I've posted on every issue I feel is worth addressing in Islam. Plus, I'm just worn out. It is very exhausting to keep up with the posts - researching, writing, editing, typing and sometimes addressing the responses. Yet, I dragged on like this for several years, I'll post regularly for several months or nearly a year, take a sabbatical, only to return again.

But the final straw, the moment I decided enough was enough was when I resolved there were contradictions between the Qur'an and Science. I've come to the conclusion now that I might have wasted several nights and weekends on "Qur'an Alone" activism, which was my primary motive for posting here in the first place.

Will it be good if majority of Muslims reject hadith for a more modern, rational exegesis of the Qur'an? Sure, but how long will it last? The same faults that plague hadith also plagued the Qur'an admittedly to a lesser extent. So, it will only be a matter of time before these Qur'anists see the faults in Qur'an.

Premised on that is why I am surprised you'd provide an article from a biased, madhouse media outlet like New York Times as evidence.

New York Times, CNN, Bloomberg, Fox News, Washington Post, Forbes and more are all obviously and unrepentantly biased either for the Left or the Right. Mostly junk journalism.

The assumption of a flat earth can be seen in the publication of the FAA titled ;

" the engineering analysis and design of the aircraft dynamic model for the FAA target generation facility".

The FAA publication explains that in other for the software to accurately replicate the behavior of aircraft during flight the software running the TGF assumes a flat earth.

Dr. Atlas is a perfect example of the incestuous relationship between Faux News and this so-called president. What I wonder is how does Rupert Murdoch sleep at night? He is not a stupid man; surely he knows how many people will die if the unproven theory of herd immunity is actually employed in this country. Does he not care that by manipulating a malleable and ill-informed president he has contributed to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent human beings? Does he not care millions more may die?

Politics aside, I cannot understand how all these men, from Trump to Atlas to Hannity/Carlson/Limbaugh/Murdoch live with the knowledge of what their conduct has caused. The person who stuck with me from the DNC was the woman who said,"My father's only pre-existing condition was that he believed Donald Trump." What a tragedy that her father died because of his lies. How many more people must die?

When the reckoning comes due, I believe these liars and deniers must be held responsible for their willful conduct. These are not innocent mistakes and this isn't merely speech. This is negligent homicide.

I don’t know the narrative ure trying to chase here, as I have written nothing against anyone making money from his business. My grouse is with the govt. that is by all intents losing money to moribund refineries intentionally when they can either fix them up easily or privatize them. But they won’t because of the personal wealth they’re making from fuel imports.
