my dear we are un d same boat oo, only when i raise my dress u get to see the small bump, and now the black line just cane out straight down to my pelvis,, doctor said i have deep womb, watever dat means, dat i will start showing from 7 months, before u know it uv put to bed.. me sef dey pray gor bump ooo.. most times my tummy will just go flat. den once i eat or drink water puff its big.

I wish mine will be like that. Don't wanna show till 5-6months because I still want to be able to fit into my old clothes, don't want to buy too many maternity wears.

My glorious birthstory
It all started on d 13th of Jan.woke up 5am to bloody show n mild contractions, FTM& tinx we carried our Ghana must go n off we went straight 2 labour ward.
My EDD is supposed to b today 17th January.
On arrival a vjay exam was done(very uncomfortable just like d HSG I did April last year) and was told "madam go n rest ure just 2cm dilated..however labour can commence ASAP or take few more days so come back immediately u feel d pains have skyrocketed.
So I and my gang dat escorted me carried our load back home. Note that I purposely went for final baby shopping on d 12th so I can do d trecking of my life.one granny had to chase me from d market saying if she leave me I will walk past her shade a 100 times n chances are dat I might deliver there as baby's engagement is so obvious.I really came home exhausted,cooked and stocked fridge same night,cleaned...I knew baby was so close.I finally munched on pineapples,n went 2 bed.
I cudnt believe my ears wen Dr said 2cm I was like 2cm and I'm in pains wat will happen at 5cm & above then I returned home and continued with sugar cane I chop faya commot from SUGARCANE & DABINO(among d list of natural foods that enciurages labour given to me by an experienced mama and since dey dont hurt to try I got involved ).I later slept off around 1pm.was woken up by contractions around 2pm stronger than d mornings own but I managed them cos I didn't want to return there and b sent back again saying contractions aren't strong enough 2 establish labour.
Fast forward to evening.since mama told me not to sleep wen contracting but to move around I got up and started walking round d building severally.DH returned from work n met me walking he joined me.he later suggested we play ball.he got one and d game began I started having fun and contractions vanished. I was so angry as I tot I was upgrading d contractions so I can return 2 hospital immediately .I finished my last pineapple and went 2 bed around 8pm.hubby was chatin with our neighbour outside wen I slept off.I was awakened by this mind blowing contraction around 9pm I scream he name taya no answer,i struggled ouuta bed called n told him i tink its d real tin so they took me back to d clinic same day in d evening around 9.45pm.what happened immediately we got to d labour ward Hmmmm mothers pray everyday oooo till u deliver that the wrong DR or NURSE must not be on duty during ur set time of delivery IJN.baby calls...will type other episodes soonest

So I woke up this morning, wiped after peeing to see brownish substance. I went straight to the hospital and my doctor requested a scan, instructed that I rest and avoid kpekus till after first trimester. Did anyone go through something similar?

Meanwhile, the scan put my EDD for August not September like I thought.

Did the Doctor tell u any thing as being responsible? Sorry for the stress tho. Just heed his instructions, we will soon cross 12weeks Mark....welcome to August tho...you can actually double check your Month yourself if you remember the exact date of the first day of your last menstrual period. Many online calculators can help you do that. ..Subsequent scans will still give u EDDs sha so don't bother.

Please don't know what is wrong, whenever I take pregcare omega plus my body will be uncomfortable and restless what is wrong?

I take mine at night after dinner .That way less disturbance during the day. The day I took it during the morning, I was nauseating all day. So night time does it better for me.

I saw bloody show by 12am just waiting for day to break before heading to the hospital, am having contraction but not painful. Am 41wks gone.

I think it's cos they are in one sac. Not sure tho. My first scan @5wks only showed a sac, fetal pole ws nt seen, ws adviced to rescan in 2weeks.

Not necessarily waiting till 12 weeks. The hospital I went to register for ANC told me when to come sha. So since it's not that far again, decided to wait till then at once. N.a. next week na. So I go just manage wait. Tho anxiety to see what's there sha wan kill me

This week should run as fast as it's legs can carry it ooo. Let next week roll in as fast as possible so I can go for my first clinic visit oo. This visit is long awaited. .. so I can do my scan oooo . Any mama in the house resident in Uyo? Any suggestions on where I can do a 3D scan and register for ATC. ..though This next week I intend going to Uniuyo medical centre for a start.

