Christianity EtcRe: Is Our Lord Jesus Christ Against Tithing? by brocab: 4:42am On Jun 29, 2015
Don't tithe at all-Keep on preaching brother-the world needs to hear you.
dukecharles:
Is our Lord Jesus Christ against Tithing. Jesus was born under the law to fulfill the law (Gal. 4:4-5)… He was bound to it in His life and to rebel against it would be to sin. Also note that the point of these versus when read in context was not to promote tithing, but to promote matters of the heart and show hypocrisy on the parts of the Pharisees. When read aloud and in context no-one will point to tithing and say that is the point, it simply is not the emphasis.

Also note that Jesus refers to the practice of tithing in the past tense… he doesn’t say “you ought to do” but instead says, “you ought to have done”—a past tense command.

Jesus did not say the New Covenant church should have tithed, He said the Pharisees should have… The simple truth is that under the law not everyone was to tithe, only certain people were (levites, farmers, and those who tended herds or flocks), Pharisees among them. If we are to Tithe now, where are the instructions that everyone is to tithe, and not just the same certain individuals that tithed under the previous law?

Finally, Jesus mentions tithing three times (Matt 23:23, Lk 11:42, Lk 18:11- 14) and all three times condemns the tither. Jesus says that the actions of these people were not justified (lk 18:14) why are using them as an example, and the only example, to justify tithing? The truth is, they should never be used as a model for someone who is justified; nor should they be used as a model for tithing. There simply is no justified tithing model in the New Testament.

Many argue “No scripture mentions a substitute program for tithing in the N.T, ergo tithing is still in place” -- I would disagree, the substitute is giving. References for giving are proliferant throughout the New Testament.

There are several fundamental flaws with the belief that Jesus reinstates tithing, but one of the biggest is that there are no instructions for New Testament tithing by Jesus, the Apostles, or the early church. With this in mind we would have to revert to the instructions of Old Testament tithing… this does not look at all like what is taught today, and in fact is far more supportive of giving to the poor, the widow, the stranger, the fatherless, and even ministers as they would probably take the place of the Levite. I do not see how this is much different than the teaching of giving in the first place. Unfortunately tithe teachers do not usually teach tithing or giving to those in need, but only to the church as it is in their best interest.

I do not feel that tithing is part of the New Covenant church, and I am not alone in this mindset as many Theologians are and always were on board with this, as are historians who can trace tithing’s roots to the late 1800’s. It has come to my attention that those who do teach the tithe are usually supported by tithing themselves, and not uninvolved parties with nothing to lose. A careful study of old testament tithing brings about many questions of tithing as practiced today, and a look at New Testament tithing reveals a lack of support for the system as all New Testament versus referring to tithing refer to it under the Law and not as part of the New Covenant.
Give lavishly to promote the gospel, help the poor not by ten percent law but by the prompting of the Holy Spirit. When you do so you are storing for yourself wealth in heaven cf Matt 6 vs 19.
Quit allowing some religious folks put you on a guilty trip that if you don't pay your tithe, that you are robbing God. It is all false., the law of tithing was giving to the Israelites because of levitical priesthood, they tribe of Levi were selected by God, and was given no land or inheritance by Moses hence the law of tithing. Now Christ has changed the priesthood. So the law has been changed cf Hebrew 7 vs 11. Present pastors inherit things with there brothers. Apostle Paul make tent to support himself and the poor.
Giving is good but don't do it as a ritual... If tithing is your personal Covenant with God, go ahead, but don't do it because of fear of calamity.

Why don't you try reading the scriptures yourself, and stop being a judge, it shows you don't understand what these two are writing about-really you are making a dick of yourself.

Maybe you should ask the Lord, and if you are like Uben who claims he is a born again Christian, then I'm sure you wouldn't find it difficult, to pray and ask our Lord to help you with some understanding in finding scriptures to back up your own disbelief, and if you are feeling up to it, maybe allow the Lord to show you the difference between your argument.
We born again Christians learn of each other-but hey if you aren't a born again, we do understand.

italo:
You will have to ask barnabaseloke and Muttleylatt,

They seem to have assumed ownership of the "spirit." They know who has the Spirit and who doesn't. They even know how much of the spirit each person has.

The problem is that that "spirit" tells them contradictory things sometimes.

