Hello, first and foremost i will advice you to remove that domain name from your post cos it seems u need it badly. Anybody including me can quickly register the .co,.net and other valuable extensions and then try to come back and sell it for you at exhorbitant price. Secondly,i checked the domain name and it has privacy on it meaning that the owner don't want to be identified. However,his/her phone no is available so u can give him a call. To get the details about the domain just type the name of the domain and whois on google e.g holywater.com whois. On the .co or .net question,i personally prefer .net to .co.

Health‎Nigeria Doctors Commence ‘total And Indefinite’ Strike, Tuesday – NMA President by born2lead01(op): 3:58pm On Jun 30, 2014
‎Nigeria doctors commence ‘total and indefinite’ strike, Tuesday – NMA President

The Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, on Monday announced plan to embark on an indefinite strike, starting from Tuesday, July 1.

The NMA President, Kayode Obembe, who made the announcement at a news conference in Abuja, said the decision followed the expiration of a two-week ultimatum it gave the Federal Governmentto meet its 24-point demand.Mr. Obembe, said the association opted for a “total and indefinite strike” at an emergency delegates meeting held on June 28, after negotiations with the federal government failed to yield relevant results.

“The NMA is taking this painful route because our silence and gentle approach to these contending issues have been taken for granted,” he said.

“We have to take this action in order to save the health care delivery system from anarchy that is palpably imminent.”

He appealed for understanding, and called on Nigerians to prevail on the government to meet the demands.

The NMA president read out an open letter addressed to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation in which the association listed the 24 ssues it wanted the government to address.

The letter, entitled, “Minimum End Point for Restoration of Sustainable Sanity in Patient Care in Nigerian Hospitals’’, was jointly signed by Mr. Obembe, NMA Secretary-General, Adewumi Alayaki, and all heads of its affiliate bodies.

Some of the major issues include reserving the position of chief medical director to only medical doctors, appointment of Surgeon General of the Federation, passage of National Health Bill and providing security for doctors.

The NMA also wants “increase in duty, hazard and specialist allowances, as well as budget for residency training programme”.

It called for the reintegration of its members into the IPPIS platform, and reserving the title of consultants to only medical doctors, among others.(NAN)

HealthCourt Stops Implementation of FG/JOHESU Agreement by born2lead01(op): 3:58pm On Jun 29, 2014
Court stops implementation of FG/JOHESU agreement

The crisis between the Federal Government and health workers in Nigeria took another dimension on Friday with the National Industrial Court stopping the Federal Government from implementing the agreement it had earlier reached with the Joint Health Sector Union.

Justice M.N. Esowe in his judgment obtained by journalists on Sunday in Abuja ordered all parties in the case to “maintain the status quo in order to preserve the RES of the matter.”

The workers have scheduled a nationwide strike to begin on Tuesday over non-implementation of its agreement with government on June 5 2014.

Justice Esowe said, “This means that no parties shall proceed to do any act in furtherance of any agreement reached by the parties, which arguments from the kernel or subject matter of this motion before the Court.

“Nobody or party in this case shall embark on any strike action until the Motion on Notice which is already filed in this Court is heard and determined. This matter is now adjourned till July 10 2014 for the hearing and determination of the Motion of Notice.”

The Incorporated Trustees of Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria had in the suit number NICN/ABJ/177/2014, asked the NIC to restrain the Federal Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labour and Productivity and Attorney-a General of the Federation from implementing, executing, carrying out or giving effect to the decisions, resolutions and agreements that were reached at a meeting that was held in Abuja between JOHESU and governmenton June 5 2014.

The President of MDCAN, Dr. Steven Oluwole, had deposed to an affidavit challenging the agreements reached between the Federal Government and JOHESU.

The MDCAN went to court to challenge the implementation of a circular recently released by government following the agitation of JOHESU, which among others provides for the approval of Consultancy positions for support staff; abolition of Deputy Chairman Medical Advisory Committee position and appointment of support staff as Directors.

