All those claiming Ijaw in Rivers state ought to have joined Bayelsa in 1996 as the military government then asked all Ijaws to indicate themselves and join Bayelsa. They all denied being Ijaw then. Now we cannot drink water and drop cup. Bayelsa people especially are just instigating problem in Rivers state.

Mind you, Igboid group and Ogonis opted for Port Harcourt state, devoid of Riverine people, instead Abacha granted Bayelsa for Ijaws. Kalabari and other Riverine people now in Rivers state refused. I don't know why they are ranting unnecessarily.
