executive12: That's true. After all, a thug (Omo Agege) who led other thugs into the hallowed chambers to snatch the mace was made Deputy Senate President. It was even viewed by the whole world yet the guy has been rewarded with the Deputy Senate President position. Vandjje was seen on live video collected fleece yet Buhari raised his corrupt hand as a governorship candidate for APC. The case against Abbo has been established and he will appear in court and I pray he is dealt with accordingly. It is clear that the Senate is only playing politics with this which is because very soon an APC senator will be in the public domain; then we will see what action will be taken then. |

Metrixnews: The Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu has advised Ndigbo not to be too expectant in the APC led federal government, saying the South East region refused to vote massively for the party in the last election.
The former governor dropped the hint at an event in his Camp Neya home in Igbere to thank his constituents for voting him into the Nigerian Senate.
He said: “Our people did not support APC. We did not vote for the president and that is what we are paying for.
“We are not entitled to anything when we did not vote for APC so we cannot ask for the Senate President or Deputy President.
“I am not only a senator for Abia north, I am a senator for Abia and Federal Republic of Nigeria because I was elected to make good laws for the whole Nigeria,” he said.
Source: https://www.abnews247.com/2019/06/dont-expect-anything-from-apc-led-federal-government-sen-kalu-advises-ndigbo/ So, so childish and petty coming from supposed adults. If you claim to be a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria elected to make good laws for the whole of Nigeria, so also is the President elected to execute those laws for the whole of Nigeria and not selected based on some archaic voting pattern. |

Ferdinandu: According to the story, the drug was not planted inside a bag that belongs to her rather a bag containing the drugs was tagged as her bag at the kano airport, they know she won't claim the bag at Saudi because she was not aware of it's existence but the drug cartel contact person will immediately claim the bag at the Saudi airport after it must have gone through the necessary security checks without detection . But unfortunately if the Authorities at the Saudi airport single out the drug for special searching then name tag will show that she is the owner and cartels will forget the bag but she now becomes the drug courier. I was thinking like you before I found out the way they plan the whole scheme which seems really smart on their part. Only God knows how many people are in death row because of these evil men Waooo!!! this act is so evil. Although the quick response of the government in this particular case is really heating the polity considering its approach in past cases, Nigerians should really look into this issue of set up by drug cartels at the airport. Why don't we canvass for a system that gives a passenger an input into how your luggage are tagged? Listed among the items on the tag, the number of luggage a passenger is carrying should be indicated on the tags. for example if i have 3 luggage; bag one should be 1/3; bag two should be 2/3; bag three should be 3/3 etc. The passenger should also have a copy of these tags. If there is an additional bag, definitely the passenger can't have 4/3 as the case may be. |

When supposed adults talk like children, it shows how low we have fallen as a nation. Such a petty remark. OUK didn't say he wants to be Senate President, he only asked for fairness in the sharing formula. You don't expect everyone to vote for you in an election which is just a mere process of electing leaders. Once you are elected, you put all differences aside and work for the good of all. Doing so, you will even win the hearts of those who didn't vote for you the last time and they can vote for you this time around. All this 95% and 5% is so childish and irritating, especially coming from supposed leaders. |

Nigeria is probably the only country in the world that pay coup plotters in the name of being Ex-Head of States. Useless country Spot on bro! It should be such that no body who became head of state or president through coup should enjoy any benefits as a former leader, especially the ones that overthrew a democratically elected government. |

Catalyst4real: Success is just one lucky girl, there are millions of unidentified children out there who are actually going through worse. Her own is school fees, some children can barely feed. It's time to shift the attention from this girl and promote more videos like that, since we need to see it In mp4 to get truly moved Well said! It is not just about the girl, Success. It is an exposure of the rot and hypocrisy of governments all over the country as regards basic education. I wish videos of such decay in educational facilities can be tweeted all over internet to put the government on its toes. The kind of infrastructure as displayed in subsequent videos from the "Success" episode is enough to ensure the government of the day isn't returned. Unfortunately the likes of Okowa and others have been returned to continue with the mediocrity that abounds in the educational sector. Until a governor builds a school which his children can attend comfortably, he has done nothing. |