Other aspects of the agreement include referral of the following to the Yayale Ahmed Committee: elimination of medical teachers from eligibility for headship of Teaching Hospitals; and re-interpretation of “medically qualified,” which is a key phrase in the University Teaching Hospital Act.

Foreign AffairsFacebook Manipulated 689,003 Users' Emotions For Science by born2lead01(op):
Facebook is the best human research lab ever. There’s no need to get experiment participants to sign pesky consent forms as they’ve already agreed to the site’s data use policy.

A team of Facebook data scientists are constantly coming up with new ways to study human behavior through the social network. When the team releases papers about what it’s learned from us, we often learn surprising things about Facebook — such as the fact that it can keep track of the status updates we never actually post.

Facebook has played around with manipulating people before — getting 60,000 to rock the vote in 2012 that theoretically wouldn’t have otherwise — but a recent study shows Facebook playing a whole new level of mind gamery with its guinea pigs users.

As first noted byAnimal New York, Facebook’s data scientists manipulated the News Feeds of 689,003 users, removing either all of the positive posts or all of the negative posts to see how it affected their moods. If there was a week in January 2012 where you were only seeing photos of dead dogs or incredibly cute babies, you may have been part of the study.

Now that the experiment is public, people’s mood about the study itself would best be described as “disturbed.”

The researchers, led by data scientist Adam Kramer, found that emotions were contagious. “When positive expressions were reduced, people produced fewer positive posts and more negative posts; when negative expressions were reduced, the opposite pattern occurred,” according to the paper published by the Facebook research team in the PNAS.

“These results indicate that emotions expressed by others on Facebook influence our own emotions, constituting experimental evidence for massive-scale contagionvia social networks.”

The experiment ran for a week — January 11–18, 2012 — during which the hundreds of thousands of Facebook users unknowingly participating may have felt either happier or more depressed than usual, as they saw either more of their friends posting ’15 Photos That Restore Our Faith In Humanity’ articles or despondent status updates about losing jobs, getting screwed over by X airline, and already failing to live up to New Year’s resolutions. “*Probably* nobody was driven to suicide,”tweeted one professor linking to the study, adding a “#jokingnotjoking” hashtag.

The researchers — who may not have been thinking about the optics of a “Facebook emotionally manipulates users” study — jauntily note that the study undermines people who claim that looking at our friends’ good lives on Facebook makes us feel depressed.

“The fact that people were more emotionally positive in response to positive emotion updates from their friends stands in contrast to theories that suggest viewing positive posts by friends on Facebook may somehow affect us negatively,” they write.

They also note that when they took all of the emotional posts out of a person’s News Feed, that person became “less expressive,” i.e. wrote less status updates. So prepare to have Facebook curate your feed with the most emotional of your friends’ posts if they feel you’re not posting often enough.

So is it okay for Facebook to play mind games with us for science? It’s a cool finding but manipulating unknowing users’ emotional states to get there puts Facebook’s big toe on that creepy line.

Facebook’s data use policy— that I’m sure you’ve all read— says Facebookers’ information will be used “for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research and service improvement,” making all users potential experiment subjects.

And users know that Facebook’s mysterious algorithms control what they see in their News Feed. But it may come as a surprise to users to see those two things combined like this. When universities conduct studies on people, they have to run them by an ethics board first to get approval — ethics boards that were created because scientists were getting too creepy in their experiments, getting subjects to think they were shocking someone to death in order to study obedience and letting men live with syphilis for study purposes.

A 2012 profile of theFacebook data team noted, “ Unlike academic social scientists, Facebook’s employees have a short path from an idea to an experiment on hundreds of millions of people.”

I’ve reached out to Facebook to find out what the review process was here. Via@ZLeeily, the PNAS editor on the article says this study did pass muster with an Institutional Review Board, but we’ll see if it passes muster with users.

