That's the same mentality you hold.
There are much bigger achievements in life than getting political power,, travel out of the shores and you would understand.
Since like political power means so much to you, such a warped mentality 😲
It is better to stand for good and lose power than to kiss ass and gain power.
Such is what Wike has done all his life,,, from kissing PEJ ass to Kissing Amaechi ass to Kissing Tinubu ass.
That's what I believe you do in your real, natural life.
Fubara should not honour that agreement, it violates every tenet of democracy... He is already honouring the resolutions and there is nothing you can do about it. Get lost. |

coins501: My brother I tire for this your argument. You mentioned me when I said Wike was not winning simply because Fubara reappointed these guys as he already appointed PermSecs who will most likely not do their biddings. To you it doesn't matter because their are just civil servants but now you know that if they are hostile to the commissioners it would be counter productive and you're now asking what the commissioners who are not Sim's people are looking for? Except you don't want to accept reality which will eventually play out in our before, you should know that those commissioners will not be a problem to Sim. If you know as you claim to, you would be aware that during Wike's administration, most of the Commissioners were redundant. Commissioners are as powerful as the governor wants them to be. Abeg e don do Your problem is that you don't know what you are analysing. Those saying Wike has won, as saying so because the commissioners who resigned are set to return. It has nothing to do with them causing problem for the governor. Before they left, were they causing problems? You were trying to magnify and mystify the role of permanent secretaries. They have their role cut out for them in the civil service but answer to the commissioners. The commissioners have nothing to lose, if this government fails. So anything Fubara does to make the perm secs hostile to them, is counterproductive and to his detriment. Fubara is not Wike. He is Fubara and vice versa. To have power is one thing, to know how to use it, is another thing. In Fubara's case, he was even baby-fed with it. When some of those commissioners were redundant during Wike's government, what did you notice? Was he asleep? All the load was on him and he was all over the place. Especially that of works. Commissioners are there to make the work easy. |

Now he's refusing to obey Wike and then Wike had to discreetly run to Tinubu.
Now Tinubu can control Fubara but Wike cannot control Fubara, a man he handpicked into office.
If you can't decipher how this is embarrassing to Wike, then you need more intelligence and discretion. You are the one in need of intelligence. Clutching at straws to justify your weak and naive analysis. The influence of Wike continues to grow. Obviously, he has the ears of the president. Rebellion is the easiest thing. When the time for election comes, you will understand why foolish people lose power. |

He knew he had to run to Tinubu to coerce Sim Fubara to make those concessions.

The fight is still a long way to go. I don't see how since Wike handpicked him into office. When he wins an election on his own, then you can talk about that. |

coins501: . Lol, you're the one who's not seeing what is right in front of you bros. PermSecs are answerable to commissioners in the right condition not when they are put there specifically to frustrate you. The PermSecs are the administrative heads of ministries like the Head of Local Government Admin at the LGA level and every thing done passes through their table, you can't make anything off your office if you have hostile and uncooperative PermSecs. Only somebody who knows nothing about how government works will argue this. And by the way how would I feel better with these happenings? The point is that they answer to the political office holders who are the commissioners and by extension, the governor. Do not attempt to mystify their office. What are the commissioners looking for? Only a confused and unwise governor will instruct permanent secretaries to be hostile to the commissioners. It will be counterproductive and only hinder the administration of the governor. |

The word is foolish..,
Many rookie politicians have fought many godfathers in this country and the rate of success is very high...
With the support Fubara has, the worst case scenario that could befall him is losing our in 2027. At least he gets to rule for 4 years.
So he has to choose between being a bittch pupper governor for 8 years or fight like a man and stand up to a greedy and oppressive godfather but rule for 4 years.
Despite signing the agreement, Sim must break that agreement.
Rivers state cannot be in the pocket of Tinubu and Wike for 4 years. You are not fit to advise anyone. You lack a sense of context and will only lead Fubara to his doom. |

They even break agreements with the people.

Yes it is not legal, but governors do it all the time.
At some point Wike used caretakers. Tinubu used caretakers.
But I guess it was legal at that time right?
Right?? He will rather be foolish to do so. Are we going to go over this again? Why do you think the resolutions are being implemented in the first place? Does he have what it takes to do otherwise? Wike even used George Kelly, the SA on Special Projects, instead of the then Commissioner for Works until he later Appointed him as Commissioner for Works. New PermSecs were appointed yesterday to make their ministries uncomfortable for them. You're not up to speed Bros. Wike and his people are complaining bitterly everyday and you feel he is winning? Permanent secretaries are civil servants. They answer to the commissioners in their respective ministries. You guys will convince yourselves of anything just to feel better. ddippset: Fubara has to abide for now, to the 8 commandments of Tinubu..
His Supreme Court case is still undecided and Tinubu has come to Wike's rescue..
Even the representation of the budget, I know he will do it, he might send his deputy.
But the commandment I am still waiting for, is the one pertaining the Local Government elections.
He has been ordered not to appoint caretaker chairmen.
I do not expect him to abide by that one,, that wasn't a direct fall out of the crisis.
Governors are appointing caretakers across the country and you cannot command Sim not to.
If he obeys that one then he will dig his political grave. You can't pick and choose. Stop contradicting yourself. The directive not to appoint caretaker chairmen, was it in the resolution or not? He has to abide by all the things contained in the resolution and he has stated he will. Caretaker chairmen are unconstitutional anyway. |

In an interview with LEADERSHIP yesterday in Port Harcourt, Johnson said the screening of the former commissioners was part of the eight-point resolution reached during the peace meeting brokered by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja. The former commissioners include Professor Zacchaeus Adangor, Dr. Jacobson Mbina, Dr. Gift Worlu, Mrs Inime Chinwenwo- Aguma and Engr. Chukwuemeka Woke.

by Anayo Onukwugha The Rivers State House of Assembly, on Wednesday, rescreened and cleared all nine former Commissioners for re-appointment into the cabinet of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
LEADERSHIP reports that Fubara had few days ago resubmitted the names of the nine nominees, who in November, 2023 resigned from his cabinet in the wake of a political crisis between him and the immediate-past governor of the state, Nyesom Wike apparently in solidarity with the latter.
However, the former commissioners were not subjected to any question as they were asked to take ‘a bow and leave’ the chamber. https://leadership.ng/just-in-rivers-assembly-clears-9-ex-commissioners-for-fubaras-cabinet/
