Health › 5 Weird Illnesses You May Not Know Exist by Brightgem(op): 10:26pm On Aug 09, 2016 |
There are quite a lot of body disorders which manifest as really wired illnesses in people. Can you imagine living with one leg larger than the other? Can you imagine a fa teenager looking like a really old woman? or being born a black from African descent and suddenly finding your skin is going white in different areas, or finding it impossible to recognize and differentiate human faces? I present to you 5 weird illnesses you may not know exist. PROGERIA SYNDROME: This is a genetic condition that makes a child age really fast often times making it hard for them to live past the age of 13. Their symptoms are vividly visible. Progeria is not hereditary meaning it is not passed down in families. “A single mistake in a certain gene causes it to make an abnormal protein. When cells use this protein, called progerin, they break down more easily. Progerin builds up in many cells of kids with progeria, causing them to grow old quickly.” In the Nigerian yoruba film industry, there is a set of twins (ibeji Oran) who I had known from childhood, they have obvious unusual physical features which makes them almost scary, hence their use by producers in scary parts of movies. On finding out in recent years what Progeria is, I could only remember them and then understood why they looked that way. They have both passed away. To read more along with pictures of some of these weird conditions visit http://yourhealthattitude.com/5-weird-illnesses-you-may-not-know-exist/

Stella Obasanjo, Patient Jonathan, Ngozi Onkonjo, Turai Yar'adua even Kemi Adeosun never dress so casual and revealing like that. upper part of which breast? That one na lie. |
Crime › Re: Body Of Executed Seck Osmane Buried In Indonesia by Brightgem(f): 6:08am On Aug 01, 2016 |
Godjone: they should stop these killings abeg
why terminate a soul you cannot create? And who among them is without sin?
In the religious book the bible, we were admonished not to kill, i guess these people are stained with bloods in their hands for killing a being created by God.
Whether they are drug convict or not, does killing them end drug trafficking Has drug trafficking ended since this practice of execution begins
An altarnate punishment for drug convict should be adopted rather than killing them. Taking thier lives to me will not end drug trafficking. stop being emotional, If the world lives without rules and regulations u and I cannot live in it, a country makes it clear u will b killed if u do this, u still do it, so who I to be blamed. The same bible ur quoting said the wages of sin is what? Ok why does God too warn us continously in all Holy Books to keep off sin or face the consequence eventually. will some people still listen. Abeg laws are made for reasons, these drug actions lead directly or indirectly to other people's death, homes destroyd. I am not condeming d offenders, their final judgement lies with God, but they are a direct result of their own actions. |

Are you jealous of their beauty and confidence or what?? Pls stop thinking with your anal orifice and appreciate something good when you see one, That's why the African man will never move forward. kikikikikkki! how dare I say u ask? okay I repeat, they look like animals. U must look and act that way too, anybody reading ur comment knows its u who has ur brain right in ur anal canal, thats why u think like poor. u want us to return to primitive times, pls return alone. Jeloma: Op you shouldn't have posted these pics on nairaland. Nairaland is full of primitive bushmeats that'd not understand the beauty and confidence emanating from the photos They are so fvcking dumb and local, most of them would stupıdly conclude that these girls are hoes or loose with low morals. Their brains and minds are still stuck in the pre historic times. This is probably because the average african man hasn't evolved beyond the stage of homo neanderthalensis. Sad but true.
Nice concept by the way. Beautiful, confident ladies. You know what I "sad but true" ur state of mind. so this is not pre-historic, when people did not understand the value of clothes. I see animals in this picture, is all I see. Pls if evolving has to do with what u describe, we wud rada not evolve. #gosh whats happening to common sense? |

stagger: Why in the world can't Nigerians stand up for their rights? I was once on a car hire and the police stopped us somewhere and said the driver did not have an ID of the car company whose receipt I had. Took us to the station where after I made serious noise, I told them plainly that I was going to create MAJOR problems for them when I got back to Abuja. They conferred among themselves and released us to go without collecting farthing.
And believe me, that day I was ready for wahala. That day police knew the meaning of Fela's song: trouble dey sleep, na so inyanga go wake am. Wetin e dey find? Wahala, e dey find, wahala, e go get. Hmmm, wish I cud give u two different scenerios u will know that u just got away, not becuz of rights or anything. These bastards are dangerous... anyway not everyone is that lucky. |
