Maximus69:No one says you should not be OK with your spiritual family. See the wonder and amazing God. My neighbour, remember the JW? Came to ask at 13:50 immediately after my last post, if I could accept a delivery for him because he needs to go out. He neither asked me to become a JW first, nor did I make his conversion a condition of my desire to assist him, and by 13:53 he was out. At 13:58 the delivery man knocked on my door and asked that I accept a delivery for my neighbour the JW who was not in, which I duly signed for. You may not see it as so, but he begged, only because he loves, and I assisted only because I love too, and our Father in Heaven is hopefully glorified by both of our lovings. |
Maximus69:Please know that if what I am saying is understood by you as above, I am either sowing bad seeds or you are just bad soil and I would leave it to God to be our judge. |
Maximus69:You know very well that buda sees no merit in emulating demons and trembling, and that understanding is far more superior to merely believing. Jesus taught this exact lesson in the very misunderstood saying of his where he said you should abandon your stupid ignorant misconceived beliefs and become as an innocent child so you can look at things anew and gain understanding and enter the Kingdom of God (not JW, nor any congregation of humans, note). Every Gospel that narrates an argument or discourse of Jesus also teaches this not recognised fact by many, whereby the Pharisees and Sadducces and learned of the Word were pitting their belief against Jesus' much more superior understanding. It is even the lesson of the Temptation of Christ where the tempter was quoting Scripture as beliefs with the hope that Jesus lacked understanding and we all know how that ended for the tempter, and the benefit we today derive from Jesus' victory. I used to assist in a Church that taught English as a Foreign Language to refugees and immigrants who were mainly Muslims from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Some in the Church thought our duty was to convert Muslimd from Islam to Christians, while some of us saw the actual English that we taught them as Christ. One of my students was Ramota from Pakistan. She had lived with her mother-in-law for 9 years, her duty being the care of said mil that kept her locked indoors and at the beck and call of said mil while her husband and children were in Pakistan. She was full of pain and sorrow and remained very quiet, though learned fast becoming fluent in English in less that two years. One day, Ramota who had never come to Church on Sunday asked me if she could address the congregation in Church, so I asked the Vicar and he allowed her. The following Sunday, Ramota stood in front of an Anglican congregation and the first words out of Ramota's mouth were bi-smi llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīmi, to the utter consternation and chagrin of the entire congregation who did not know it simply meant, "In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful." Ramota then told her story of how she had been married to her husband from age 15 and was brought to UK to care for her mil whom her husband visited annually. On his visits, he would get her pregnant and a year later would take her child back to Pakistan so she barely saw nor knew her 4 sons, while her mil constantly threatened to have her arrested for being in UK. Ramota said, she had seen a flier we had stuck to a busstop and begun coming to learn English in the only two hours she had for herself by hiding the fact that it was in a Church, and that learning had empowered her to fight for her liberty. She then called up four boys to join her and said, "here are my four boys that you have enabled me to get from Pakistan to join me in UK", and with tears in her eyes, Ramota said, "Jesus is indeed Lord". If we had ignorantly placed our stupid beliefs and self glorification above giving her the love that Jesus had commanded we give to Ramota, I doubt I'd have this story to tell you. One does not have to become a member of ones organisation before one assists others, nor should it be a condition of receiving or offering assistance or Jesus would not have said, "Give me a drink" to the pagan Samaritan woman. And neither should one think offering assistance to beggars simply means, giving beggars money, nor does money replace the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ. |
Image123:I disagree. I think you mean they will never admit they are wrong to you. And to be honest, if you truly worship Christ, you should not expect them to admit they are wrong to you because you are not God, and should only be saying what you say to the Glory of God the Father in Heaven and not the glory of wrongness being admitted to you. If you speak God's Words, those who hear will be convicted in their heart, for it is as is written, some words fall along the path for the birds to eat up; and some words fall on rocky places which has not much soil and spring up quickly because the soil was shallow and be scorched by the sun and will wither because they had no root. Other seed will fall among thorns, which will grow up and choked the plants. And still other seed will fall on good soil, where it will produce a crop--a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. One's own duty is to choose good seeds. Those who have ears will hear. |
Hopefully, this will make you look beyond Yasir Qadhi and what you were taught and what you taught, and reeducate yourself, because there is more to Allah and the Quran than what you have been taught and what you taught which you are now discovering was indoctrination and falsehood. بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