Ideally, Facebook would have a consent process for willing study participants: a box to check somewhere saying you’re okay with being subjected to the occasional random psychological experiment that Facebook’s data team cooks up in the name of science. As opposed to the commonplace psychological manipulation cooked up advertisers trying to sell you stuff.

RomanceThe 8 Worst Reasons To Get Married by born2lead01(op): 3:16pm On Jun 29, 2014
Many marriages have ended in divorce because guys believed they were ready without having ever really considered what marriage entails. Most of these same men ignored their inner voice and walked down the aisle even when they sensed their relationship was doomed, only later to painfully discover that they made a terrible mistake. Marriage isn’t something to be taken lightly, and a lot of guys walk into it for all the wrong reasons. The reasons below are some of the worst you can possibly use to get married.

1. Unplanned pregnancy

Getting married only because your girlfriend is pregnant is bad for everyone concerned, including the baby. If you want to be an active part of your child’s life, you don’t have to be in a loveless, unsuitable marriage of convenience to do it. Kids do not make marriages work.

2. Financial reasons

A marriage built solely on money and materialism is like building a house on sand. When the wind blows, your marriage will crumble. If money is the motivating forcein a marriage it is certain to be an empty, cold relationship without affection.

3. Her looks

A beautiful woman may look pleasing to the eye and may have a body that is desirable, but at the same time might have a terrible personality that will make her very difficult to live with once the honeymoon is over. Deciding to marry a woman solely on the basis of her physical appearance could lead to a disastrous relationship. What a woman is like on the inside is always going to be more important than her outer beauty.

4. Family pressure

When family gets involved, whether it is pushing you to marry a certain girl or you are expected to marry a girl within a certain race or social status, there is a problem. Pressure from your family to finally tie the knot, provide grandchildren or someone to carry on the family name are never good reasons to get hitched. Determining if a woman is “wife material” should not be a group decision.

5. You’re tired of being single

It is certainly better to be single than settling for a woman you don’t truly love and being miserable. Being the only unwed guy in the group may feel a bit awkward, but it’s nothing compared to the agony you’ll feel by getting hitched just to ensure that you’re not the odd man out.

6. It seems like the next logical step

Although the logical sequenceof a man’s life usually includes starting a great career, buying a nice car and having a nice house, marriage doesn’t have to be one of the steps. Everyone takes different paths in life, and it’s possible that yours doesn’t necessarily include a walk down the aisle.

7. You owe it to her

Just because you’ve been with a woman for a long time, doesn’t mean that she is the one for you. In fact, some studies show quite clearly that the longer people date before marriage, the more likely they’ll get divorced.

8. Thinking you can make it work

There is a misconception that being married solidifies a broken relationship. On the contrary, it can actually emphasize what is wrong andcreate more problems in the partnership. When a man marries a woman because hewants to “fix”, or “improve” her, there is going to be major problems.

PoliticsBoko Haram: 100 Feared Killed As Insurgents Attack Chibok by born2lead01(op): 2:56pm On Jun 29, 2014
Five churches, including COCIN, EYN and Deeper Life Bible Church, in Kwada village about 10 kilometres from Chibok town, were on Sunday attacked by Boko Haram insurgents.

The attackers, according to report from locals in Chibok, targeted the time when worshipers were ready for the Sunday Service.

“They killed and burnt houses after attacking worshipers in five churches in Kwada; after that, they advanced to Kautikari, less than 8 kilometres to Chibok town, where they equally killed people and destroyed properties.

“I’m not sure security agencies have gone to rescue the villagers, but I learnt that the insurgents are still in pursuit of the remaining villagers”, Mallam Yahi told DailyPost.

It was gathered that residents of Chibok town have also fled their homes, following the news of the attacks in Kwada and Kautikari.

DailyPost recalls that few weeks ago, there was panic in Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State, following a letter purportedly written to them by the sect members.

A top local government official in Chibok town, who did not want his name in print revealed this to newsmen in Maiduguri the Borno State capital on Sunday.

