I don't know what slow cooker is but for the beans....

Boil your beans with akaun (potash) till it is very soft. Mash with your turning garri (wooden spatula) to your taste.

Be careful of excess water in the beans
Thanks.

For the sauce, you have to use enough oil...Asin plenty oil

Palm oil
Dry chilli pepper
Seasoning cube (Maggi)
Ground crayfish
Salt
Ginger (optional)

Soak your dry chilli in water for about 4hrs or over night. Blend till it is very smooth

Bleach your oil on heat.
Add in your diced onions and fry till it is brown (not burnt)
Add in your blended pepper. Fry continuously till it turns black or till you perceive that popular agoyin aroma
While frying, add in your crayfish, salt and Maggi.

That's it...you can ask questions where you're not clear
Thank you. I will save this now. Still awaiting the bean recipe.

Also, is it okay to use a slow cooker for this ewa agoyin?

Contributions from house pls...

Travel › Re: COVID-19: FG To Withhold Passports Of Travellers To Nigeria by britiko: 5:26pm On Jun 13, 2020
Just tire for Niaja.

first why are diplomats excluded from same treatment?

What has withholding the travellers passport got to solve here?

Nigeria has got no database, so how do they track the passports.. drop off & pickup? I see lots of missing passports cases and exploitation from immigration officers.

Secondly why do they have to travel 72hrs after,?exposing other citizens if they are asymptomatic. Why can't they rerun the 2nd test in their residence state instead of going to Lagos or Abuja.

This is a no no arrangement.

Why can't this government think through and implement guidelines with some senses?

My pancakes always comes out oily, what could be wrong?
This seems like you are frying in shallow oil.

All u need to do is to rub oil on ur pan or spray the oil and cook at low heat.

No frying.

Do u use premixed flour or u prepare from scratch?
Health › Re: I'm Ready To Sue One Of The Biggest Private Hospital In Lagos by britiko: 5:49pm On May 24, 2020
SolarEdge:
We noticed some rash in our 4 months old baby's sex organ which I perceived is a reaction from her diapers, we took her to the hospital for checkup and they recommended anti fungal cream to be applied and instructed that we don't wear her diapers for now while we apply the cream.

While waiting at the hospital pharmacy I noticed the attendant was taking longer time to attend to me, because the doctor had already written to them what they should give to me with my baby's file in front of the attendant. The attendant still asked how old is the baby I said 4 months. She was just giving excuses that she's coming that I should be patient, so I sat down.

After some time she brought the cream and some drugs. We left and got home very late last night, so my wife suggested my baby should start the drugs by morning but we should apply the cream given to us and we did not wear our baby diaper as instructed.

So this morning my wife decided to read through the leaflet in each of the drugs including the cream. To our greatest surprise the cream was strictly meant for adults and it was categorically stated it should not be used for children under age 18

Now, I'm wondering why would the hospital pharmacy attendant give us such cream. Is it that the prescribed cream wasn't available that was why she was going to and fro like the devil described in the book of Job in the Holy Bible.

Please what's your advise on this matter, is it a careless mistake or it was a deliberate act.
SUDOCREM has been saving parents from diaper rash for ages.

Very save to use for treatment of diaper rash. Its soothes, heals and protects the child from further outbreaks.

Apply around her genitals and on her butts during every diaper change and please change her diaper often.

The rash will disappear sooner than you anticipate. Best of luck

Reggie2:
I can confirm that this News is fake and quite malicious. Dr Olumide was a wonderful person and a personal friend who suffered from protracted health problem; he does not deserve irresponsible blog reports. Dr Olumide studied Agricultural Science at the university of Bologna, he was not a medical doctor. He had slight fever and was advised to stay home in line with a general directives from the authorities. His body was found in a position that suggested cardiac arrest. His daughter lives in far away Tuscany region from Emilia Romagna. I was even contacted by a person trying to reach her after discovering the lifeless body of her father. Virus infection was never confirmed but health officials only said that autopsy would be carried out to this effect.
As our Ghana friends would put it: all die na die, yet the truth must be said about the cause of every death.
R.I.P Dr Olumide Okunuga Suraju.
Bless you for this. People have become so irresponsible with news. Social media is fast becoming an epidemic itself that needs to be curtailed.

May Dr Olumide's soul rest in peace.

This news and blog is all fake. So far there's only one death recorded in BC, Canada and the person was in a long term home and in his 80's.

Please desist from spreading fake news on social media.
