Onyocha:
You're not making the intended sense to implicate the Shiites and particularly the IMN.

In fact your posts vindicates them as being targeted for their religious beliefs.

There are Salafist/Wahhabi groups and clerics in the north who share the same ideology as Boko haram, yet no one sees them as threat or as "baby Boko haram" to nip them in the bud. Izala is a Salafist/Wahhabi group. Ahmed Gumi is a Salafist/Wahhabi hate preacher. Their ideology is that Shiites are apostates and heretics. Find out what they believe should be done to apostates and you will not be shocked as to what is happening to Shiites. They believe Christians are indidels and impure.

With the plethora of Wahhabi scholars and groups, all of a sudden you're scared of Shiites who in fact are a neutralizer to the Wahhabi menace and extremism because Shiites don't attack or fight people for holding different beliefs to theirs.

Two days ago, a Sunni Wahhabi lecturer and cleric in sokoto university was boasting that the government crackdown on Shiites is due to the pressure of Sunni Wahhabi clerics on the government. You remember all the visits Sunni Wahhabi clerics from Saudi have been paying to Nigeria? Perhaps that's what the bragger is referring to. If Muslims believe the Shiite version or interpretation of Islam is what they want to follow and that is where the truth is, I don't understand the use or need for using force on people to change their mind.
Bro i appreciate ur piece but i will appreciate it if reply tomorrow. Am actually strong health wise!

U blow off ur own as here! Then explain the meaning of the word 'oba'. Don't tell me king o!

since you have decided to remain silent then, now or ever. i hereby use this medium to educate you as our far distant 'Alamori':
the syllables here are two; i.e. o/ba. that 'o' actually stands for 'He' and not 'you' as some pple would speculate. while the strong other syllable, which is a transitive verb, 'ba' means 'topples' and not perch like some people would assume (Yoruba anything is rich baba, i tells grin you).
Am happy for you that u are claiming the origin of one of the greatest culture and people in the world, who u epp huh. connecting these two syllables together, you know the word 'oba' itself means without giraffing again in an examination hall. This is to inform you how prestigious this word means to us! 'o ba', 'he topples'. let me now be explicit: oba ba lori oun gbogbo. King topples on everything in existence cheesy. ori Ooni gan a ma wu laafin ;o (why u dey ask me the meaning of this when you were not ready to learn at initial?). continues, oba alade wura, oba alase, igbakeji orisa. brah, he decides your fate back then cheesy. furthermore, you can be sure of what am reflecting here: a friend can tell his friend; 'ma ga ba lemi lori'. this is a refuting statement that means 'dont ever try to topple or dominate me!' its a warning for anybody that you can lay your hands, even your dad, they will later settle una with 'etu' like: kosi ba se ferin, kori ma mi' (i will not tell u the meaning of this one, b4 you go say' nothing wey dem won talk for youruba wey u no go understand cheesy. but that statement to a king back then shocked, common dont even go there cos it wont werk! they call the judgement 6 feet (ese mefa) grin
Those words and statements, as a grounded yoruba person suppose understand. If you dont understand those basics, why then do you claim the king of that set of people. Go and claim Nupe jere!

There is no time the Shi'a group imposed their religion on anyone.
You wont blame those guys you know? The reason they are doing this is simply becos they don’t want Shiite to grow into another BH. BH also started as a small unit of Islam that was soliciting for the strong(er) establishment of Islam in Nigeria starting their mission from the North. But some long-sighted Nigerians saw this as a wrong cause, some muslims (majorly Northerners) then, saw it as a cause worthwhile. When they officially stated their demand, Islamization of Nigeria starting from the Northern states, some pple were like well, if Sharia can help us stop corruption in the country, so be it! When they started bombing organizations, some die-hard muslim Northerners went along with them (BH) and gained sympathy from some Human Rights Activists throughout Nigeria and partly in the world, painting the resolute of the govt as extra judicial killings. Nigerian Government needed to cool down not until when this sect with foreign spirit & back up grew up to terrorist group and finally became the most deadly terrorist group in the world (a product of Nigeria?).
People started talking and started tracing the history of BH. They traced it to the shield they enjoyed from Northerners then b4 they started affecting the North negatively. But because they couldn’t spread to the other part of the country, we thank God for the recent development.
Now, there is a lot of sensitization about terrorism and Northerners have learnt from their past recent experience, they want to curb this one even b4 they start growing. This is due to the fact that the memory of the outcome of their negligence then is still fresh. You are a Tijanian, am an Ansar-ud-deen member(SW), would you be in love with your sect to start another chaos in Nigeria again? Definitely NO! This is the more reason every hand should be on deck. In Nigeria of these days, a patriotic Nigerian should be concerned about fight against corruption and not Religious Battle again. Afterall nobody said they shouldn’t worship God but should do that in peace as islam itself connotes.
Another note is that, since the arrest of their leader, no Northerner attacked them until recently they started their protest they tagged ‘Peaceful’. Which Protest always goes peacefully without attracting any violent sensitization either emotionally or sentimentally? Why didn’t Govt arrest you or me, are we not muslims? Why not the Chief Imam of Sokoto central mosque, the Kaduna, Kano or Katsina? There are also muslim leaders in the SW and govt did not arrest them, have you asked yourself why? Why Zakzaky?