Read the bible.
btoks:
From the last 2 pages, you see an example of how sola scriptura doesn't work.one person says baptism is important and saves, others say water baptism is obsolete.!How do we know the truth?
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab: 2:56am On Jun 28, 2015
Here's for you Ubenedictus-What is "Born again"? A person who had converted to a personal faith in Christ.
MuttleyLaff:
cc Ubenedictus
What is "born again"?
Why must anyone be born again?
How did this issue of "born again" come about? What was the background, circumstance and reason?
Why did Jesus bring up the "born again" matter?
How many people on record did Jesus teach or preach "born again" to?
Jesus is known to preach and teach to multitudes, is it on record He preached and taught "born again" to any of the multitudes?
What benefit, was mentioned as the objective of being "born again"?
What is the sharp distinction and/or difference between "born again" and "born of water and spirit"?
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab:
Quote>You guy's have attacked my person instead of the topic What are you preferring too, is this another lie, you will deny saying Mr Uben, twisting words that don't exist-show me where in my written argument to you, did we write about water and the Spirit issues?
This will be interesting?
Ubenedictus:
sorry my dear this you epistle doesn't cut it, brocab just called be a liar, along with your own accusation of twisting words.

You guys just attacked my person instead of the topic, so kindly show me my "twisting" and brocab can kindly prove I am a liar.

If anybody is denying what they see its both of you! You have went to great length to try and say "water and spirit" is not water and spirit, you have continued to divert issues by by throwing questions around. Your idea of a "picture" has been rebuted but you prefer to still play around.
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab: 2:14am On Jun 28, 2015
This is easy to prove you are a lair-just by Claiming you are a Catholic worshipper.
Finely claiming to me; you are a born again Christian, and we all know born again Christians don't pray to any other God's/mediators'
Mother of God-Queen of heaven, ring a bell.
1 Timothy 2:5 "For their is One God and one mediator Jesus Christ..

If you were truly a born again Christian, you would know the difference between what is truth, and who too worship.
Isaiah 43:11 "I am the Lord and their is no other saviour but Me.
So you see not even Mary your mediator can save you.

Let me remind you and religious tribe, it's the Holy Spirit who lives and teaches us all things belonging to God.

Matthew 4:10 "Away with you Satan-For it is written, you shall worship the Lord your God and only him you shall serve.
Ubenedictus:
lol,

you have manage to insult me.

Weldone.

You can show everyone where I lie, if you can't shame on you.
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab:
Born again Christians couldn't possibility lie like you, it's only liars such as yourself Uben that can never make any sense when trying to twist words that never existed.
And when did you become a born again' was it at the time of baptism infants into the Catholic Church as you had claimed from the beginning.
So you are surprised, you seem to think God has sole property over my life-well he does-as well as the many millions of born again Christians He has called into His kingdom.
Jesus said one must be born again, not become a Catholic worshipper who join pagan religion and worship Idol's, such as you standing at the feet of Mary's statue, bowing down lighting a candle praying she will pray for you, as your mediator.
Why then is the Lord calling His people to come to Him-If you believe He isn't for even Christians alone' who else beside babies will go into heaven without Him knowing?
THEIRS NO BACK DOOR INTO HEAVEN.
Ubenedictus:
lol brocab,

I am a born again Christian, I am surprised that you seem to think God is you sole property! God is not for you alone! He isn't for even Christians alone.

The is only One God and he is for all and all belongs to him.

If you believe in a God that belong to you alone then you are serving an idol.
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab:
But there is truth. You either walk with it' all you lie about it. Which one are you huh
Jesus said one must be born again, if there is no denomination, then why is the Lord calling for the body' His Church, His personal army to believe in Him.
We are born again Christians, the Church that belongs to God. There's no other church that stands above the Lords Church, one must be born again.
How about you cool
MuttleyLaff:

I hear you brocab, but God is neither Catholic, Protestants etc
There is no denomination in the Kingdom of God
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab: 3:24am On Jun 27, 2015
These Catholic's lie all the time, they are good at twisting words around only because they don't know any truths, all they can't seem to find the truth, that makes any sense. Just remember you are dealing with the unsaved-who believe they were saved in baby baptism.
keep on pushing the word of God into them, Satan never wins.
MuttleyLaff:
Ubenedictus, you know how we got to me making that remark
I didnt abracadabra pluck it out of the air and just blurt out that truth like the manner you're twisting and icorrectly making it out that way
Dont you get tired of this Ubenedictus? You've had a field day of straw-man at my expense

In my next post, lets (i.e. italo, Syncan, you, Ubenedictus and I) put this matter to rest once and for all.
You and italo are going to love it. Syncan upon reading it, as usual might stay aloof
You better go put on a gum shield Ubenedictus, as the glove is coming off now.

