thing is, people have been so used to Transions' picture quality that they use it as a yardstick to judge cameras. If you show them iPhone or Samsung shots, they will still feel reluctant to agree to iPhone/Samsung giving better camera output.

Details.
Exposure.
Noise.
Saturation.

All these stuffs don't matter to them. They just wanna see face beauty and that's all...

It's actually hard to own or use a Xiaomi phone without finding out or try to find out stuffs about phones in general. Except you're immune to learning. If you follow this thread, you'll be forced to up the ante on your knowledge of phones.

no i didn't.. His selfies are also better.. Truth be told his rear camera too. Only things my own has is the 48mp which i barely use

LOL. What's your current MIUI version? Earlier versions had issues with WhatsApp call video quality but recent updates have improved it. The selfie of my RN8 is clearly better than that of Camon 12pro from testings I've done. And back camera too.

MODIFIED: Hope you ain't tagging overexposure as being better? Eh?

Instructions on application of config file for Parrot V7.3

Create a folder on the root of your internal storage called ConfigsCamera7, paste those config files there

Now go to your Gcam, double tap that blank space between your shutter button and the button to view recent photos, select any of the config file and click restore

Any advanced settings to apply on this version of GCAM? Cos it seems my former version shoots better pictures than this one.

Someone shared a GCAM link for Parrot's Version 7.3.

Can anyone help with very good advanced settings to improve camera output? Like saturation, sharpness and co...

Hey guys!

I got the Mi band 4 about a month ago and I've been enjoying it since then. Cool features I must confess.

I installed the Notify and Fitness app but I just kinda find it too "complex" when compared to the Mi fit app. I don't know if anyone here can give me a workaround on how to go about the N&F app.

Thank you.

You don't have to be so defensive. I mean you no slight or harm. I'm just curious that you would say such a thing.

Nothing on a phone runs without the processor. Nothing.

1. Computing tasks/power is done by the cores depending on their arrangements: duo, quad, hexa, octa and even deca. Tasks could be as easy as using the calculator app or streaming live videos to a TV or projector.

2. All camera activities are handled by the ISP (Image Signal Processor), OIS (optical image stabilization), night shots, computational photography software etc.

3. Software (Android or iOS) and other android skins like HiOS and XoS obviously require the processor to run.

4. Calls/Network: the modem for calls and network is located inside the processor. This is why phones using Mediatek 6580 cannot use 4G LTE as it has no 4G receiver embedded in the processor.

5. Connectivity: the modems for Bluetooth and WiFi are located inside the processor as well. The best BT version around is 5.0 I think, off the top of my head.

6. External attachment: inside the processor is where the external attachment receiver is located for USB technology. This is why phones support OTG and others do not despite using the same micro USB charging port.

7. Storage: The ufs flash storage is powered by the processor as well and is used to read it's contents. Storage includes RAM and ROM obviously.

8. Charging and Battery: the processor determines how battery is used or conserved by deciding what cores to run on particular tasks. Fast charging tech is also located in the processor as well. Snapdragon uses Quick Charge (QC) while Mediatek uses Pump charge.

So what's more to the phone than the Processor? If I've missed any please educate me. The comment got me thinking.

I doff my hat! Very well said!

Honestly.
That's was what I was tryna make them understand. The comparison forced me to comment.
I don't use a Samsung or Xiaomi device. I use a OnePlus 7 Pro.
Ok I might have made a mistake with specs of mi 10 Pro and they used it to attack me.
If we see truth make we talk abeg. There shouldn't be any comparison at all.

I still feel the S20 Ultra is overpriced though but who cares? Sell the product as well as the brand.

The specs are very very decent.

SoC: SD675 (the same processor on the RN7 pro)

Camera: Quad module (main shooter, wide angle, macro and depth sensors) 48mp as usual.

Battery: 4100mAh (18w Quick Charge)

Glass body (GG5)

This device is a massive upgrade over the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 8 abeg. But, I'm still waiting for Redmi Note 10. That phone is likely to be a 5G device.

Where my RN10 (RNX) crew them? Una still dey ball?

It's not a massive upgrade. I'm beginning to feel successive generations of Redmi note series don't feel much like massive upgrade over their predecessors.

Addition of FHD+ AMOLED. In-screen fingerprint scanner, and SD 700+ series would've passed as a massive upgrade although it'll come way more expensive than the regular Redmi note series price range.
