Wike knows his best bet is Tinubu. Why? Because his immunity will soon end and he must back the winner or he is in trouble. The question is who is most likely to win? Atiku and Obi cannot win unless they merge. Obi cannot step down for Atiku or he loses face and Atiku did not come this far to step down for Obi. Because of the unstrategic ill thought out move by Obi to leave PDP and pick the ticket of Labour, they are now constitutionally barred from a joint ticket so it is one or the other!!

He could work for either and still lose and still be in trouble!!!! In Tinubu’s case Wike failing to endorse Tinubu is not a big deal but with Wikes endorsement, The race is over before it starts. The youth have a great deal of responsibility in the coming election and must not waste the opportunity to make an impact towards the making of the Nigeria of their dreams.

Our youth needs guidance. They play a major role in the electioneering process than they would admit. Rather than play politics with politicians they can band together and take their destiny into their own hands by taking this seriously. Politics unlike reality TV shows have real life consequences.

The 2023 elections is far more critical than any other and the focus must be on the issues/substance and not the spectacle.

If irrelevances are demanded over critical issues, the media has bills to pay and this is all they will supply. Focus must be on Competence, Capability, Conscientiousness, character, credibility and clarity. The country is in dire straits and we need to fix the leadership problem.

Custodians of societal behavior need to be more responsible. Voting is for adults and this speaks to maturity. It is not for the ignorant seeking to be told who to vote for. We should know the issues and connect them to the candidate that mirrors our aspiration as a people.

There is a reason behind manifesto. The people should study it before the noise begins and ask critical questions.

This is why I have been counselling against this disgusting politics of hate and bigotry against Asiwaju Tinubu.

Any attempt to bring these online obnoxious bigotry and hate against Asiwaju in particular, to real life just to vote against him in SW to embarrass Lagos and the Yoruba will be vehemently resisted.

That is why for anyone whose agenda is politics of hate and bigotry , it is still not too late to repent and do their thing with moderation without causing bad blood between the indigenes and their fellow compatriots.

Those non indigenes on ground in SW and especially those born and raised here should know better because offline they do not have a moniker to hide their identity or use a different identity when you need to get anything from Alausa or any of the LGAs or public and traditional institutions.

Yoruba will not allow non indigenes vote against their own political interest in this kind of gangup, hate and bigotry against Asiwaju. They will rather decide it on their own and vote against a political interest like the election of Sir Otedola against the preferred SDP's Mr Yomi Edu when Dr Sarumi and Prof. Agbalajobi could not agree in SDP.