According to him, when they met the police with the letter, they were assured of maximum protection. He, however, said the police were also complaining of fuel for their vehicle.

He said the local government had also assured the security operatives that they were going to buy fuel for them.

He said, “whenever Boko Haram members tell you that they are coming, they never fail to come. Our fears now is that we don’t know when and how they are going to come.

“We are calling for prayers as well as on government to provide us with adequate security in Chibok”.

On the ongoing attacks in the area, it was gathered that a police officer, Peter Maina was called out during Sunday service in Church in Maiduguri, to be informed that his brother was killed at Kwada.

Meanwhile, the Chibok Community in Maiduguri broke into a session of prayer on Sunday after receiving the news of ongoing attacks on the two villages.

ComputersHow To Access Your Computer From Your Android Smartphone by born2lead01(op): 8:52am On Jun 28, 2014
There are lots of ways to remotely access your computer but google has it’s own solution that let’s you view your Mac or PC from your Android device.

The setup is really simple.First launch Chrome on your PC and install “Chrome Remote Desktop” this works for Mac and Windows.

Once it’s installed open the app and grant it permission for remote access.

Now you’ve got two options: the first is useful if you’re trying to troubleshoot a friends/family’s computer, you’ll want to set this up on a friends computer if they are constantly bothering you for technical support. The second option is good if you want to access your own machine.

Before I can continue there’s one additional piece of software to install that will give your Android permissionto access the computer remotely. When that’s all set, the last thing to do is to choose a Pin, so that any random person can’t just access your computer when they swipe your phone.

The second part of this equation happens on your Android device where you’ll be accessing your computer. Just install the Chrome Remote Desktop App from the Google Play Store and make sure that when you’re setting it up you’re signed in with the same account you used for the desktop web app.

Choose the computer you want to access, enter your Pin, and your desktop will appear right away.At this point you can interact with anything on the screen, swiping to change the view and using the usual pinch gesture to zoom in and out.

Navigation can be a little awkward but it helps when you use the full screen option at the top right of your device. You can also use the menu button to access control, alt, delete or to disconnect.

Back on your computer an alert box shows at the bottom of the screen to let you or the other person know that the screen is being neared plus an option to stop the session.

So now when you’re ever away from home there’s an easy way to get access.

A Kenyan clergy, Bishop Thomas Wahome is known for his bizarre ways but this may just be the cherry at the top of the pie.

According to reports, Wahome, the Senior Pastor of Helicopter of Christ Church is now charging his followers the equivalent of $20 to check if their names are written in the Book of Life.

Bishop Thomas Wahome of Helicopter ministries is the king of controversy.

First, the name of his church is just out of this world. He is also known to craft very bizarre ways of conning his flock

In 2012, pastor Wahome was charging Sh 1,200 to anyone who wanted to touch his garment- like that woman who touched Jesus’ clothes in Mark 5:21-34.

Wahome also claimed that people who touched his clothes got instant healing from whatever disease And now, he has devised a new con game. Its called “Check whether your name is the bookof life”.

Wahome claims that if you give him Sh 1,500, he can actually ask God whether you are among those people who will go to heaven.

He claims that he has a direct line to God and he can communicate with him directly.

Don't know but thinking there maybe Bankbranches agents that would be stationed inside the banks according to the news.

Alternatively, central bank can make banks to buy this software from the company and integrate it fully into their banking platform.

BusinessYou Can Now Pay Cash Into Your Account At Any Bank by born2lead01(op): 9:00pm On Jan 07, 2014
A big relief to Nigerian bank
customers: you no longer need to
reach your bank to deposit cash. You can now pay into any bank and the money will be credited into your account, just like you withdraw cash from any bank’s ATM.

The new deal has been made possible by BeyondBranches, owner of the payment platform QuickTeller, a value added service platform developed by Interswitch, the largest integrated
payment processing service provider in Nigeria.

Now, BeyondBranches has developed the payment ecosystem further by enabling any customer to deposit cash
into any bank account held at any
bank in Nigeria at an agent.