I have countlessly said and gave examples,
that baptism is not an exclusive use meaning "water baptism" or only to be associated with "physical water baptism"
Forewarned is forearmed. I am taking no prisoners, so dont say there were no warnings wink
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab:
It doesn't matter how you catholic's try and twist the scriptures around just to suit yourselves, even if it doesn't make any sense, we protestants are trying to work around you. It's not easy grin If you were saved as we are saved' there wouldn't be a war against you Catholic's and us protestants.
But it shows, we have two different view points, about your baby baptism-and the baptism of choice-and you expect us protestants to believe in your stupidity, think again. You have been digging deep to find answers-but you won't find it no-where written in the bible.

Romans 5:12 "Because of one man' all fell into sin, all men will die in that sin, only if they continual to live a life without Christ.
Romans 5:13 {For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

John 3:3 "Jesus said to Nicodemus-telling him one must be born again before he can enter into the kingdom of heaven. Of course the old man didn't understand what Jesus meant' one must become born again, the flesh would say how can a old man be born again, must he enter into his mothers womb a second time-Jesus said "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. "Do not marvel that I said to you one must be born again.'

Proverb 20:11 "Even a child is known by his acts, whether {or not} what he does is pure and right.

This is your chance to decide and follow after Christ and make a decision in your hearts and become a born again believer and be filled with the Holy Spirit to even understand anything belonging to Christ.
Baptism was a decision made by sinners, those same sinners who have chosen to believe in Christ.
Mark 16:16 "Jesus said: if he "believes" and is baptised will be saved, not the other way around. one must be baptised and believe later.
Ubenedictus:
you are on your own

heresy,

bible says, "i am a sinner from the womb"

brocab say, "you are not a sinner from the womb"
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab:
Still you haven't answered what Jesus said in Luke 18:15-16 "but I am not really expecting you to answer it.
Everyone knows the facts, except you-"babies don't sin, and if they did, it will be a fart or two followed by a wee or two on his mother, laughing-giggling while laying there having no cloths on, Other then that, the baby has no-idea what had just happen.

But you haven't answered my question, where does it say in the bible, about infant baptism, is a plus.

Romans 5:12-13 "Therefore sin came into the world through one man, and death as the result of sin, so death spread to all men {no-one was able to stop it all to escape its power} because all men sinned.
{To be sure} sin was in the world before ever the law was given, but sin is not charged to men's account where there is no law {to transgress}.
When you read a verse finish it off, what Jesus is really saying?

Lets try this one>1 Corinthians 15:16-21 "For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ is not raised, and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. Then those who have falling asleep in Christ have perished. Vs 20 "But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep. Vs 21 "For since one man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead.
V's 22 "for as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive. Vs 22
And that's telling me all shall be made alive through making a choice.
Syncan:
Arrogant, insultive, talkative yet very ignorant. Despite given you a precise hint with Rom.5:12, you still can't understand can you, yet had the effontery to come here talking off point.

Wherefore as by one man sin entered into this world, and by sin death; and so death passed upon all men, in whom all have sinned.

Read the above passage until it makes sense to you, however if it is still difficult for you to comprehend, then look at the one below for explanation:

1Cor. 15:22. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive..

Are infants excluded from "all" in the scripture passages above?
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab:
And you were baptised into Mary, as sinners do.
Read you bible. From Psalms 51:5 Ezekiel 18:20 "The soul who sins shall die-The son shall not bear the punishment for his fathers iniquity, nor his father shall bear the punishment for his sons iniquity.
Meaning to say: The son don't take on the responsibility of his father or his mothers sins, but his own.
Kings 4:6 "The fathers shall not be put to death for his son, nor the son shall not be put to death for his father, both have their own sins.