Maximus69:You, are mixing it up. You fail to define your "Satan the Devil" nor state how it is the "enemy holding people behind from seeing the LOVE". But more importantly, you likely will not see that what you are saying above is, “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship my organisation”. And you assume one is not aware that the proper response is "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only'". So let me help you instead. When I steal or murder or disobey God, the devil the satan made me not love. It did not come from outside to make me not love and disobey God, but dwelt inside me "crouching at the door of my entire being; constantly desiring to have me" and watching for opportunities to make me sin, and to say that the devil called satan is not a part of me if not me myself and I, is like abrogating the sin that I am responsible for to some external being. The fallacy of my disobedience and the error of blaming the devil called satan instead of taking responsibility for my sinning will of course become apparent when God the Judge of the living and the dead does not throw the devil called satan into hell for my sinning and disobedience and not loving my neighbours and enemies, but throws me myself and I into the hottest part of hell. And when I am burning in hell would I likely say, "Let me go and warn the living so that they will not also come to this place of torment". Only to be told, "If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if you, buda, rise from the dead and go to tell them.“ There is a reason the Good Lord said I should beware of the forest in my own eye's, Max. My lack of awareness of the huge forest in my own eyes would very likely make me think I see the twigs in my neighbour's eyes when in truth I am totally completely blind to the need to oust the spirit of satan the devil from my own heart so it cannot come back into me. The real enemy you call Satan the Devil is indeed not humans with flesh and blood only because I fail to see how it becomes flesh and blood by overtaking my own flesh and blood and making use of it to become the enemy that is me myself and I holding me myself and I back first from seeing the LOVE, which I then come on here and propagate as if the devil called satan is some being external to my own and I am not responsible for taming my ignorance with the help of Jesus Christ my Messiah. Ignorance is this devil called satan that makes one think there is more profit in disobedience to God than loving one's neighbours and enemies. And the cure is indeed Jesus Christ the Logos through which all things are created. If one understands and imbibes this Jesus Christ into one's life as opposed to merely believing what one does not understand nor aim to understand or is misled to misunderstand, the devil called satan rejoices, because, as is its nature, it crouches at the door of one's entire being desiring to have one. But, that I must rule over it, with the aid of Christ my Messiah, shows how responsible I actually am for what I might stupidly irresponsibly ignorantly blame on the devil called satan that dwells inside of me. Once I realise the error of my understanding and become as a child and become reborn in Christ can I say, "get thee behind me, satan the devil", and watch satan the devil depart from me. Then can my "light so shine before all my fellow humans, both neighbours and enemies, that they may all see my good works and glorify my Father which is in heaven", instead of ignorantly glorifying myself or the organisation I belong to and blaming satan the devil to whom I give my own flesh and blood for my own ignorance and lack of understanding and evil doing, which I am very very responsible for. There is One God, Max. And God alone shall one worship and serve. And elevating anyone or anything or any organisation above God and bowing down to it in worship and serving, is idolatry, and the endowment of one's own flesh and blood on satan the devil. |
Dtruthspeaker:Now we know who this Foolish Stupid People is we must understand. www.nairaland.com/attachments/10799612_notable00631_jpeg09f84e6d8ba9b391d46ef6abbf20665c |
salford1:Was talking to my cousin yesterday. He told me Nigeria has National Health Insurance (that's not right name), and I was impressed. Nigerians who diss Nigeria should remind themselves that they, their parents, their parents' parents, their parents' parents' parents ad infinitum are responsible for the state Nigeria is in, and checking out to another country does not in anyway reduce this responsibility that you will be handling down to your children and their children, and your children's children's children ad infinitum. |
fieryy:You believe right. It would depend on definitions of course, which we have not done, but if a mog can be a murderer, then it is indeed possible for a spiritualist to be selfish. |

Bluebyrd:Bluebryd, if you can not read or understand what I write, please ask questions instead of making up lies in your head. It just makes you sound unintelligent. The current rioting is a result of something, in Chicago, specifically the killing of a 15 or 20 year old by ignorant people who have not bothered to find out the circumstances of the shooting. If they had jobs or something to lose they'd likely not be rioting and looting, nor would they be blaming social injustice for their own stupidity. To be honest, I think they are like you who believe conspiracy theories instead of checking their facts, and for you to claim they are all liberals is just plain ignorance. As for Bible burning, do know that there are some Americans who don't regard it like you do and would burn it because they know the smoke would irritate your nose. |
Lesgupnigeria:Absentee farmer is like myself stuck away from my farm for 4 years. Only in my dreams should I expect to reap any crop from my farm, is what I think. |
SonofLincoln:It can't possibly have been condemned by all Chicagoans unless those being violent and looting today are imported in. That said, the current uprising is no way to handle things, but frustrated ill-educated people, whom I pressume are the majority looting, can not expected to behave intelligently. We had similar riots here some years ago, and to ensure such uprisings do not happen again, the underlying social problems were addressed and continue to be addressed. People who are not content will riot, is what I think. |
Bluebyrd:I'm sure you only began looking when people rose up against the injustice they been suffering for decades. |
Bluebyrd:Did we not put this fake news nonsense to bed already or are you just one of those who believe because trump said it?
