I was in malice with my entire family but my wife didn't bother so much about me but she just did and acted like she didn't care. Today we can't remember that episode.

His mum (from the story) had a seizure, most likely a stroke which led to her death.
Seizures could be from other causes (electrolyte imbalances, infections, brain tumors etc.) Only an autopsy could help in identifying the actual cause of the seizure post-mortem.
Health guidelines (JNC-VIII) advise that daily consumption of salt should be between 2 to 3 grams per day.
One teaspoon of Dangote iodized salt contains about 2 grams of salt. Even if his wife used FOUR teaspoons of salt to cook the pot of food, it will be (4 x 2g= 8g total) of salt in THE ENTIRE POT of food.
So unless Mama (may her soul R. I. P) ate the ENTIRE POT, then I don't believe that her sodium levels hit the roof like OP is alluding to.
Seasoning like Maggi and Knorr have high sodium levels too (up to 25g per cube) but these will equally be diluted in the entire serving. And Mama would only have eaten a portion of the whole serving.
In fact, I advise my patients to cut down more on seasoning (especially the ones like Ajinomoto) rather than raw salt.
If Mama was hypertensive and diabetic, she should have been on a diuretic to get rid of any excess sodium (*** I'm throwing a shade at the finger pointing doctor***)
Here is what I think happened; Mama had a heart attack which compromised blood supply to her brain (cerebral hypoxia). This now made her to have a seizure (most likely from a CVA).
Most Nigerian doctors with limited experience underestimate the frequency of coronary events in elderly diabetics; a patient population notorious for having several episodes of silent, sub-clinical coronary events (aka mild, silent heart attacks). These mild heart attacks are usually a warning sign of a major heart attack looming.
Now I ask; 1. Was Mama ever screened for coronary heart disease when she was alive?
2. Was she on anti-platelet therapy when she was alive?
3. Even when she was brought into the emergency room were protocols to screen for/counter acute coronary syndrome ever implemented?
If the answer to ANY of these 3 questions is "NO", then please the man's wife should be left alone (in fact if I were her brother I would advise her to divorce that idiot. What manner of man will come Nairaland and start accusing his wife of such??)
Likewise, what doctor will tell a patient relative that "Cock and bull" story of excess salt being the cause of a seizure??
OP should have taken his Mum to a better hospital for specialist care.
And the doctor should invest his time and money in medical textbooks and current journals to improve patient care and reduce blaming others for his own shortcomings.
R.I.P. to the deceased, but doctor and OP should both learn from this experience to avoid future occurrences.