So you see a infant does not have that same sinful nature as his parents, he may have been born into a sinners world, but a infant, as the Lord tells says, infants and little children are such as the kingdom of heaven.

Proving the child is still sinless in actions-without any sensibility to know sin..
So this shows you who have been baptised as a infant, was not baptised for your own remissions of sins, But the parents.
And if that's the case, then no-baby has been baptised into Christ.

Ubenedictus:
read your bible.

Ps 51: 7

True I was born guilty, a sinner even as my mother concieved me

don't you just love the bible?
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab:
So does this mean you too haven't the slightest Idea about the infant story either?
Are you Catholic's to dumb, to even figure out what Luke 18:15-16 had said.
Psalms 51:5 states that we all come into the world as sinners. and in sin my mother conceived me.
Ezekiel 18:20 "The souls who sin shall die-The son not bear the guilt of his father, nor shall the father bear the guilt of the son, the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon Himself.
Which means-we are not accountable for our mothers or fathers sinful nature, but our own.

We may be born into a sinful world, but as infants we haven't any sensibility to know what sin is. And no-parent would expect any infant to take on their sinful burdens. Would you allow your child to take on yours? Being a Catholic I suppose you would.
Allowing your child to be baptised at a early age, and not allowing your child to make their own decisions.

Matthew 18:3 "Jesus said: assuredly I say to you unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 19:4-Luke 18:15-16 "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

I am not expecting you to understand, But Jesus was inferring in scripture, no-one can enter into heaven with sin.
Revelation 21:27 " said: nothing unclean can enter into heaven.
Before Jesus had even laid His hands upon those children He said, let the infants and the little children come to Me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
In other words, infants and children at a certain age are sinless.
Read Ezekiel again The soul who sins shall die. And the SON shall not Bear his fathers sinful nature.

Now go back to your bibles and read it, as Jesus had written It. And still we won't find infant baptism.
Syncan:
Psalm 51:5 states that we all come into the world as sinners: “Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.”. It is left for you to tell yourself the truth if infants have come into the world. Incase you don't know why this is so, then read the below:

Wherefore as by one man sin entered into this world, and by sin death; and so death passed upon all men, in whom all have sinned. Rom.5:12.
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab: 10:43am On Jun 25, 2015
Babies can't sin-and they can't be baptised for the remissions of sins, either.
For all have sinned, those who believe have fallen short of sin.

So when you were born-what was your sin, that your parents had to have you baptised as a child at birth. And who spoke for you, to claim you are saved, and answer the question unto whom are you saved?

Syncan:
You see how deceptive you are? So Rom.3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God is now my own words abi. Carry on.
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab: 10:24am On Jun 25, 2015
So you are making up your own words, very religious. So babies are sinners now, when Jesus entered into the world was He a sinner too. And maybe you haven't got the answers to the above questions, how many babies was their in the jailers and Corniles household.
Romans is more on the fact about those who have sin. Even those who believe have fallen short of the sinful nature.
Syncan:
I take it you have no answer to my questions. Ok, a much simpler one, Rom.3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Does the above scripture exclude infants? I still have quite a number of things to say but I need to see how truthful you are.
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab:
Jesus said: Luke 18:16 let the little children come to me, for they are the kingdom of heaven-Why would Jesus say such a thing before he laid His hands on them, is it because He as a child came into the world sinless, just like every other child who is born sinless.
Could you shed some light on the new born infants and children under the age, that you believe were baptised under the roof of Cornelius and the jailers household.

To make this clear, Since we are both Christians, and to support your theory could you show me in scripture, without guessing' where have you retrieved this Idea, about infant baptism.

So if you were baptised as a child who gave the authority for you to be saved-saved unto whom-you didn't make that decision to be baptised.

And if you believe you belong to Christ, then why do you worship another? {Mother of God-Queen of heaven}
And why do you kiss the feet of the statue of Mary when you enter into the Church?
If you believe in Christ, Him you shall serve and Him only-so why do you call Mary your mediator, when Christ is our mediator.
So you see-if you want people to believe you are saved in Christ, then at least follow, what Christ has written, in word and in truth.
Syncan:
Jesus never said little children are "sinless". He came to die for them too. "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God".

