You are heading to the jurisprudential realm of law and morality. You need to understand the doctrine of separation of powers and the principle of checks and balances.

The legislature has the constitutional power to commence impeachment proceedings against the governor on the grounds of gross misconduct and only it can define what constitutes gross misconduct. Get that into your skull.

You dont know the power a governor has. The only person above a governor in Nigeria is the president and only the president not even his vice. And the power of the president on the governor is very very limited.

I know the powers of the governor. It is not a mystery. They are all contained in the constitution and I have read them.

If assembly members are loyal to a governor, they can turn a blind eye to some things but that doesn't change the position of the law. Fubara is in a different situation with the assembly.

The governor would have stopped this political crisis but he is not sincere. He should take what he gets. When he is listening to people like that unwise loud mouth called David Briggs, who is always attacking Wike but thinks Peter Odili is a god. Respect is reciprocal. The earlier Odili prevails on his attack dog and also Fubara to implement all the resolutions and re-present the budget, the better for the state.

My advice to Wike is that he should win people over. He is already trying to tackle this insecurity issue in the FCT but he should work with Senator Kingibe and other elected officials. Carry them along, as it is usually said.