This are not ordinary tears but tears of joy. I never knew God loved me this much and answers my hrt desires. I just found out now that am carrying TWINS . OMG! What did I do to deserve this gifts . After 2 shameful years of TTC God decided to honor me with double. Indeed God is not a robber. I can't stop shedding tears of joy. My mouth can never be shut frm testifying of his goodness.

Pls I need advice oooo. When m I to start ANC as m expecting twins? (Can't believe I jst ssaid twins)... oh God!

Chai....Congratulations once again. Do you think there was any thing you did that would have made the pains manageable for you, maybe something you ate or drank? Please share with a sister. ...my threshold for pain is almost zero.

On Thursday evening (7th), dressed up, went for our church crusade wt dh. As I got down from d car, I felt dis gush like pee on my undies. Was surprised cos I had just peed b4 leaving d house. I told my dh I wanted to use d bathroom. On getting there, saw my undies was soaked smhw, and d kyn pee dat came out was just small. I decided to just put tissue and watch. Went bk to d crusade ground. It then occured to me dat it cld b my water breaking and dripping small small o. I shared my tots wt my dh. I stayed for d rest of d crusade, got home, still experienced little 'gushes' of fluid. I was meant to stop work d next day(8th), wch was also my bday. So I went to work on d 8th, (I had put pad tho, to avoid embarrassment), dh even took me out. All this while, no serious contraction, just this vague waist pain, very minimal. So arnd 5pm on Fri I decided to go to d hsptl. Was examined and it was confirmed dat d fluid was my 'water'. Was admitted and given antibiotics dat nyt(since it was up to 24hrs d 'water' had started dripping). A CTG was done and d result was ok. My dh went bk to d house. Contraction then started in d nyt, off and on. Was waking me intermittently. By early morning, it had quite increased in intensity. I managed to brush and bathe arnd 5am. Had breakfast and Lay down. Contraction by nw was stronger, lasting longer. My dh came bk arnd 8am or so. By then, I was already having d urge to poo. Told him to call d nurses. Cos I wanted tokno ow much I had dilated. because of d liquor I was draining, no v.gina examination had bn done. Wen d Dr finally came to check me, she said I was already fully dilated and shld b moved to d labor rm .Was told to push wt d next contraction.D first push, nothing nothing, d 2nd push na pee I use bathe d midwife(lol), wt d next push , my Prince came out. He weighed 2.8kg. I had told d midwife not to gv me episiotomy, unless it was necessary. And she didn't gv me. My baby tore me a little tho, bt it s nothing compared to d epis I had wt my first baby.
I really thank God for answering my prayers and making it all end in praise. He ll do same for all mamas in this thread and our sister thread(TTC).

Congratulations Sis.....All praise to God. But wait oo, this your birth story sounds painless ooo. No screaming and shouting.? You just became fully dilated at first examination? No long Labour masef... I tap into this blessing ooo!

D one in transparent nylon is d best, n its 4.5k in a pack of 64pieces here in ekpoma...

If not today i never knew that nigeria makes huggies.i do buy the carton own n they are all in d transparent bag inside the carton.

N.a. for supermarket I see am oo. Same red pack just different pictures of babies and it's cheaper than the other 2. I think it was 900naira or so he told me for a pack . It's over cheap price already raised doubts in my mind about it. Not like I don't believe one can get quality things at cheap prices but from the remarks I hear from nursing mother's here, huggies shouldn't be that cheap.

Mummies in the house, please help a sister. Wanted to get huggies diapers for family friends who had their babies. On getting to the supermarket I saw about 3different types. Was so confused....when I asked the sales attendant he said they are made in different countries, one is Turkey, the other one is American and the other Nigerian. Please which one is original? The one he said is American is in a transparent colorless bag kind of and was the most expensive. The other he said is Turkey was written on the pack, made in South Africa. Please which one is the real Huggies oo. Thank you in anticipation of your response.
