Maynman: You can believe whatever you want Bud, lack of knowledge creates beliefs. Indeed it does. And yes, I lack knowledge about you, so I'm believing what I do about you based on the limited knowledge I have about you pending more information about you when I'll know more about you. As for myths. Only the ignorant believe them. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Eve, The Philosopher. by budaatum: 1:38pm On Jul 28, 2023 |
Maynman: Finally, adam and eve has become like the Elohim covering their unclothedness too. We are talking meaning, Mayn. And the belief is not about the myth (since you've already shown by this thread that it's about understanding of the myth), but about my belief pertaining to you. Was it Elohim who created in his own image in Genesis 1? Was that Elohim naked, such that those it created in its image were naked like Adam and Eve were? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Eve, The Philosopher. by budaatum: 11:51am On Jul 28, 2023 |
Maynman: They were separated in genesis 2. Just as you've found the true value of Eve, so do I believe you would someday find that Adam and Eve were not created in any God's image to "be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground", but naked ignorant slaves who were put in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it but not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die". The psychological implications are huge, as it gives no option as to which one must be and forces one to assume to be descended from the later created naked slave Adam as opposed to the former powerful God's image, or at least ask how the powerful Image became a naked ignorant slave. |

Still the allegations and plea bargains have nothing to do with Burisma, China, Romania or Bribery, and certainly has nothing to do with Joe Biden. Wsj

MentalCase98: That gentleman’s agreement that the US had for centuries of granting unofficial immunity to ex-presidents for the sake of peace. I happen to think that going as far as dump went on Jan 6 broke a very important gentleman's agreement and showed dump isn't a gentleman, which we already knew since gentlemen don't grab cats. Besides, we wouldn't want the "gentleman’s agreement that the US had for centuries of granting unofficial immunity to ex-presidents for the sake of peace" to be used as a get out of jail free card by the likes of dump, so we must unimmunise him. As Teddy Roosevelt famously said, “No man [should be] above the law and no man [should be] below it; nor do we ask any man’s permission when we ask him to obey it.” To categorically say otherwise is to undermine the foundation of American democracy.

wirinet: They wanted to investigate, question and charge Hunter Biden, but they were impeded. Who were the they? Don't they have names? Why is the Republican led house not investigating the officers that impeded the wheel of justice? Why not invite Jeff Sessions and Bill Barr who were the Attorney Generals at the time? Why not invite the FBI and DOJ officials directly involved in impeding the investigations. Why moan and cry from one whistleblower to another? 100 whistleblowers will not achieve anything other that rile up MAGAs.
I still ask, where is the crime? Wiring money to 100 Bidens is not a crime. If the Republican led house have concrete evidence of money laundering and tax evasion, they are aware that they can forward their evidence to relevant departments and then subpoena them if they fail to act. If the have actual evidence of Bribery against Joe Biden, why are they keeping them hidden from the public and relevant authorities. Afterall the Bribery was supposed to have taken place more than 8 years ago even before the Trump administration.
You guys are just repeating Benghazi and Hillary Emails. Years of legislative investigations without even a hint of indictment. All you guys after is just noise and wailing until after the elections. They make so much noise to ensure they're not heard. |

wirinet: The lies and conspiracies are to energize the MAGA Movement and their white extremist supporters, while at the same time discouraging weak democrats and independents from voting for Biden, just enough to win the electoral votes (not necessarily the popular votes). This was that strategy that won against Hillary Clinton in 2016. Crime is a virtue among MAGA and republicans in general, the more Trump's crime is exposed and indicted the more they idolise him. See how they idolise George Santos and Marjorie Taylor Green. But in the democratic party, crimes and indictments will make you lose support. Hillary lost because millions of democrats did not turn up to vote and not because Trump was able to convince Democrats and independents to vote for him. This is the reason the Republican party has gone overboard with Burisma and Hunter Biden. The Republican lead house will not carry out any legislative duty until the next election outside Hunter Biden. Burisma, Ukraine, Hunter Biden's person life will be the principal legislative agenda of the Republicans. They will now attempt to use whatever crimes they can conjure to paint Joe Biden. Most would hopefully not allow themselves to be deceived again. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/apr/13/james-comey-book-hillary-clinton-email-investigation |

Business › Re: CBN Raises Interest Rate To 18.75% by budaatum: 8:11pm On Jul 25, 2023 |
OkayDaddy: Designed to mop up excess naira in circulation. The idea behind raising interest rates is to slow economic activity, but not by too much. When rates increase, meaning it becomes more expensive to borrow money, consumers react by refraining from making large purchases and reducing spending. The idea is that in today’s high inflationary environment, this decrease in consumer demand can help bring skyrocketing prices back down to “normal.”
On the other hand however, with increases in unemployment and continuous high inflation, there is the risk of sending the economy into a recession; it’s a delicate dance. Producers react too, and borrow less and invest less and thereby create fewer jobs which will send the economy into a recession or and an uprising where the dance wouldn't be delicate at all. |

Also, your rheotic is the same kind of bs I hear from some black Americans online about how "all Africans hate black Americans, dont want to associate with them, and call us Akata's thats equivalent of the n-word" while there is some ignorant morons in every group that simply is not true so stop generalizing entire people, thats is how hate starts.
Lol, it has nothing to do with cops "looking at black Americans" badly its the fact cops harrass black Americans moreso than other groups as examples I already gave above, you can literally go take a look at the FBI statistics and findings if you want. I highly doubt they would want respect from a bunch of uneducated and conservatives bigots that constantly deny racism exists. Are you the same kind of type that would say BLM was were all violent based on a few pictures despite 93% being peaceful and only 7% being violent located in just 4 cities?
Did you miss out the part that Jim Crow was enacted not long after slavery for another 91 years until 1966 with both the passing of Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act? Last time they tried building businesses and shit for themselves during segregation like Black Wall Street and Rosewood etc, jealous whites gunned them down, burnt down their businesses, looted their money causing a massive loss of generational wealth over a lie. Lets not forget when Reagan flooded black and brown communities with drugs or how about when The Philadelphia Police Department bombed an entire block in a Black community in the 1980s? In 3844 pages, you got to trust that many have tried to drum history in to him and you just might be the one who succeeds. |

They are attemptting to up the voting age to 21 since most of their base is made up of old baby boomers and 5 million new young voters will be eligible to vote in 2024.
Plus the demographic shift that doesn't favor the Republicans. Your history knowledge, from what I've read of you so far, makes you more knowledgeable about American politics than some here.
