Monstertrucks: Between arsenal And her?? laughing my Ass off grin grin so rich clubs like madrid nd strong clubs like chelsea no dey again,na arsenal wey dust don cover their trophy room grin
Bros win or lose, arsenal plays the most sexy football on earth (just likebarca or our u-17 Eaglets). Chelsea (wit their bruttish approachto games) or their like can't match that. I think the woman watches arsenal at home (while the hubby goes to the viewing centre) and is intimidated by their captivating style of play which is threatening her position.
Let him take her along to watch arsenal play. She just might be his comfort whenever arsenal doesn't meet up.

Afam4eva: I make mistakes almost everyday but i don't hold any political office. Political office holders are saddled with the responsibility of being civil with their countenance and choice of words. The onyl reason you're having a soft spot for Osho is because of his party affiliation. Had it been Jonathan that told someone to go and die, we won't hear the last of it. Let's learn to speak the truth irrespective of what political divide we align with.
My dear, what the governor did initially was wrong though out of anger and he has remedied it by apologising. PDP only tried to play politics with the situation which is wrong. PDP on a daily basis tells Nigerians to go and die by their actions and that is why they are called Papa Deceiving Pickin.

Nigerians! Stop fighting and calling yourself names over policies of the elites. The aircraft issue is a little thing which demands human wisdom applied on the following way. Those in favour of the aircraft should feel free to fly in it others have options elsewhere.

henrychubayo: Sometimes, when u have a first hand experience of armed robbery attack, you won't feel pity for these guy.

I still remember my good friend Ejike. He was working but didn't get paid on time. So he decide to use Okada to make small money for evening food. He was called by one lady selling recharge card to take her home. The were attacked and this guys shot Ejike twice in his heart. He died. So sad.

If this boy is armed with gun, he can do anything to get his way. So my brothers, sometimes, don't feel pity for this guys if you don't know the real story. If he acted things prescribe by death penalty in the law, he should face it. But for me, let it be reduced to life atlest.
so on point my brother. We should not be carried away by emotions here whether the boy is a somebody or nobody. The fact remains he had a gun-toy or not, he had the tendency to kill. What we should be crying out for is s total overhaul of the criminal system to include all form of corruption including pen robbery, fake drugs, pension fraud, election rigging etc. What is good for the geese is good for the gander.

Tranquill: You are sounding like Jega is the only problem. Are we all not in this country? What is wrong with the electoral system is mainly the politicians. While Jega may be planning for a credible election, the politicians are planning on how to subvert the system and be declared winner and its not just from one party but all the parties. Its not really about Jega but the 'WE MUST WIN ' mentality.
this rot will continue until we start arresting, prosecuting and evidently jail these so called politicians.

Christianity EtcRe: Why Are People Dancing Azonto And Makossa In Church? by bong4(m): 6:02pm On Nov 03, 2013
Ukuts gp: Is like some people definitely does not know the difference between church and disco hall.

On sunday when you go to church, during the praises you will see people dancing Azonto and Makossa.
You will see young boys and girls rocking, dancing Azonto and makossa style.

I dont know why people who say they christians are dancing such worldly dance which are invented from the kingdom of darkness.
I cant even imagine myself dancing in such a manner. Cant a christian dance in a simple and godly way? Must it be Azonto and makossa which are satanic in origin?

Even those playing the musical instrument are not even helping matters, as they play all these worldly and ungodly makossa beats and sounds.

I almost want to tell one lady dancing that way close to me to stop dancing that way but i just control myself. I dont just like such dance, it is worldly. Or what do you think. Is dancing Azonto and makossa style proper in church? To me i dont like it. I dont know if i am the only one thinking that way. Thanks.
if you are really concerned with worshipping God, you wont have time observing others dancing how much more knowing the names of the dance steps. You must be practicing these dance steps secretly to differentiate one from the other.

Don't mind him. No Camerounian is intelligent enough to create something like nairaland. Ordinary sports competitions they can't host. No democracy...practising oldmancracy. How can a man lead a country for decades? With what technology will he tackle today's challenges? I'm sure tablets are yet to get there. If not for Samuel Eto, i'd be wondering what good thing can come out of Cameroun.

