The child will always go looking for it's real parents, and that's painful to the adoptive parents. Your child will always be yours. Once you give an adopted child the choice of knowing their biological parents, they will always want to know them and gain their love.

Also, some of these children come from terrible backgrounds(war, abuse, etc) which have affected them psychologically and in some cases they end up murdering the adoptive parents.
