libertyhope2017:
Nnamdi Kanu said something few years ago on Radio that if you observe people who show off material things, that if you go and find out their background, they come from a very poor family, especially if their wealth is gotten not from hard work. Because they have never had the opportunity to taste those material things when they were poor, as soon as they get a little money from questionable source(without hardwork), they buy those things they have long to have.

He went further, no successful freedom fighter in the world came from a poor family; not one. That's why they could never be bought with money or material things...BECAUSE THEY HAVE TESTED IT AND KNOW IT MEANS NOTHING. He gave example of Ojukwu; despite his father being the richest man in Nigeria then, and having access to the best life in the world, Ojukwu saw all these things as meaningless, instead his goal was freedom of his people. He is coming to Uwazurike...LOL. He said because Uwazurike came from a very poor family, that he cannot be a freedom fighter because if they give him a house or 50 million, because he has never tested those material things before, he will take it.Lol.

Reminds of Dino Maleye; not shocking he came from a very poor family and always showing off. You will never see Sen. Saraki showing off like this because he has enjoyed all these growing up.
The guy ended up looking like cartoon sef...red, red everywhere.

For the records. At the Twilight of Obasanjo's administration he made the then EFCC boss to investigate the entire 36 state governors and ONLY Donald Duke was 100 percent clean.....
So I was shocked why Obasanjo would choose Jonathan over Duke as yaradua's running mate
Duke is smarter than Jonathan. Those guys were looking for a lackey.
Christianity EtcRe: "This Is Why Pastors Need Prayers" - Photo Of Lady At Church Event Trends Online by bong4(m): 2:47pm On Oct 05, 2017
asuustrike2009:
Yes it's good to pray for pastors. But most pastors are at fault for such dressing. They allow such dressing to church in the name of it doesn't matter because God sees the heart. You rarely see Muslim ladies dressing like this
My brother, any dress or outfit no good for the church is not good elsewhere. Our body is the temple of the Most High God. So wherever we carry our body, we represent God also.
People may not sag to church but does it make it right to sag outside? Being turned on by a lady may be wrong in church, is it then right outside. Our minds should be renewed daily to become like Christ. This is how we win battles over sin and the devil. We are suppose to be the light of the world and salt of the earth and not just in the church.

I have tried it. Normally I used to purchase my data from a data dealer who is a nairalander. I have been patronising him all these while not until my data got exhausted during weekend. Called to purchase 2GB from him and promised to deposit his money the following Monday but didn't accept the deal. So , I purchase directly from 9mobile their 1GB monthly plan. When I received the confirmation message , I was surprised to see ,You can stream YouTube from 1AM to 5AM. I thought it was another joke from 9mobile again not until I gave it a try and went through. I used it to watch complete full movies for 3 bloody nights before it gets exhausted and received a message that my free YouTube streaming data had been exhausted. All these while, they never touched my main 1GB plan.
It is working, though it is the fact that your main data plan won't be affecting that i am yet to clarify because most times, ny data pkan runs as the youtube video is running,
PoliticsRe: We Can’t Disclose Our Allowances – Senate by bong4(m): 9:28am On Sep 11, 2017
LocalChamp:
Published September 11, 2017

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Senator Aliyu Abdullahi, has lamented the constant harassment of the Senate by Nigerians, adding that the upper legislative chamber cannot disclose its salaries and allowances.

Abdullahi said this during a live programme on Channels Television titled, ‘Politics Today.’

The Senate spokesman also refused to state how much the lawmakers earned in salary and allowances.

When asked to say how much he earned, Abdullahi said it was rude of the presenter to ask him how much each senator earned.

Abdulahi said, “You don’t expect me to come out on national television to say this is what I earn. It is not done. I cannot ask you as a journalist how much you earn. It is not done.

“If anybody is interested in how much we are getting paid, you know where to get the information. The documents are available. If Nigerians won’t believe that, is it what I will say that they will believe?”

The Senate spokesman said the figures released by the Chairman, Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN), were false, adding that the Senate’s budget was not even as high as what Sagay released.

He said Sagay was only trying to cause unnecessary tension between the National Assembly and the Presidency.

When confronted with the figures exclusively obtained by Channels Television which put the salary and allowances of each senator at N14m per month and House of Representatives members as N8m per month, Abdullahi said he could not confirm or deny the figures.

Abdullahi said the cost of democracy was not as high as the cost of not having democracy and Nigerians should look on the bright side.