What of the times they occupy the main (federal) roads and make a blockage in the excuse of observing a religious rite? They did it to a Governor, a Sultan and other few VIPs according to reports. They did the same to a whole Chief of Army Staff, Buratai even when they are fully aware of how sensitive security issues were, as at that time. They subjected the COAS to be begging them until when that Massacre was unleashed on them. Well I will never support anybody that stand against any religious sect and as well will never support any religious sect going beyond worshiping God in adequacy. Thanks

Hadith on Brotherhood: The believers are like one body in their love, mercy, and compassion for each other.

An-Nu’man ibn Basheer reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.”

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5665, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2586

My brothers in the North should stop this barbaric killings all the name of the useless Sunni/Shiite ideology. This same political ideology is tearing apart the whole Arab countries. We are just getting over Boko Haram problem and we are cooking up another form of terrorists war.

There is no way we can move forward without respecting each other. I don't care if Shiite believe in the Sahabah or the wives of the Prophet of Allah PBUH all I want is PEACE.

I am a Tijaniyyah but I stand with Shiite on this.
Can you shed more light on the emboldened pls? Cos i see no reason a sect should influence what others do at any point in time....

Quite unfortunate that yours was the first comment i read. you saddened up my mood. that is one thing i use to tell people, at this age of our coexistence as a country, we should not always allow our mindset or bias to overcloud our judgmental sense or reasoning while passing remark or taking stand on fundamental issues of this realm. Its quite regretful that you have 196 whole likes and even 4 shares (by who, for what?) In fact i get disappointed by some Nigerians' attitudes and comments esp on social media every day of my life. Initially, I didn't believe that some petty rogues are still using that ridiculous old format. The same template, so I thot the guy just copied, edited to his suit and posted on NL to roll on FP. Not until when I read ur post DAT it happened to you then ur wife recently, a game of late 80s, 90s thru early millennium. Somebody claiming it happened to him in 2016 (the same format and discharging) got me surprised. Anyway, it happened to my ex in 2004 thereabout and they collected her money cos we were not dating again as at then (it wouldn't have happened, trust me). They hiarge her very well cos she was greedy, the reason I left her. I rescued my mum also at a period when she called to confirm may be I had any idea with such things while in their car and I advised her on what to do b4 they finally discharged her just the way the op explained. So I never knew some dunce still play that game or fall for it. We call it Uncut to Wash Wash, ask molete boiz.

No one is stopping Buhari from fighting corruption, but fighting like a dictator and tyrannical autocrat is what we are not I support of. Everything should be done within the ambits and provisions of the law.

Buahri should understand what a democratic system of government is. I see the arrest of the alleged corrupt judges as a show of Shane and defamation of character
Why did you allow sentiments to occupy your whole existence. This report mentioned that the DG of DSS has a constitutional Right and responsibility to arrest a suspect/criminal at anytime of the day regardless of the venue or the circumstance. Av witnessed where a banker was arrested on his wedding day for fraud in his inlaw's house, so? Which special treatment or honour should be given to a criminal. What I was expecting from you is to research may be the DSS has the right to do so or not, then you join the crusade of kicking corruption out of Nigeria. God will open your eyes sha to see DAT the money they are sharing was supposed to be shared with you. I am allergic to 'democratic system', it gives me brain scratching when its the one played by our politicians Jere, no forming sire.