SportsRe: Calabar Chosen For Nigeria-Ethiopia WC Playoff by bong4(m): 4:02pm On Oct 05, 2013
Nigerians must everything divide us? Can't we thank God for football at least. Even akwaibomites are envious of super eagles playing next door. That's how they struggled bakassi with Cross River while Cameroun was busy solidifying its facts. I wont be surprise if some haters dress as Ethiopians in order to ridicule Calabar. God pass all of una cos true to its name, the 'esuene' stadium will be a shame ground for any opposing team. Up Naija anywhere.....

greatgod2012: This life!
Never consider anyone as a sworn enemy. This is worth learning from.
Agagu and Mimiko were sworn enemies when he(Agagu) was alive, but now, he(Mimiko) is the one fixing burial date.
Let us always learn.

Ma his soul RIP.
They were not sworn enemies but had their political differences, vintage all other politicians. Agagu tried his best while in power but his offence was not being elected properly. Though he had his shortcomings but he was a gentleman. The court threw him out and there was no violence whatever in Ondo State. How many sitting governors can stomach that. May he rest in peace and as others have noted, the rich, the middle class or the poor all have one thing in common - DEATH! the inevitable end.

FamilyRe: Is My Son's School "Over Teaching?" by bong4(m): 12:34pm On Sep 18, 2013
hmm and i am here complaining that my son in KG One (2 yrs 2 mnths) is given homework every day to write '1' and 'A'. The boy sef will write up to three lines and start rebelling that he wants to play ball or watch cartoon. That is after staying from 8am till 4pm in school. My own challenge is how to get him do his homework every evening when he should be resting, sleeping or playing. I understand weekend homework but everyday.... Someone should help out here.
FamilyRe: Is My Son's School "Over Teaching?" by bong4(m): 11:44am On Sep 18, 2013
onegig: They are over burdening the child. Don't be suprised most of what they teach these kids is route memorization and nothing else. A kid that can read from 1 to 100 would fail if you ask him to read just 50 to 1 backwards. Also most of then know 20 times 20 but just place three cups on one side of the table and another on the other side and ask them whats the total and see how dumb founded these kids would be.
reading 50 to 1 backwards is simply MADNESS and i know nobody wants his/her child to end up that way.
FamilyRe: Is My Son's School "Over Teaching?" by bong4(m): 11:26am On Sep 18, 2013
comprende: My son is just 4 years five months old and has just moved to the Nursery two equivalent in his school.

I kind of worried about the level of education they are providing, as I feel it is far above what a child his age should be put through. My wife is ok with it though and has told be to stop fussing. I'm putting my concerns on this forum to find out if my fears are unfounded or if I need to move my son to another school. Let me explain further.

My belief is that a child in Nursery school should mainly be involved with rhymes, art, counting a few numbers, learning the alphabet and a few basic English words. But while in Nursery one, my son's school has been teaching him to write numbers from 1 - 120 for instance, reading words and making sentences, some little addition and subtraction. Now in Nursery two, they have started learning vowels and consonants, making sentences and writing them, and I don't know yet if they might introduce multiplication and division!!!

Maybe my I'm too old school but my memories of nursery school were painting, singing nursery rhymes and playing with plasticine. I don't want to agree with the idea that times have changed cos these schools copy the American and British syllabuses, yet they force these kids to learn stuff meant for classes a step or two higher.

I'm throwing this to parents out there. Please advice.

mayorall: Alright. Am happy you are real omoluabi, you didn't reply with abusive words as its the culture of kids on nairaland.

I will say the main reason why the schools are wearing same uniform is cos of the merge.
Ipinle Omoluabi is graciously reforming its educational sector. Some schools are been demolished to make available the modern ones, the students of the demolished schools merged with other schools, it won't be okay for same school to be wearing different uniforms, it will always create demarcation between the students and this will promote grudges and riots between the two parties.
You are always welcome bro. Have a blessed weekend
