You must have very little knowledge to claim trump is "the greatest president ever liveth". But no, I do not hate trump. I just hate his governing style and more importantly his policies.

MrPresident1:
Buda for eartum aka budaatum, you really hate King Trump so much, the greatest American president ever liveth. Buda for eartum aka budaatum, why do you hate Trump so much na?

Dont forget that this guy is making America great again, and it is because of him that America is still on top today. He is the really a great man

Many of the African nations were spared... is what I will say, and not for what anything they did right.
Can't argue that. Poor unspared SA though.

After struggling to get halfway through the second chapter, I've decided to fool myself that I'm still reading by going back to the beginning again especially after kkins with his deep insight made me feel I been reading a different book!

I found I had to check the meaning of phenomenology again, and a search of my searches show I've looked it up 12 times, 8 of which have been since I began this book. And to think I've avoided Edmund Husserl to date!

Remember that was where we started with this. And you forgot to mention an almost non-existent healthcare system in the case of Nigeria... Na God save many of these countries... no be wisdom of their actions at all.
I started more generally than with Nigeria, perhaps that's where our wires crossed. Only in ones wildest dreams can Nigeria be said to have handled Corona wisely, though saying that, we kind of have wisely handled whatever of it we got, at least going by our rather low 'recorded' deaths of less than 1000, which is very low for a nation of our population.

I happen to know from comparing actual responses that the New Zealand government in fact seemed to have handled better than the US did. So, I can attribute their low number of cases to their handling of the problem.
However, I do not have evidence of Nigeria's response being any better than that of the U.S enough to claim that indeed Nigeria handled it better, hence the lower death rates in Nigeria compared to that in the US.

Again, I stress that the information/fact available in both cases is key to reaching a reasonable conclusion.
I don't think Nigeria's handling caused better rates, but if someone says God saved Nigeria I would not argue much despite the £ now post ₦600 and demand rising.

I think Nigeria benefitted from low infection as a result of not being a travel destination like New York, low spread due to isolation and clustering which has resulted in high mortality amongst the so called elite with little rural spread, and bad counting at the very least.

Basically, we been lucky.

Again, you cannot simply say that because Canada has a lower death toll means Canada indeed handled this more wisely than the US government did. There needs to be more indicators to measure this and so far, every country is still working to understand the situation. Maybe a year or two from now, we can sit and harsh out the details and point out what worked, how and what definitely did not.
Forget what the media and politicians are doing here in America right now. We all know this is election year and mud-slinging is a tradition to be expected.
Has New Zealand handled Corona more wisely than US government did?

Christianity Etc › Re: Answering OFFPOINT On His Question As To Why Christ Jesus Is A Perfect Sacrifice by budaatum: 7:44pm On Aug 18, 2020
Dtruthspeaker:
We can not know more about Him beyond what we have read or have been told of Him, for He is Not Man, even though He Looked like a Man.

But, when He Reveals Himself to You, you would know more than what is written or said of Him.
Those familiar with my attitude to work might understand the point of, the lazy sit waiting for revelations. You will kindly speak the truth of yourself please. "You", can not know!

Christ became flesh, not so you may know Christ, but so you may know God, so if one can not "know more about Him beyond what we have read or have been told of Him" despite His flesh becoming and living amongst us so that we may through Him know God better, it follows that one can not know God whom much less is written about. Such shall be known as, they that worship the God they know not.

"Seek", said Christ. "And greater things than I did will you do with your immense understanding which I shall send the Holy Spirit to direct"!

Dtruthspeaker:
That is Another Major Difference Between Him and us, He Clearly Knew Right from Wrong, Good from Bad or evil. And He supported All that was Good, which is not popular among the children of men while he was against all the Bads and wrongs and wickedness and evil, which is very popular among men.
People around me when I was young used to sing, "I want to be like Jesus, so gentle meek and mild", but were the most ungentle and ferocious people I'd ever seen. I used to wonder if they read the Book, because, when I read it, I found lots more about Jesus I might rather be singing I'd like to be like, like, poor in spirit so that I can learn; a peacemaker (after all, my many squabbling siblings), merciful, loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle, and most of all self-controlled. Everytime I heard that hymn sung, I filled in, which, unfortunately, didn't make for a nice tidy hymn, but I'd consciously decided to eliminate the major difference between I and Christ by "Clearly Knew Right from Wrong, Good from Bad or evil" and becoming an atheist to what was "popular among the children of men" by "supported All that is Good".

Dtruthspeaker:
So naturally, He shall be different from the population.
We gloat not. A new Spirit kindles. Amen.

Dtruthspeaker:
And you got it Right only to finish wrongfully at the bolded! The secret is Children know that they do not know, hence they learn.
Those children often grow into adults who think what they've learnt is all there is to know. If only they'd keep their childlike unknowingness much longer and keep learning.

Dtruthspeaker:
When a man uses his head as you said, he has to pray that he is right whereas if he had learnt from Christ, he would be certain that he is right, for there is no stumbling or fall when you walk in the Accurate Teachings of Christ.
Remember I said, "You"? Some are conscious of Christ in them.

Christ is precisely about using one's head, and is a result of storing up the wealth of understanding gained from learning about Christ so one can know that which is good and "walk in the Accurate Teachings of Christ" without stumbling or falling when the "moth and rust doth corrupt, and thieves break through and steal" one's understanding.

This lesson is taught in the Temptation on the Mountain where quote a verse satan thinks he can outsmart read the whole book Jesus. The equivalent today is between the believers and the 'understanders, and is a repeat of the incessant light versus the dark battle.

Christ joked not when he said, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect".

Dtruthspeaker:
I have answered offpoint but I do know that Understanding Is Given By The Lord, so therefore without it, he shall have great difficulty in comprehending my answer, for if he did, he would either have a question that flows from my answer or if he is noble, he shall express his enlightenment or stay silent.
"Understanding Is Given By The Lord" only to those who seek understanding of the Lord. Those who pray first for understanding stand firm in Christ.

Dtruthspeaker:
Further, i do not think I Insulted anyone I just think that they took offence when none was given.
I have the very most strongest inclination to agree with you.

They have an inhouse echo chamber creator that dishes out t talking points like on mailboxes, Postal Service, peaceful BLM protesters, systemic racism, immigrant children in cages, family separation, hands up dont shoot, russia collusion, etc

The qualifying word is to Fear Correcly and Accurately and at the Right Time.

Also to know Fear is the Difference Between the Choice of Living and of Dying!

He who does not mind dying, fails to fear at the correct time
Those who fear know not and are at the beginning of learning. You may read here about those who fear and their reasons for fearing. And here about a person who needed to fear the Lord but didn't. As you can see, they are lessons taught very near the Beginning. In primary one.

Fear no evil! Especially that which can only break the body and not the soul. The Rod and the Staff of the Lord God Almighty Comforts and should be rejoiced in!
