There is something wrong with you. Two things, actually. One being you envy your friends, but the greater thing is your sense of entitlement in thinking you "deserve those things too at your work rate".

Surely, if your "work rate" was sufficient to provide you with "those things you deserve", you'd have them. But you don't have them so there is definitely something wrong with your "work rate", and the something that is wrong is your wrong thinking, which is obvious from your first problem which is you envy your friends. Funny though how you only envy their achievements and not how smarter than you they actually are in achieving what you work hard for but fail to achieve.

You see when they say "unless God build the house, the builders build in vain", they do not exactly mean God will come down from heaven and build the house for you, but that you yourself will build the house through the knowledge and wisdom and understanding that you have worked smartly to acquire. It's like fertiliser see. You may work hard tilling your soil but the smart fertilize their soil too and their harvest is therefore bigger than your's who only worked hard.

So, no, you are not a bad person, though envy and having a sense of entitlement will do you no good. You just think and reason wrong is all.

When you apply some intelligence to your working, things are bound to improve for you. But I'd strongly advise you ditch the envy. Those who watch the horse riding of other's ride their own horse into the ditch you've now found yourself in.

In an interview, Donald Pettit —a NASA astronaut— mentioned that he’d go the moon, but they no longer have the technology to do that. All the technology from the Apollo mission has been destroyed, and it is a painful process to build it back again.

Don Pettit used the word ‘technology’ to refer to meaning #2, not #1. NASA no longer has the rockets, factory, equipment, etc. from the original Apollo missions because they are no longer necessary. But we still have all the necessary knowledge & know how to go to the Moon. In fact, many of the current space exploration missions have various similarities to the original Apollo missions.

Note how he says "we used to", and "going back", as in going a second time.

I would not offer any of this as evidence for God though, because to start with, evidence is image making and God don't like images. Second, God is a Spirit that no one has seen so why should the blind see God? Third, even Jesus never bothered with evidence of God so why should ordinary humans feel the need to go drag God from up in the heavens and present God to unworthy humans who say God does not exist? If they were worthy of seeing God, surely, God would come to them Godself and say to them, "Here I Am"! And fourth, "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth", and not in a science lab!

You read it again from the Lord's mouth who you should fear. You can see that we cannot be on our way to heaven if we do not feel the danger of hell. Until the Holy Spirit convinces and convicts us of our sin we cannot be drawn to accepting Jesus as our Lord and Saviour. So the message is, fear God and you will have no one else to fear.

It's a good one actually, just that you are far too blind to see.

The message is, "you that are going to be cast into hell, fear the Lord so that you may live". While those who have already accepted Jesus Christ shall surely not die but live eternally and so have nothing to fear.

You can tell by the fruits degbu. Those who have an abundance of fear inside their own hearts will preach a gospel of fear with their words and mouth. While those who's heart are filled with the Love of the Lord Jesus Christ will utter fruits accordingly.

Now, go and read through your posts degbu and come tell us what is abundantly inside your heart.

There are those who have discarded Paul's epistles as a result of this issue, but if you accept them as Scripture, then I don't think there is any question what the Bible says in this regard:

It just pains me that people like degbu lead people astray with his own misunderstanding. He will not enter and will not let those who would, except in his own case, he thinks he is inside when the truth is that he is outside asking those inside to come outside to join him and cower in fear! It is such as him of whom it is said "gambled for his clothes by throwing dice".

Still, rejoice Max, that degbu exists. For without one in the dark as he, we would have no one to love! May his eyes open so that he too might see that those who have seen the light and the glory of the one and only Son who came from the Father are so full of grace and truth that they most definitely fear not because no darkness can overcome those the Lord shepherds.

We shall continue to ask the Father to forgive degbu for he does not know what he is doing.

I kind of think that according to "one of him" women must humble themselves and learn only from "one of him". For though he believes God gives gifts, how dare any women be worthy of gifts that are greater than all of his!

Personally, I think he just refuses to learn from "one like her". But I suppose I should humble myself and let "one of him" explain one of himself!