He added, “This issue has become a recurring decimal. In the last two years people have been discussing this matter and I always ask myself, what do people really want to believe? I think if this subject matter has been discussed for two years and we are still looking at issues wrongly, then I think there is something wrong with us.

“The institutions that are responsible for providing this information are there. A law was promulgated on Top Salary Scale also known as TOPSA and it is based on this scale that everyone who holds one political office or the other gets paid.

“I want to also submit that I presume Prof. Sagay would have been paid based on the provision of this scale. For us in the National Assembly, the question needs to be asked ‘what is the cost of having democracy and what is the cost of not having democracy?’”

Sagay (SAN), had said last week that a Nigerian senator earns N29m per month.

“From the information I have gathered, a Nigerian senator earns about N29m a month and over N3bn a year,” the professor said.

He added, “Basic salary N2,484,245.50; hardship allowance, 1,242, 122.70; constituency allowance N4, 968, 509.00; furniture allowance N7, 452, 736.50; newspaper allowance N1, 242, 122.70.

“Wardrobe allowance N621,061.37; recess allowance N248, 424.55; accommodation 4,968,509.00; utilities N828,081.83; domestic staff N1,863,184.12; entertainment N828,081.83; personal assistant N621,061.37; vehicle maintenance allowance N1,863,184.12; leave allowance N248,424.55; severance gratuity N7, 425,736.50; and motor vehicle allowance N9, 936,982.00.”

I use a samsung note 4 but frequent restarting, charging issues etc plus all the money spent on frequent repairs got me tired. So was glad when infinix announced the note4 pro. The pen is the main thing in the phone. Ideas come at the flash of light and you don't have a pen and paper to put it down. One has to take notes on the go, thus the importance of the pen.

I made this observation immediately the note 4 pro came into the Nigerian market:

I just decided to wait until the xpen is included. Jumia has it finally.

And let me give a little education too, u can hardly (if not never) find a federal road in a condition like this in the north WHY?
must u think everything is about pdp and apc or pmb and GEJ.
So because gej(whose govt too is a failure) did not construct the road pmb too should not construct the road
tomorrow u will condemn people following kanu, why won't they agitate seeing the state of their region

I called and confirmed from Mizbeach that the Phone is available in their store in lagos (Pen Cinema) with the Xpen for N66,000. I am not in Lagos, so anyone around that axis can confirm. The phone should also come with a pouch where the xpen is inserted.
PhonesRe: Unboxing Of Infinix Note 4 Pro/first Impression by bong4(m): 8:29pm On Aug 10, 2017
What were their reasons for not including the xpen? The xpen is the 'pro' in the note4. No xpen, no note4 pro. Hope they are not selling it separately.

Zither:
Yes, of course. We Christians don't need boats or ships because we can walk on water like Jesus did, we don't need to ferment wine when we can turn water to wine, we can call down fire from heaven on anyone who pisses us or interrupts our favourite sports programme, we don't die because after three days we rise again, we don't need medicine when down with sickness because Christ has healed us so begone with your tablets and prescriptions; my faith is all I need. Who needs to save money in a bank when we have treasures stored up in heaven for us. Spits. No bank on earth will have my penny. And yes, you're right. We Christians don't need all these modern technological advancement in the church. They are all useless. The Apostles of old did not use POS or microphones or cars or the internet or planes or bikes so the church today don't need them. We should do everything manually. Technology and science are useless to preachers and the church - oh ye of little faith. Thank you for reading.

Lest I be accused of plagiarism I would like to appreciate Akitom and durentchigozie for these words of wisdom that will echo through time and timelessness. I hope Christians see the futility of taking advantage of technological and scientific advancement in religious setting through their infantile, sorry, inspiring argument. Claps for them
God bless you jaare...i wonder how the use of pos will increase or reduce the offerring or tithe. All these boko haram christians.

Nigerians are generally good. I have been drumming it into the ears of my people that those marginalising us are not outsiders but our brothers in politics.
For the past 18 years every state and LGA is run by her own citizens but we got nothing but mass looting to show for it.
The politicians only remember their tribes when they are schemed out by their counterparts and then start shouting marginlisation. None of the serving gorvernors or Lga chairmen will talk of marginalisation until they are out o f office. Those being marginalised are just me and you, the ordinary citizens, wether you are from the east, west, north or south.
Breaking up is no solution to our problem.
You are the kind of Nigerian i want to meet one day. Statemanship at its best. God bless you.
