If you check the time I went to UK embassy to when I got USA visa was about 10yrs interval

The time I finished secondary school 1999 till 2010 I got admission to a prestigious federal university was 11 yrs

I'm surprised at the number of years. I often hear stories about these sort of delays, how the person will miraculously be catapulted beyond their expectations, etc.

All this "timing" talk, are we not ascribing no power in prayer whenever we say it has to do with timing? Why did you pray for 10 years and nothing happened? Why is the road easy for majority and so difficult your a select few? Is there a purpose to the suffering?

What lessons did you learn? Do you feel the delay was to teach you something? Do you feel like you were miraculously catapulted beyond your expectations?

The ability to hear directly from God is one of the greatest achievements any Christian can make on earth. There are 3 types of voices a Christian can hear:
* Voice of flesh(self)
* Voice of the devil
* Voice of God
The goal is to know the voice of God perfectly to recognize the voices of counterfeit, because the devil is a master impersonator. God's words glorify him always, makes you love him the more. God's words can never contradict the Bible. Whenever you hear a voice that contradicts the Word of God know it's from the devil. Very common examples of devil's voices are:
* Go and commit fornication with that church member for more anointing. My grace is sufficient for you.(It is against 1 Cor 6:18)
* Stop attending any church just worship me from your house (God can never tell you to stop attending church services, however he can direct you to another Bible believing Church that will groom you properly). It's against Heb 10:25, Ecc 4:9-11, 1 Thes 5:11.

Visions and trances
In Acts 10:8, God spoke to Peter through this way and he still does it today. The devil has his own counterfeit. He too can disguise as an angel of light (2 Cor 11:14). He mostly uses astral travel and out of the body experiences. (Whenever you see a vision or supernatural encounter watch out if the name of Jesus is mentioned, if you can speak out His name thrice and watch out for reactions).

Our Conscience
That little still voice telling us to good and judging us is the voice of God. His laws are in the hearts of every human being, however disobeying the voice results in a hardened heart that rarely hears God. Prov 20:27 says the Spirit of man is the lamp of God, searching his innermost heart ( conscience).

Divine Ideas
Attimes during prayers, an idea you weren't thinking of can jump into her heart. That is one the ways God speaks to you. He can also put pressure in your heart to perform a good cause.

Others are the directing us to the Scriptures, dreams, directing us to His true messengers(prophets), through sermons, Christian meditation(not yoga).

Share other ways through which you have heard the voice of God.

You make it sound so easy. Yet only a handful of people have heard God speak to them. Tell us 5 ways/5 times God has spoken to you if it is as common as you would have us believe.

Explain how you were asking for a job and instead became an employer. How did you know that this was the will of God for you? What happened in the 5 years that changed everything?

Thank you OP for sharing this piece. The effectiveness of a prayer has nothing to do with God but the person involved.

Jesus gave the model for prayer when he taught his disciples to pray "the Lord's Prayer". ACTS - Adoration(worship), Confession of sins, Thanksgiving and Supplication.

Prayer is very powerful when it goes beyond being a ritual. One's spirit must connect with the spirit of God.

We are today the Church described in the old testament hence location of prayer doesn't matter.

Most people stop at the level of request without taking a bold step of faith that God has answered their prayer.

if you need a Job, step out in faith after prayer and God with direct you. I beleive most people have prayed enough but lack the faith to believe that God has answered their prayer.

Prayer is made by spoken words and answers come by taking "action backed by faith".

So every answer to prayer is backed by action? And what if the prayer does not need action?

I have been applying for UK visa since 2003 prayerfully but I got 3 rejections from UK

I kept my faith and went to USA embassy in 2017 voila one time ( he is the almighty )


I left secondary school in 1999 been applying for states universities

Until God gave me a federal university in 2010
Gods do the wonders in his own time

Right now my success and glory is obvious for all to see

Not everyone gets an answer no matter how righteous they are.

Classes aren't compulsory yet the student expect a miracle to pass. When the lecturer sets difficult question, same student would be crying foul because class is not compulsory.

But if they can pass the class why is attendance so important?

Most of the pads used to soak up blood during surgeries are white, turn red, just like the rest of the field, and it's very very easy to miss, that's why many do inventories of everything used during surgery.

Why not use and remove? Why use and dump inside people? If other professions were as careless too many people would die needlessly.

mostly due to stress. i think, but on d other hand surgery isn't done by one person. there is an assistant, a theatre nurse and other observers(especially in teaching hospitals) a good theatre should have a kinda of check list, d no of sutures, gauzes and other materials used which should also be accounted for at the end of the surgery.same way the estimated blood loss is accounted for and corrected if need be and other care instituted in d post anesthesia care unit.

Why don't they do this already? They have a reason why they don't after all the years of leaving things inside people.
They should've thought of this by now.

If other professions did this people would die en masse. And they always tell us about 7 years in medical school. Don't they teach accountability there?

My thought too. A friend's sister undergone surgery for appendicitis, and after about a year, she was always crying and hold the area where the stitches was.

She was taken back to the hospital only to find out a small scissors-like object was forgotten inside her.

This is so terrible and appears to be negligence. How is it that they have a place to keep all the tools they use, yet they drop things inside people? When they are stitching, don't they see the things? It seems deliberate because they've trained and yet make such mistakes. If engineers made such mistakes, everyone would be dead.