I am the only child of my mother. I have three sisters on my father's side. I am married with two beautiful daughters. my mother suffered from diabetes, bp and high cholesterol. She is on a special diets strictly no salt or too much sugar.
She came to stay with me because the person who was taking care of her wasn't doing her job properly so I had to bring her to my house so I will be monitoring her health.
I have a house help who prepares all her meals with less salt and she also makes sure she takes her medicines on time without fail. Everything was fine, my mother is not a troublesome person, she gets on well with my wife and most of the time she is in her room resting.
On the 20th of December my house help had traveled to the village to see her people and she will be back in January 4th so my wife and I have to take care of my mother making sure that her foods is less salty and medicines on time.
Since I am always working so my wife had to take most of the responsibility. It is only for a week and fews days until the house help is back.
She had agreed to take care of my mother during this periods of time and I thought everything was fine but I noticed my mother become distant and tired unlike her and I had no idea that she was actually dying and I have never suspected that my wife was maltreating her.
So Thursday being 30th December I was at work when my wife called and asked me to join her at the hospital because mama had a seizure.
I rushed to the hospital and my mother was in a coma state and I asked her what happened to mama, she said mama woke up that morning complaining about shortage of breath and she told her to go back to bed and rest hoping she will be fine by the time she will wake up. Only for mama to fall off the ground and started shaking with foam coming out of her mouth.
I was in panicked I couldn't stop praying for my mother to get better and I didn't leave the hospital, my wife went home to take care of the children because she has left them with the neighbour and I had spend all night prayer vigil at my mother's bedside and glory be to God my mother woke up yesterday being 31st but the doctor report was not a good news for me.
Actually my mother was poisoned with salt and guess who did it? My beloved wife couldn't bothered to cook a different meal for my mother, she used to feed her the same meal we ate knowing full well that mama cannot eat the same foods as us because we are salt lovers, especially my wife, she love eating too much salt which I have warned her over and over again because it is also not good for her health.
I confronted her, she said she only fed mama the same meals we ate twice only but according to the doctor it was more than two times.
I am hurt that my wife doesnt love my mother or treat her like her own mother because if she truly loved her like her own mother she would have put her diet on consideration and not allow her to eat the same meal as us. I love her mother and u treat her like my own mother.
It pains me a lot when I remember five years ago when her mother was in coma state and she was staying with her at the hospital, she is her only daughter amongst three boys.
I used to visit them everyday after work, I will bring foods and I have even washed her mother clothes with my own hands, I have done with love because she is my mother. I called my mother in law this morning and I have informed her about what her daughter has done to my mother and she couldn't stop apologising and she is very disappointed with my wife.
But see how she has repaid me by hurting my own mother.
She has apologised to me and to my mother, I have forgave her but I don't think I can stay with her again because one day if I become sick or bedridden she might treat me the same way.
Honestly speaking I am not even at home with her and the kids, I am at my cousin brother's house since yesterday I left the hospital and my mother is still in the hospital because she needs more treatment and hopefully she will recover by next week.
I don't feel like going home today and I don't know when I'll go home but I will always be there for my girls because they are the best thing that ever happened to me.

NCE1: I'm currently having issues in the place I stay, I am a student that rented an apartment close to school, and ever since this landlady and her children have been a thorn in my flesh and even other neighbors.
Let me narrate what happened. I'm not a perfect grammar person and please read to the end.
In the place I stay, there's a well we fetch water from, so last week Sunday the well was locked up, which was very unusual... It was locked up from morning till night, nobody in the compound could access water.. I couldn't cook nor bath, so in the evening I decided to go ask the landlady why the well was locked and ask for the key so I can get water.
On getting to the landlady's place, I greeted her and asked calmly why the well was locked up, before I knew what was happening her son came out and told me to get out of there... I was very shocked and surprised, that I came to ask for the key to the well and he just tells me to walk out like that.
I told him I'm here to ask why the well was locked and collect the key, and that I cannot just walk out like that.
Before I knew what was happening, the boy started getting aggressive and he was threatening that he would kill me and was making all sort of threats, before I knew it... He attacked me, both the mom and the son with their last daughter.
They pushed me to the wall, which I sustained an injury at the back of my hand, the landlady was trying to get me naked by pulling the short I was wearing... I wore this short because I wanted to collect the key, fetch water and take my bathe.
So as she was trying to pull down my shorts and get me naked, I had to bite her a little so she could release her hand from my shorts.
The neighbors gathered because of the noise and saw the three of them against me. Then I left there and went and open the well which they padlocked, then they came down and insisted that nobody would use the well.
It was then that someone told me the reason why they locked the well was because the son of the landlady had an issue with someone early in the morning while the both of them were fetching water and he locked up the well to deal with the person... Thus causing inconveniences for the remaining tenants.
The next day they(landlady and her son) went to the police to report the matter.
And they lied to the police that they locked up the well because the tenants were polluting the well. Then they reported that I came to their house to attack them and I bite her.
Then the police came and took me and the neighbor that had disagreement with the son that resulted in them locking up the well.
We left the police station that same day and we went back in two days time for interview.. At the interview the police asked us to settle the matter amicably, but they proposed that they want to go to court and if we don't want to go to the court, that we'll have to pay the sum of 50k.
The 50k is for the money she used to treat herself, which is a lie. One of the neighbor in the compound overheard her making arrangements with a pharmacist to manipulate the bill of drugs she got.
And aside that, up till now they have refused to open the well for the whole compound to use, but they themselves are still using it, despite claiming that it was polluted.
Now my Daddy had to call her and beg and he told her to calm down that he would pay her 15k but she refused, that it's the 50k or we go to court.
Now my question is.
Was I wrong in the first place for going to ask of the key to the well that was locked up without proper information of why it was locked, and this well is the well we've been using since we packed in?
The second question is, if we go to the court now, what are the penalties I would have to face if I was wrong?
And finally, is it right for a Landlady to lock up the well that everyone uses because of an issue with one of the tenants?

