Yes you can buy its recipe for quick failure (lithium)
It's not recommended. It's better to go for a 24v battery at once.
In the long run, imbalance would set in.

I never understand this lithium chsrging failure wen in series. Abeg make una let me understand. Cos i have one in series but connected to a busbar and i dont see anything wrong. Me i nor de monitor anytin. Install n move to d next available job

I got in with my journeyman and we started preparing the mounting rack ( we used interlock aluminium profile for this job, from experience I think they have better stability when trying to nail them into the roof)

We did some calculations to manage material my oga you dey owe me . So we ended up using 3pcs of aluminium profile to mount 8pcs of the 550w solar panel.

Preparing the railing was not the problem self, pulling the panels up the roof was too stress full (all my body done break forget I said I was made for this 😭😭).

There where some many challenges with the ridge board has broken and some of the wood.

So we had to swap position (who dem dey lead sometimes no know Wetin leader they see) with me myself taking the most risky position on the roof.
We dont have pictures of the process just minor clips here and there.

But am grateful, am able to come back to this thread to document it

We are having some down time procuring the batteries

I have read it here several times that the original jinko panels sometimes generate more than the stated capacity.

maybe u shud ask how the panels are connected, wat kind of controller he is using,panel orientation, cable length and size

I must confess men carry 550w of this solar panel is very heavy.
I will try to do justice to ascertain how much it weighs tomorrow, because we have to safely move this gadgets upto 2 storey building using a ladder 🪜🪜.

I have a serious dilemma.i want to do an upgrade,Im confused between buying a growatt 5kva hybrid inverter or a 120amp growatt charge controller. My cause of confusion is this. This growatt inverter can work without batteries, and secondly even while working with battery, can power the household load directly from the the solar panels during sunlight, while the reamaining power charges the battery. My question is can the external charge controller offset house load while charging batteries at thesame time? Pls i will appreciate a response..

there is always a twist with this so called inverters that can power your household loads directly with solar panels...

if you dont have enough pvs to cater for your loads during different weather conditions, it will still draw from your batteries.. by so doing your batteries will suffer the damages in the long run cos de are not receiving enough charge...

in summary have enough pvs....

I don't blame some clients we come across saying;

- Install panels outside their roofs as carport/ swimming pool ports to avoid roof leakages , fire etc

- Install batteries , inverters outside the main building for similar fire reasons .

I've also come across several indoor installations running over the years without issues. Battery temperature sensor connected to ESS charge sources also need to be considered in most power system designs .
Guess lithium chemistry needs to be seriously studied especially now we've refurbished cells, substandard BMS et al hovering around the market esp in Nigeria . God help us

I don't think you can change the charging current, what he needs to do it tune the generator up a bit for it to be able to charge.

pushing d generator further go make d avr quick go village.

You can still try to charge the battery 4rm d gen by switching off ur inv. Let ur load go directly to the gen instead of tru d inv y its charging.