Anyway, Without beating about the bush, do you mind giving me the number of people in Cornelius household, the jailer's household and lydia's household. Please include their various ages and the scripture passage showing that the minors there were excluded.
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab: 3:31pm On Jun 24, 2015
You don't practice it when one is baptised at Child birth, baptised is for the remission of sins. And Children at a certain age as Jesus had said, are sinless. So if you were baptised at birth tell me, how and when did you believe' and what were you baptised into, since you were sinless?
Syncan:
Do you mind telling me where we don't practice it?
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab: 3:24pm On Jun 24, 2015
I like it the way you all preach, on believing first then baptism, but you don't practice it.
Syncan:
I cannot fault you at all. What it means is that at the point of your baptism, the required faith is present, such that when you get baptised all is fulfilled. However a faith that does not lead you to baptism is dead, it is not the faith of the apostles, that faith cannot help you.
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab: 3:08pm On Jun 24, 2015
One must ask>You have used the verse, about Peter saying-repent and be baptised. Did you "all did the other religious believers repent when you were all baptised as infants?
italo:
And here you disagree:

Acts3:38Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab: 10:43am On Jun 24, 2015
If believing is part of baptism, then how did you believe when you were baptised at birth' and how were you baptised for the remissions of sins, when Jesus said In Luke 18:15-16 "Let the infants and the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of God.
Jesus had said: before He laid His hands upon them' He said: these infants and little children at a certain age are sinless.
So how is it' you say believing is part of baptism, when you were sinless to be baptised in the first placehuh

You and the rest of your gang of religion isn't making sense. You have started an argument, about baptism when it's you who don't follow after the scriptures of baptism.
This argument is pointless.
italo:
Believing is part of baptism.

The baptism we are talking about...is it the same one Peter said is for remission of sin in Acts2:38?

Do you also believe Barnabaseloka when he says Peter meant the opposite of what he wrote?

Or did Peter write the correct thing?
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab:
Baptism and the Spirit.
Acts 19:2-6 "Paul said to them did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed huh "And they said to him we have not so much heard of such a Spirit, he then asked them' what then were you baptised? They said unto John the baptist
John the baptist indeed baptised you with a baptism of repentance, but they should believe on Him who came after John' when they heard this they were baptised in the name of Jesus.
And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied

But really what has this to do with you Catholic's anyway, you believe in infant baptism.

John 3:7 does not even mention about baptism-It only mentions how Jesus spoke to Nicodemus telling him one must be born again.
Another favourite device of the Devil is to have men look to their works for their salvation, instead of looking to Christ: Some depend upon lodge membership, some depend on their confessions to a priest; that's a fatal mistake.
The voice of all the scriptures is that people are saved by simple faith in Christ, without an act of righteousness and baptism is never mentioned as part of the plan of salvation.
Baptism is an act of righteousness.

Matthew 3:15 "For it is fitting for us to fulfil all righteousness.
Titus 3:5 "Say that such acts of righteousness does not save us:
Everyone knows one must believe {Saved} before baptism. [/color]

I'm sure the Lord does understand, and He knows your support is keeping your family alive.
That's the true meaning what tithes were used for, back in the old testament tithing was only used to support the poor and the needy.
These day's tithing is no-longer needed-back in the old testament the law was our tutor, and now Christ has risen, we no-longer need that tutor.
You Don't need to follow that old law any-longer-just follow after your own heart, and give.

Your honesty had woken up the dead, and those who follow after the money tithing system, that's not scriptural ' have only risen' because the money word had been said.
Do what the Lord told you to do, when you give follow your own heart.

davido0849:
Pls advice me on this... I prefer giving my tithe to my parents cos they needs it more. Is it wrong? Is it a sin? I can't just imagine giving tithe to the church when my parents needs it more. I seriously hope God understands.

Silly childrend. Your parents failed in bringing u up in the ways that you shd go.
Shouldn't you find out what the Bible says abt tithing? What are the spiritual significance of Tithing?
Do u remember the book of Malachi? The book that really talks abt tithe? Chapter 2:2 says, "IF you'll not hear and will not lay it to heart to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of host, I will even send a curse upon u, and I will curse your blessings, yea, I have cursed you already.
God says "go right, you say you prefer to left. Have you considered why in ur family nothing works except u put ur hands in evil? You r doing business, you must lie, cheat, steal, give and take bribe. Babalawo or fake prophet or prophetess knows abt it? I know you don't know what Covenant wealth is. Where u can genuinely make wealth without the above mentioned.
Check ur family tree. See how difficult things are, its because u have brought a curse upon urselve by not regading the instructions of God.
Did the Bible say give ur Tithes to ur parents? The poor and needy? Did it not say bring it into my house? Keep following this seeds of Satan and walk straight to hell.

