yes dear, when you evolve a plan and execute it to solve a problem or meet a need, you are a development person. By development person, I mean a person who intervenes or bring intervention to the right people or community that actually need n are ready to own such interventions.

Presently globally , the human needs are captured in the elaborate new Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) formerly referred to as the MDGs . These goals cover a lot of needs and gaps which the human race and mother earth presently confront - from poverty, universal education , malaria, food security, governance, health to environmental sustainability .

At the core of these program is the human entity which is facing a lot of challenges . Poverty is the main factor confronting us today in the world and has been indicted as been the main cause of most of the sub human realities commonly found in the developing nations most especially.
In Nigeria, it is no longer news that self induced poverty in the mist of abundant resources is the bane of the country. So how does this and having an NGO affect Brightgem? .........hmmm uniformly strategically remove ourselves from unending hardship involves a joint effort within a registered govtal or non- governmental organisation or any other legal gathering for a meaningful impact to be unleashed.

Very on point. I registered the morning it opened, never got Acknowledgement mail even a month later, I tried registering for a friend after the sites' make over abi facebeat lol hers was smooth. It occurred to me to re - register and I did and got the acknowledgement mail almost immediately too, so I been asking same question OP asking and wondering what wil happen to many who feel they have registered? This is just terrible, when poor management will make people loose opportunites that they have hopes on. I just want2 to learn whatever they have to offer in the N-creative, still wonder what 23k is supposed to do in pipo's lives and they will probly be sent to communities. God, when will we the youths rise up and understand we are the strength of this nation...

Due to many recent posts I have seen here on Nairaland, I began to think that PayPal is indeed allowing one receive payments, however I decided to contact them directly to get the answer form the Horses' mouth. Below is a screen shot of their reply, which is still a NO we cannot receive. I am wondering why we keep putting up with a bad situation without thinking what we can do, I find PayPal to be very available for transactions on so many sites, either for buying or selling? So I wonder how many of us PayPal users would it take, say if we unanimously raised our voices, to get this people to add this feature for us in Nigeria. This is very important, how can we make it happen?

I applied same day it opened got to successfully registered page, but never recieved acknowledgement, I reaplied this morning and it went tru, acknowledgement came saying I wud do some test. I twitted them asking what happened to my first application? Becuz its very annoying, mayb u try same.
