TMKsouth: Yeah, Millie meal is enjoyed by black people, coloureds and Afrikaners. I don't think English people, Indians and West Africans eat it. So what race are you? Your moniker implies east European. It's just a moniker. I can't remember anyone in my circles eating it. I did enjoy droewors n bil da da da biltong . Lekker! Ek mag that stuff. No krag in die skoop for me, though. Sadly, or not so sadly. |

Xilsbridalhouse: Lol very scary! Back in school days, I had to make up with my room mate Whom I got pissed at earlier just so she could help me kill the cockroach flying above my bed in the middle of the night. I feel all the roaches in the world are in Nigeria too. Last line cracks me up. Sooooo true. Never knew they existed on this scale. Like, where do they come from? Do they just fly around all over the place? That kinda make up, hope you remained good friends in case another one turned up? |

TMKsouth: Pap and vleis is just maize-meal and meat. It's common across all race groups. Which dish specifically are you referring to? Or is it this? Millie meal never was something I ate. It's a local dish, and to me it was like mopane worms, something to be heard of but never seen. The lumpy one the afrikaaners eat. |

Xilsbridalhouse: Same reason I don’t like roaches...they fly!!!! Lol. I don't think there's anyone who isn't scared of a flying cockroach. And they are smart, not really scared of humans. The first day I saw one I was so shocked I didn't even know what it was, just big and different from any other insect I knew. It's when it moved that I knew they're terrible. Because it could fly so much and it didn't run from me. It came to me. |

gaventa: The elites have failed us , the church that is all perfect shouldn’t plunge people into deception anymore. They are the pioneers of the deceit and false indoctrination that made Africans believe in an almighty coming to save them when they have the hands to fight back. If the church is the problem that made them unable to fight back, why is it that they didn't use all their traditional powers and animism to fight back when they first met before they were given Christianity? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Meet Gbenga Alalade, Architect Behind Living Faith Ark (Photos) by BRATISLAVA: 5:00pm On Apr 16, 2021 |
gaventa: The government has done their part by not fulfilling their promises the church is making it worse by not letting people know they can Think and work and make solutions. We are not saying atheism helped Asia but they don’t have a religion where their leaders will Attribute their problems to spiritual attacks and enemies . They don’t have a religion that promises heavenly rewards while living in bondage on earth. Religion in Africa is just an opium of the masses. We can’t worsen it. What’s the essence of the new church? Propagating then gospel of an Isreali? What’s the percentage of Christians in Isreal itself? Wake up and don’t be gullible . The heaven you all are pursuing is not real just a fallacy and your pastors know bu since you all don’t read outside your bible they will extort you with fake prophesies and give back crumbs to you. They are part of the problem go and good about the pyramid of captitalism. You will understand how the elites are using religious leaders to control the masses. WAKEUP Your elites are in the government, not in the churches. Address the right people. |

OkCornel: I don’t mean to invalidate your argument. But this corrupt government and the ones before it is made up of church goers and Muslims too.
Church goers (calling them Christians would be an insult to true and pure Christianity) and Muslims will still attend these big buildings (on Sundays & Fridays respectively) scattered across the nation and still end up practicing their corrupt lifestyle in the public and private sectors.
Hypocrisy, ignorance and selfishness (including tribalism and religious bigotry) are the reasons Nigeria is in its current state. He cannot put national development squarely on the church, unless he really isn't thinking, because that is not the Church's responsibility. It's like him asking the government why they haven't healed the sick and spread the Word. He should even be commending churches for opening universities and hospitals, and building roads that his government never would. People are their own problem, irregardless of religion. You don't need religion to know that if you steal taxes it will reduce development — yet people do it then blame churches. That people are members of a religion and do these things doesn't mean that their religion supports them. It just means that Nigerian society values corruption and theft more than development. That is no fault of temples or mosques. Same guy probably cheated in exams and pays bribes, but, behold, the church is the scapegoat. |

gaventa: Religion is not making ya think that’s why we have to stop such expansion. It’s making our people pray instead of thinking and working. Asian countries are not religious so they don’t need any super powers to solve their problems. Soon they will tell you to fast and pray for Nigeria to be better and you all will follow suit sadly. It’s causing more harm than good You are barely thinking if you believe any of your baseless assertions/assumptions. Please, go and investigate the religion of Asian people and stop attributing their progress to atheism. When you bring back their religion results, inform us all, because religion is everywhere. Yours is a stale argument. Once more, channel your infrastructural grievances to the government you elected and stop looking for how churches are to blame for your taxes being stolen by those leaders. Who told you it is the church that owes you national development? What is the function of government? Who made you promises? Who is responsible for fulfilling them? |

gaventa: Keep building religious centers while developing countries are building Innovation centers, keep pursuing heaven while your life’s on earth is a living hell . You all think you can worship or live the supreme creator ? You want to work for God as if God told you she needs anyone to show her mightiness. Una never know anything. Hold your government responsible, not churches. Is the church the presidency who owes you all those things, yet denied you them? |

majorbravo: Trust me, you haven’t really met anyone with serious body odour cos you won’t be able to withstand it.
One half-albino girl came to my room back when I was an undergrad and just lay on my bed to rest while she was waiting for her friend who was my neighbour. I dunno if it’s cos she’s been out in the sun all day from lectures or summat. But the smell was so unbearable. Even after she left. The smell lingered on in the sheets and never left till I washed it twice. I took the foam out to the sun. Cos the smell sank into the foam as well.
I didn’t know how to tell her, cos it wasn’t really my business and I didn’t want to hurt her feelings. But it was painful to note, I almost shed tears on her behalf, cos she was so damn pretty. Nobody will believe you, until they've seen such. I was visiting, just put my bag in the wardrobe, next morning I was smelling like her BO. Like BO. It never stopped smelling bad, even after washing the clothes many times. I threw them away because I didn't want to smell like her. I don't even understand it, maybe I never noticed her smell because we didn't see often. And she was supposed to be a classy lady. So I believe you when you say it got into the mattress. Some BO is like super glue. I feel bad that I didn't tell her. But her boyfriend should've. |

Ishilove: Years back there was a guy who was chyking me and his breath funked like terribly. When I couldn't bear it anymore, especially when he attempted to steal kisses from me, I chose a day when he was relaxed and doing laundry. I stood a safe distance away from his nasty breath, gave him my most charming smile and tactfully told him "I have been noticing for sometime that you may need to change your toothpaste. It is not giving your mouth a fresh breath".
I sha blamed everything on the toothpaste, but he got the message. He thanked me profusely and although later the breath did not exactly improve, it didn't funk as badly as before. This was quite polite. Compared to the rude and mocking manner people before you mentioned. Never knew Nigerians could have tact and politeness. Going to adopt this method. |

Typical for parents of cultist not to warn or correct their children when they hurt others, but are ready to cry foul when their never do well children reap karma. Exactly why no gruesome pictures should be on display, because of the wider effect it has on peoples families, and because it is not something to broadcast on that manner. |

Nah Aids be that ooo
How will they get HIV across the counter? People don't walk around with open sores, it is more likely spread through sex and hair clippers/needles than two people sharing blood intimately in the bank. You must've interacted with HIV+ people, and you still haven't gotten it. So it cannot happen like that. It's more of a HR problem than contagion. |
