I agree Max, "you need wisdom to discern what ~~happened~~ is written in the Bible", but I guess some people need to lie to themselves so they can continue to believe what they want to believe but they can't or should not expect everyone to believe their lies.

We read in the Holy Book of Truths that when Adam had lived one hundred thirty (130) years, which was after he was supposedly meant to have died in the Garden of Eden, he became the father of a son in his likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth. Thus all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred thirty (930) years; and he died". Gen 5:3&5

So effectively, at least 800 years after eating the forbidden fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil which was supposed to kill him if he ate, Adam finally died. Isn't it sort of odd for you to claim the eating of the fruit at least 800 years ago killed him? I mean, does that not seem like a very ineffective poison to you or that at least the person who forbade them eating the fruit lied to Adam for some reason?

Instead we read that Adam's eyes opened and he saw that he was naked. And he and his wife stopped being slaves and got their own farm instead of working for the owner of the Garden of Eden whom some think is their God!

If we teach this to the Adams and Eves in the North of Nigeria would alimanjeri not be eliminated through education and they not be freed from the slavery they are kept under?

Is it not the truth that the entire teachings of Christ is "Eat fully of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil so thy days may be as long as Adam's?

I read your post, and the knowledge behind their invention is not kept secret though you might not be aware of it.

Take the three examples I used to illustrate my point. Einstein explained his idea in a book so his peers could evaluate it. His book explains how he came to his conclussion, for anyone who bothers. Bezos and Gates advertise their invention and showed it to those they wished to collaborate with. Gates specifically has a qualification you can study for in order to know his invention and to produce material for it. None of this would have been possible if they had hidden their inventions or kept it secret.

What they did was present me with their invention so that I can evaluate it with my own senses and pay them for the priviledge if I find their invention useful, which I definitely would not do if they had merely presented me with a belief.

How can anyine hold a person in high regard for an invention that is kept secret and hidden? Do you think one could possibly hold Einstein, or Bezos, or Bill Gates in high regard if they had kept their inventions secret? In fact, would anyone have heard of them if they kept their inventions secret? Do tell, do you hold in high regard those who's inventions are secret and hidden and that you never heard of?

But if I say there is a horse in my living room where there is no horse, and you and I should fly it to my village to go and marry the King's son, I'm certain you will tell me I'm hallucinating and crazy and what have I been smoking.

Didn't i tell you earlier that science would term the effects of the drug as seeing things that aren't there (hallucinating)? They think it's just hallucination. Even if you show people certain things, they'll still ask you to prove it mathematically. It means you are seeing things that you think or believe are where nothing is; as in, no one can see it or feel it or weigh it or count it except you, which actually means you can not prove it mathematically or in any way whatsoever, and its not that those who are not hallucinating like you are do not want to be convinced but just that unlike you, our head is correct because we are not under the hallucinating drugs that you are under. In colloquial, we who are not hallucinating with you perhaps because we are smart enough to not do the drugs that fuq up the mind and distort perception will say you are seeing things, which is a indeed a kind way of telling you you are crazy!

I knew the name. I researched the plant. But that was more than 1 year ago so I've forgotten all about it. I wasnt curious enough to want to experience the effect of the herb for myself because the experience of the guy who took it is not something I really want to undergo. He ran mad for some minutes/hours, but that was also the period when he saw the spirit behind the herb and became acquinted with it.

Suicide should be a major concern in any society, especially since the parents and siblings one leaves behind would be unhappy at their loss. If my child kills itself for instance, I do not think I'd be happy with the child for not coming to me with the problem it killed itself for and I'd wonder how bad a parent I must be for not being able to keep my child, whom I must have invested resources feeding, clothing and housing, alive. And as a policy maker, I do not think I'd be doing a good job if my citizens are killing themselves since it highlights my incompetence at creating conditions so they would rather live, which would eventually, likely, make me lose my income and job. I'm certain if I were an elected official and people under my jurisdiction were commiting suicide, you would not reelect me.

And this is why they should seek help instead of making an irrational decision to kill themselves. And as a parent, or a decision maker, I should teach people to be rational, I would think. But if they do decide to kill themselve, I guess I could section them into a mental facility so they can be overseen by professionals who would treat them and hopefully educate them on the irrationality of suicide. After all, the difficult mental and emotional phase that affects their decision making that they may be passing through may be a phase, as you said, which will soon pass away, so why pass away from a phase?