You are not wrong in anything here. Research a pro bono lawyer in Enugu or better still plan to pay the 50k in 5 instalments to a lawyer. I doubt there's a tenancy agreement between you and I strongly doubt that they have the right to stop your usage of water. (The video you have of them fetching water from same well will go a long way) The constitution favours the tenant in almost every aspect of tenancy related matters. Lies told police will not go too far but just prepare for bail conditions that won't be severe because we can't tell if they've bribed the IPO. The FIR from the police is what will determine how the first day in court goes.
Believe me you will rest from them if this matter goes to court as harassments will stop indefinitely.

Salvation in Christ is the very central goal of the Bible. It is the end-goal of Faith, Grace, Mercy and several other subjects of the scriptures.

The believer is instructed to properly study and understand it, and be diligent in teaching it.

So let's go back to answering the question we have at hand.
Is Once Saved, Always Saved Biblical?
The answer to this question largely depends on what you mean by "once saved, always saved"
This is because to some persons, the statement "once saved, always saved" is another way of saying "nothing you do as a Christian matters after salvation. The moment you are saved, you can go ahead and live as worldly as you want, you won't get punished for it. God doesn't and won't give a damn about that." This ideology is an error and certainly not what the "once saved, always saved" statement is all about. In the real sense, "once saved, always saved" is a catchphrase that addresses the durability or eternal nature of the Salvation we received when we appropriated the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for our sin(s).
With this understanding of what the statement is truly about, let's then do justice to the question from the scriptures.
Is once saved, always saved really biblical?
In talking about the Salvation, Redemption or Eternal Life we have in Christ, the Bible repeatedly used the words "once", "everlasting", "forever", "eternal", "true" and "once and for all" to describe how it occurred and the longevity.
Pay close attention as you read through the Bible verses outlined below. Meditate on each of them briefly.
Joh 3:16 KJV For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 10:28-29 KJV 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Heb 5:9 KJV And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.
Heb 9:12 KJV Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
Heb 9:15 KJV And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Heb 10:10-14 KJV 10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
But can't a believer lose his Salvation and go to hell (perish) if he's not careful after he has been saved? You may ask.
In answer to that question, take a look at these verses one more time and meditate on them.
"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand." John 10:28-29 KJV
The essence of Eternal Life is to keep the believer from perishing. Mind you, the believer is not the one keeping his Eternal Life from perishing. Eternal Life is actually what is keeping him from perishing. Whether he is careful how he lives his life on earth or not, that Eternal Life he has received continually keeps him from destruction.
However, a believer who foolishly lives in sin continually, will lose his rewards and will have nothing to show for his Salvation or Eternal Life in heaven.
Take note that I said he will lose his rewards in heaven, not his Salvation or Eternal Life. That is because the believer is committed with the responsibility of working for and keeping his heavenly rewards by living righteously on earth, not his Salvation or Eternal Life. That is God's part according to the scriptures.
Salvation (Eternal Life) is a gift he received on the basis of his Faith in the finished works of Christ, whereas heavenly rewards are dependent on his lifestyle while on earth here.
If he lives a godly lifestyle, a crown of glory awaits him in heaven. If he doesn't, he will not get anything reward from God in heaven though he is saved and shall spend eternity in heaven.
Eph 2:8-10 KJV 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
1Co 3:13-15 KJV 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
This is what the Bible teaches about Once Saved, Always Saved. It is purely biblical. Set aside any misconception you may have had about the catchphrase and see the eternal nature of Salvation as it has always been in the scriptures- open, simple and clear!
