I thank the Lord God Almighty for creating me a fool and teaching me to worship God and not an arrogant fuq like you.

Is Hisbar operating currently or not? Why hasn't the FG stopped their activities? So, their illegality is determined by the people and not the government?
Who says they are illegal? Do you get to dictate what's legal for everyone?

Perhaps we need to educate you that democracy means government by the people for the people by the constitution, The constitution says it is illegal for states to arm militia, and Hisbah is not an armed militia but the equivalent of OPC, which also has not been "stopped".

The problem is that when a godly person mix too much with white people, if he's no careful, he'll start justifying SIN as normal.
White people have seen the errors of justifying their bigotry and prejudices with "God said" when the truth is they themselves wrote what they want God to say, a realisation which went on to empower them to write better 'Bibles'.

In one of their new one's, it is declared that it is against the law to discriminate against anyone because of age, gender reassignment, being married or in a civil partnership, being pregnant or on maternity leave, disability, race including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.

They are basically saying "go and remove the judgemental forest in your own eyes that stops you loving your neighbours instead of concerning yourself with the twig you don't love in your neighbours eyes". And going by current happenings, many of us are dying in the desert and in the sea to get to the heaven that they seem to have created for themselves. I guess we need to wait for them to bring us the newest testament as they brought us our current 'God said', but while you wait, you may read a summary of their new Bible here, or the entire book here.

We too shall evolve, one day.

C'mon buda, me dey vex on a faceless forum? Haba!
No be everybody dey carry emotions for here o.
You do surprise me with what seems like your emotions sometimes. Some of your posts lately drip of it in fact while at the same time being designed to provoke emotions, which they do in me as I shake my head in sorrow at what seems like an inabillity to converse intelligently and with maturity. Then I remind myself that we are all maturing here and I become amused.

I doubt you and I have ever discussed intelligently, and look forward to the day when emotions would not get in your way.

Mrbownjay was seeing this from an egalitarian point of view. He ain't anti-woman/anti-man like you and budaatum.
You need to find a cure for that obnoxious disease you caught off Jnr of going about misslabelling people.

buda is not anti-woman/anti-man, Michel. As I've repeatedly said, buda is anti-pig except when bacon and sausages is concerned!

And on that note, I'm off shopping, I'm starving!

It's a yoruba word.

I'm not sure of the dot under the last "e", but I'm very sure there are dots under the first two "e"s.

It's a yoruba word.
What does it mean? How, when is it used? I'm not familiar with it.

The second means vigourously, as in the Americans will shake vigorously in the coming cold.

Pls kindly help me translate this word from yoruba to English:

pepepe.

There are dots at the bottom of each of the "e"s.
I don't think pẹpẹpẹ is a Yoruba word.

Does it mean "give MondayUche money because his manna falls from heaven"?

Sounds like the 'moral police' who'd tell one off if one walked around with tits out except their tits out is not wearing a hijab.

Is that what Amotekun would do, the amotekun who want to armed?

So you "lasted a week and ran back to the warmth of my family and Abakaliki" where you can laze in the sun and eat free food!

My mama would have called you lazy fuq and sent you right back! She was a nurse and lifted mattresses and the patients on them to wipe bums so she'd hardly sympathise with you.

My worst job was at 14 years old working at my uncle's saw mill during school holidays and a year after secondary school. The mill ran on a rail and would trapped your fingers crushing them between the trunk and the rail or the saw would break and come flying at you as you were lifting planks.

His 5 sons, aged 5 to 12 at the time, worked there too and we still joke "so mu?" Meaning, 'did the tree or rail catch you', as we show one another our caught crushed fingers.

And can your dumb head explain why Hisbar is still operating till today?
This Hisbah thst "operates under the jurisdiction of a Hisbah Board composed of government officials, secular police officers, and religious leaders, and is highly decentralized with local units supervised by committees composed of officials and citizens in the communities in which they operate."?

Obviously because the citizens in the communities in which they operate have not yet decided to vote in people who would help them eradicate it if they no more want it.

Go and use your supposedly non-dumb head to see how those same people react to boko haram.

I will say the aim is to groom kids from a tender age not to hate people based on their sexual orientation. Many homophobes bully /discriminate homosexuals,I will teach my kids to respect and love people despite their sexual orientation. I will teach them there is nothing wrong in two consensual adults harmlessly enjoying a relationship .
I've shipped books to schools in Nigeria. I get them from schools in UK and give them to schools in Naija, and I can't claim a book like this one wouldn't have been amongst them. You might say I 'should check, make sure it isn't', but we talking container full of books. No way can I check them all when I'm giving them away for no money!

I do agree with you Mich. Its intention is to teach their own children to be tolerant of different sexual orientations, but it does seem Naija parents haven't learnt tolerance, so we'd hardly be teaching tolerance to our children when tolerance sounds like join in and do it with them, to us.

Increase your child's school fees people, or at least set up a Parent's Library Fund in your child's school so you can fund the books you want your child to read. Someone else will if you don't, and it just might be this.
