My point is, our problem is not about where people come from, it is just some few greedy ones amongst us irrespective of where they come from and we should condemn them as such. OBJ, TINUBU, DIMEJI, FACROOK, ETTEH ATIKU, IBB, ANENIH, GEJ, DIEZANI, IGBINEDION, ABACHA, ABDULSALAM, most previous and serving Governors irrespective of state...e.t.c are all culpable for Nigeria's woes. There are numerous incidents of officers been shot at a random stop so they have to be alert (nothing new). High way 5 was were I got a speeding ticket while driving to Los Angeles for an event. I was going over the speed limit and the nice, white officer reduced the citation limit to 85 instead of 110 that was showing on his radar. He was very friendly at first encounter and I had to apologize . As a guy that is fresh from the Boat, make sure you attend a university though. The dude looked through it and asked me if I had been drinking (it wad a Friday night). I said nope. He then asked me why I was driving with fog lights. He then reached into my car and switched on the low beam and the other light. He then spent a little time lecturing me on how to use my lights. He then said, "I WILL NOT CITE YOU BUT BE CAREFUL NEXT TIME". He then handed me my license and returned to his car.

He was a white cop. Young gung-ho looking fella. Moreover when it comes to brutality and abuse of power, nobody does it better than LA's finest

This white cop let me off because I was polite and courteous. He could have been "racist" and written me a ticket because I was at fault. Or even told me to step out of the vehicle and given me an embarassing patdown. But he didn't. I didn't give him reason to.

Conclusion: the police are egoistic nazis who are ready to taze or shoot anyone at anytime. Smart-mouthing an officer wouldn't make them any smaller or add anything to you.

In all though, Nigerians in states are no better. They are like Crab in the basket, everyone wants to know what you ate for breakfast. My advice for those that came to states few years ago, avoid having Nigerians in your circle of friends cos they will never give you information to succeed.