Using this approach, BeyondBranches has been able to bring the bank within easy reach of those who need to deposit
cash quickly and securely.

Simon Aderinlola, chief operating
officer of BeyondBranches in Nigeria, said: “We are excited to make life easier for bank’s customers. The cost of transportation, the time wasted due to the traffic in Nigeria’s towns and cities and the queues within bank branches have made life difficult for the people of the country. Instead, customers of any bank can now go to a Quickteller agent and deposit funds into any bank account in Nigeria.”

Mrs Titilola Shogaolu, Chief Payment and Value Added Services Officer of Interswitch Nigeria said: “ “Interswitch explores different opportunities to provide solutions that support the Cashless society drive of the CBN while also delivering a financially included Nigerian population. As such, BeyondBranches have integrated their platform and growing agent network into our platform to build a secure and highly scalable agency banking infrastructure in Nigeria, enabling Banks and other key players in the industry bring financial services closer to their customers in a secure manner. We are excited about the potential services that can be enabled with this infrastructure.”

Gregory Ubigen, chief executive officer of BeyondBranches International said: “The cash-deposit at an agent is an exciting new service that helps drive
transactions to agents. By continually adding new services quickly, we can help drive branchless banking and digital inclusion in Nigeria. We hope to
continue to support the Central Bank of Nigeria’s policies on financial inclusion.”

BeyondBranches International Limited was founded in London, UK in March 2013 with a mission to build robust, secure, active and engaged agent networks globally.

BeyondBranches Nigeria was setup in May 2013 to support the cashless, agency banking and mobile payment initiatives running in that country.

BeyondBranches is underpinned by a flexible, secure platform and scalable processes to enable Banks and other organizations to effectively leverage the network to bring services to their customers efficiently.

No doubt Nigeria as a country has had it rough this year with public trust in government and public institutions rapidly declining. In spite of the challenges this year,we still have some successes to be proud off.

I told a friend i was coming from the post office few months back and he was amazed and told me he thought Nigeria postal service had gone the way of NITEL especially in this era of email services and private courier companies. I took my time to educate him on the services offer by NIPOST ranging from e-commerce to improved courier services.

Fellow Nairalanders, i sent a package (0.7kg cost #750) to China using what we call the NORMAL SHIPPING and it got there the 16th day; 0.6kg documents (cost #850) to Ontario and got there in TWO WEEKS! The beauty of it is that i was able to TRACK my items on Nipost and 17track website to know it location at any given time.

They have been very wonderful to those in the importation business; NIPOST staff will call you to pick your items in their possession even if you don't have a box with them. NIPOST offers haulage services for your household properties when you are relocating from one state to another at cheaper rate.

I want us to share our experience with NIPOST services this year and rate them on a scale of 5 where
1 represents very poor services
2 poor services
3 average services
4 Good services
5 Excellent services

Base on my own experience,i give them FOUR STARS!

Oya let's go.

@OP,i have seen pastors and their wives weep,i have seen wives cursed their husbands when the stress of caring for SS kids became unbearable. Love can take you to the alter and get you that golden or diamond ring but is not enough to sustain you thru when the trial comes.

The National Sickle cell centre in Lagos runs a test on foetus and it's above 200k to determine the genotype of the child invitro. Also,Nigerian teaching hospitals are now doing bone marrow transplants which cost like #5million in University of Benin Teaching Hospital.

You really need to weigh your options from having to cough out 200k while you're pregnant just to determine the genotype with the associated pain of needle insertion into your opening to having to part with #5million in the name of bone marrow transplant which may fail.

If you can endure the pain and do the "needful" and you think your love for both can see you thru despite having to cough out a fortune-(maybe/maybe not) then go ahead and walk with him to the alter but if not; please use Usian Bolt style. But i must warn you not to be blinded by love and hide under religion and bring avoidable suffering to your unborn children.
My two cent.