|
Bluebyrd:No, I do not think the "violence, high crime and murder rate in Chicago is as a result of Chicagoans rising up". I think Chicagoans are rising up because of the the violence, high crime and murder rate in Chicago, which is as a result of the inequality in Chicago. If Chicagoans were satisfied with their state and condition I doubt they would have anything to rise up against because contented peiple generally tend to have no reason to rise up. An example of what I mean is the uprising in Lebanon. If they were content and happy with their government they too would not rise up. |
Lesgupnigeria:Sounds like you are saying, do not be an absentee farmer, which is very good advice. |
sexylassie2:Thanks for this. Its amazing that you can post actual news. Its not reported much in UK for fear we'd be energised and rise up too, though we really do not have the same issues that make Chicagoans rise up, but we could in solidarity, I suppose. |
IamaNigerianGuy:"My people" being Nigerians, right, or am I to assume you are not one of us or you just fail to accept responsibility because you slept through the last two elections? I do not accept that my bubu represents a great tragedy. He is precisely the leader that we Nigerians deserve until we abandon the sort of ignorant stupidity you display here and chose our leaders much more wisely. |
OtemAtum:Not all Christians, my Otem, and they definitely do not get that stupidity from a proper understanding of the Bible either, but from their own misunderstanding of what they read and mostly what they are told by those whom they pay their tithes to. |
Arrewa:Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending how one sees it, you are absolutely correct. If I was Fulani, I'd be laughing sadly at the other Nigerians' ignorance and stupidity. Intelligent people would ask themselves why and how the Fulani that they believe are "primitive vicious killers notorious across west africa for blood thirstiness" can possibly be ruling their nation Nigeria. It says more about the stupidity of Nigerians than anything about Fulanis. |
sexylassie2:Your editor at New York Times would very definitely require that you have facts for what you write and if you have none you'd end up writing your unfounded conspiracies for the Daily Buzz Live or InfoWars and rightly be known as a Potemkin journalist.

Maximus69:Your enemy may come into your house and eat your food but still refuse to worship your God with you, and Jesus would probably tell you that even after your enemy has eaten your food and slapped you, prepare more food for your enemy to eat and slap again and again seventy times seven times!
|
sexylassie2:A logical person who sees anything at all would deal with facts instead of making up theories that satisfy how they think things are! Just imagine what would happen if it were found out that the blast in Lebanon was planned, though I bet you'd claim the Lebanon blast planners were so competent that no one except you and your so called "every student of political science" could possibly find out the truth. |
salford1:But, in reality, if your old skills become redundant, the smart and wise will reskill, as insensitive as it may sound. Perhaps a solution would be the introduction of a G.I. Joe Bill for civilians as Roosevelt had proposed. Another solution is a reduction in re-study fees.
|
IamaNigerianGuy:I do not believe you are intelligent enough to recognise thrash even if it jumped on your face and ripped your eyes out. Anyone with a brain knows not all Fulanis can possibly be "primitive vicious killers notorious across west africa for blood thirstiness" because last time I checked one of them was sitting on Aso Rock ruling the whole of Nigeria and unless you really want to admit how stupidly ignorant you are you'd have to wonder what all other Nigerians were thinking to have let him sit there. |
Maximus69:What you are advocating is not Christianity, but Jwanity! Which is okay so long as you don't make out it is what Christ taught, because Christ never said, make your enemies family before you love them. Christ said love your enemies despite them being your enemy, as you can clearly read for yourself. Christianity without philanthropy is like salt that has lost his savour. See below what we are told to do with it.
|
krisjnr007:Yes, I do blame me, and you, and I am very real! We Nigerians voted and we Nigerians counted our votes, and if our vote was not properly cast and counted perhaps we should hold ourselves accountable and accept that we were incompetent and learn to do better next time instead of making out like Martians voted in Nigeria and Martians counted the vote and all the people who died was not because we were incompetent and irresponsible and could not vote or count our own votes! The beauty of democracy is we get to have another go everywhere 4 years during which we can improve on our previous incompetence and lack of accountable for the conditions we find ourselves in. |
Maximus69:I am sure there are beggars amongst your neighbours and there are definitely beggars amongst your enemies.
|
Maximus69:Please go read the Parable of the Orangutan. You will see it was a pagan non-worshipping God Samaritan that Christ asked you to emulate and not the Priest and the Levite who obviously had regard for God which they allowed to get in their way of actually having regard for God!
|
chubinwa:Let me go and tell the owners of Nairaland to give you permission to start your own thread to "turn your search light to the murderous Fulanis taking refuge in some of the deserts in Nigeria" so you can be let to "discuss the quality of weapons they are wielding" and your yeye not smell. |