And who are the believing Churches, other then the body of Christ huh
sunmarouk:
my dear brothers and sisters, water baptism is more than just a symbol, its part of the requirement to live a christ-like life. Jesus christ having no sin, yet did it, and after which the holy spirit came upon him and the same spirit drove him to the wilderness where he fasted for forty days and night, after which he was tempted by the devil, of which he came out victorious. So if he hadnt done the baptism, his ministry wouldnt hv started, physically, its a symbol, but spiritually, you have been been buried with christ and a new you has emerge. I urge you all to read ur bible, study(study to show thyself approved, a workman that need not to be ashame), and get a believing church where the truth are told, then you wil have an understanding. God bless U

I suppose when we read up on the story when Jesus was crucified with two others, and one of them believed and said to Jesus remember me, and Jesus said: today you will be in paradise with Me.
Baptism is used as an act of righteousness.

There's no sin in heaven, and babies need to be sinless to go into heaven-So any Church who practices infant baptism are baptising babies into nothing.
The scriptures tells us Baptism is for those who have sin.
Jesus said you must believe and be baptised to be saved.
Not baptised and saved later when ever.
Barnabaseloka:
Bro. you hit the nail on the head as regards infants being sinless according to what Jesus said. The word of God never talks about infant baptism anywhere in it.
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab: 5:33am On Jun 22, 2015
Don't you ever listen to the truth about God, and why would you want to save a two year old anyway-he/she is already saved-Jesus said: the kingdom of God is like one of these little children, and again the bible repeats itself-baptism is for the remissions of sins, and a child at a curtain age is sinless.
Quote-just assume a person never hears about Christ.
Matthew 24:14 "And the gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
So you can see Jesus has the handle on this question?
Next question huh
italo:
1. Is Romans 2 correct that Gentiles will be judged by conscience?

Or is it wrong?

2. Jesus will touch them physically and spiritually.

3. Just assume a person never hears about Christ...or a two-year old...that dies can they be saved?
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab:
Acts 2:38 "Peter said: repent and be baptised for the remissions of sin.

So where did the Catholic Church get this information from? Baptising infants, and what is the Churches gain believing in such unscriptural doctrines.
Galatians 4:4 "But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, Born of a woman.
Ezekiel 18:20 "The soul who sins shall die. The son not bear the quilt of his father, nor the father bear the quilt of the son, The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself.
Matthew 18:3 "Jesus said Assuredly I say to you unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 19:14 "Jesus said, Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
When we read this scripture these children weren't even touched by Jesus as yet, and Jesus had already said clearly these children are sinless.

So where did the Church go wrong-it is plain and simple, Satan has plans to take with him' many into Hell.shocked

If you have enough knowledge you could read between the lines and see for yourselves baby baptism isn't written in the bible as such.
And the Lord said: unless we become as little children we will not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
With this scripture alone shows the only way to God is become as little children, which now proves babies to a curtain age are sinless, and the baptism is used for the remissions of sins.

So these babies have been baptised into nothing.

Your teachings differs from majority of Christianity, even your protestant pioneers practice infant baptism.
So on what authority do you base your novel interpretations? And why should I believe brocab's version because that all you've stated, your version.not what has always been taught through antiquity.
Christianity EtcRe: Are We Saved By Faith Or By Water Baptism? by brocab:
No-one is asking you to believe anybody-It's not brocab you don't understand-its the word of God you don't understand.
And my authority comes in the name of Jesus..
I have answered your question above about circumcision-and still you haven't recognised your asking.
So instead of giving me the run around, how about proving you theory and show me in word where the pioneer protestants baptised babies.

A good Christian should be a bereans, one who test all scriptures, studying the word of God-Testing all Spirits.

^^^^ dont satisfy your pastor's greed in the name of supporting church work. A good christian should be able to discern when a pastor is preaching out of greed and out of the spirit concerning giving.
