i want to begin a career in programming. but i choose for now  to design standalone apps(desktop with or without database) for system, final year school projects,  create server/client based (simple and advanced, cross platforms, web servers app) .Not bad if am dreaming big, i have the patience and the zeal.

what language do i choose from

i just dived into visual basic 6.0 since but piple are saying its obsolete.

so many languages are on the move. i just want to be acquainted with the best programming language that will stand out in all ramifications, something that will never fade away.

has anyone ever done pxe booting and succeeded. i went thru some tutorials down on google. they didnt help especially with the config file booting the image. wen i try to run d image manually i get this kind of matrix screen but not green this time lol. i guess its my adapter. dats the highest i went so far, others with some error messages i cant understand. i am using another windows xp client as my server wit some software i configured to make it act as a server

d laptop in question does not boot from usb devices, even the only port usb port is bad, it has no inbuilt cdrom. so d only option is just with the internal network card.

as 4 the networking i already did that and its ok getin dhcp addresses from the dhcp server, pls someone help me i am getting bored each day at home.

or do we need to downgrade or upgrade the firmware

has any one ever unlocked VISAFONE, MULTILINK, STARCOMM AND ETISALAT MODEMS

i did that also but it doesnt connect. but when i use the sim on the glo modem it connects. i dont know if this problem is just 4 E156G modems only. wats ur model and do u use glo sim on it.

well i had that problem of all my folders disappearing when i gave someone my flash drive and had some crucial files in there. i could recall i did some tricks with nod 32 the very old version but i cant remember.

solution 1
open d drive and then right click inside the same drive and select properties , if u see that the hidden attribute is locked move on to solution 2. but if not then uncheck the folder and select for current folder and subfolder and click ok.

solutin 2
download winrar and install it. go the drive ur files are located, right click then select new and then select a new winrar archive/zip archive. it was place an archive of 1kb on the drive. open it and use to navigate, u will see all ur files on the drive.

just copy the address from the address bar of the winrar soft and paste it into ur windows address bar. u can copy all ur files using this method.

please after unlocking my mtn e156g modem i did all d configuration on the profile for glo zain and etisalat but i was surprised that it was only glo dat did not browse. i den switched sim to a glo modem and immediately activated with no hassle and struggle.

has any body ever experienced this before. does it affect the latest modem

i am stuck at home because i subscribed to a glo package.

pls i jst unlocked my mtn modem and decided to use it with a glo sim. i inserted d glo sim into d modem and i saw the network on  it. i sent acivate to 127 and i got a reply message askin me to do all the blash finally i subscribed.

but i have been tryin 2 connect it. it keeps telling me all sorts of errors. but wen i inserted the sim into a glo modem and clicked on CONNECT, it  jst went tru with any hassle.

i ve d glo configuration in my mtn software jst like d zain and etisalat config. i ve tried others and de worked. i also have d glo user software on d system but it didnt  work even though it detected my modem and d  glo network.

what do i do. does it mean that glo sim is locked only to their modem or am i not gettin sometin right here

i have knowledge of web designs -htm4, 5 css, and xhtml, swishmax (flash)
i can handcode and use other wysiwg softwares but i always depend on template i get from the internet and just modify them to create my own.

i dont know if its good or not. cos it bothers me so much. Sometimes i layout my own but i dont always fancy it to be great

the whole thing seems annoying. opera has a default bittorent client built in it. i tried using it but it didnt work out.

I have been using my torrent client with other network providers including mtn and other services. i just decided to move to the multilinks newest technology. i am on the high side of unlimited bandwith level cos i deal with heavy data and mostly its for office use only.

what i cant figure is that my utorrent application does not work with my connection .

pls does anyone have a similar problem with me or has found a solution to his.

pls i really need ur help.i gave my younger sister my ipod player and later she decided to change the lock code on the ipod. now she has forgotten the numbers.

what can i do 2 erase this code. is there really a particualar software that can degrade the firmware or either upgrade it so that the code goes off.

on welcome page the windows activation screen appears and if i click on the cancel button it just simply logs me off.

i formated my laptop toshiba satelite early this year.it came with windows vista PRE-INSTALLED and i decided to upload xp into it. i have a pirated copy of windows vista dat doesnt uses a key.i later upgraded the system to vista using this same cd. everytin went fine.

And just this month. my system went down. i had to repeat this same process again, everytin went fine.a friend came to borrow it and i gave it out.
two days later i receieved a call from him telling me he doesnt understand the language on the screen. i went there as soon as possible but found out that i have been locked out. it says i ve to activate windows over the internet.(dat my key is expired). but since d last format early dis year, i didnt get such a message

i dont want to format dis system cos i have a lot of files scattered on d hard drive.

how do i get my screen back up again

Helo guys. i use my zain sim 2 browse on my desktop pc.I use a bluetot conect n d bt software witout a pc suite.I create up d dialup connectn and it conects very wel 4 d ist 3mins n be4 i know was hapenin my lan icon status stops blinkin n d browsin is terminated.But d fone is stil browsin.D sendin status is blinkin but d downlink is not blinkin. Ve tried my best but it keeps repeatin itself.Wat do i do.
