Maynman:One would think you'd recognise when a tactic you use to derail a thread is being used to derail your thread. Maynman:This is illogical. The statement "a “creator” that created everything", implies the existence of a "creator" that created something, since a creator that is "non existing" can not have created anything that exists. Perhaps the creator created itself first, though I can't yet figure how it would or could. |
Anyone who expects our elected leaders to vote to have their breakfast lunch and supper and some not paid for by Nigeria needs their head examined. https://www.nairaland.com/7797046/senators-get-holiday-bonus-despite#124996125 |
Did he names his son Cheater? If not he should have, to complete his stupid revenge that is likely to bite him back some day. |
eeetuk:And that's why you've tied yourself up in a narrative that supports your conclusion. Hopefully, your readers would be more objective and not be swayed by your own racist outlook. |
MentalCase98:That must be why Instagram tells you what you must believe so you elect presidents in your dreams. |
worksmart:Yes it is. It simply means the screeners are riggers. worksmart:You the people voting do your own screening. So if you are not happy with your current screening, just screen better next time. |
Nigeria is very good for some. |
The President and Governors are screened. You the people screen them before electing them, unless you want to claim you blindly casted your vote. |
festacman:I'm very certain you intentionally left out "shoot him". |
Population of South Africa 59.39 million (2021) Population of Nigeria 213.4 million (2021) Someone please work out energy per person in both countries. https://www.worlddata.info/africa/south-africa/energy-consumption.php https://www.worlddata.info/africa/nigeria/energy-consumption.php

RichDad25:A few Nigerians, you mean. And I guess you expect the majority of Nigerians would accept your military intervention after electing Tinubu? I am Obidient. We lost. Tinubu won. Deal with it!

OLAADEGBU:One man can produce enough sperm in one ejaculation to impregnate lots of women so so many of you would not be needed. And we are already working on sperm cell multiplication so one man would suffice for many more. We can even remove certain male traits too, like piggishness, andrewtateism, redpillism and the likes, that might eventually make some of you more desirable to be kept as pets. But that's far into the future. For now, farm work would still need to be done so I guess we can use you for labour. |
Throwback:Do you have any facts to support this or should we just take your word for it? |
Shows you men are surplus to requirements. We can farm you for your sperm like is done with horses.
|
Nbote:It can't be "all noise" since there would be an accounting record somewhere to confirm or deny it. More investigation required, is what I see here. |
Scrap electricity subsidy! Though not yet, since we are not yet settled with fuel subsidy removal. But soon. Then scrap that labour subsidy called NYSC! |
azraeljaheel:Na, not really. I've always found "broke" to be relative, and have at times been so broke that I drank a litre of water before my 001 eba so I would be full. Then a colleague came crying he was broker than I was so I decided from that day on to share my litre of water and 001 eba with him. I have however been so desolate that 30 valium tablets jumped down my throat once. It was the day of my last O'Level in which I expected to do well in 4 subjects, but efforts to register for Nov-Dec to make up the shortfall had ended with a walk from Oshodi to Ketu and a night in jail, and no uni for buda meant no escape from the hell buda lived in. Still, buda was just exhausted, Ketu-Obanikoro-Ketu not being a non-tiring walk 3 days a week. buda wanted to sleep, and the the valium jumped off the shelf of the chemist shop in which buda lived and into the hand of buda which put them inside the mouth of buda who swallowed them. Then buda got up, after still not sleeping, and went for a walk and passed out and was rushed to Ikeja General where the stomach of buda was pumped out. Guess that was the day I learnt to not let my own hands be the death of me. As for wrong roads. Nothing ties one to any road. If you don't like the journey you're on, choose a new destination and go there instead. |
He got home, laid his hands on the machines, they started working. He ran to the herbalist, laid his hands on his wife, she got well.If someone on NL claimed to have done the above, we'd likely ask them to let us invest in a wife fixing machine mending company whereby the person goes about laying hands on wives and machines for a fee. We'd start with the refineries and Ajaokuta and eventually develop an app. |
helinues:Nigeria must not go and fight anyone in Niger, with that I agree. |
The very porous 1,608 kilometres (999 miles) Niger–Nigeria border. “Besides, about seven northern states who share border with Niger Republic namely Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina, Zamfara, Jigawa, Yobe and Borno will be negatively affected.

Invelene01:Writing, in the time of "Egyptian civilization" was a temple activity, done by the gods, on stone, and was carefully kept hidden from the peasants who were required for the labour of writing it. The Egyptians guided writing so well that even they forgot how to read their own writings, lol, and sadly. If only they had shared instead of keeping Adam enslaved in the Garden of Slavery. Irony is, millions read books brought to us by those they enslaved. Egypt, in its Egyptian Civilization days, did not have valuable paper to waste. They wrote on stone and had no need to colonise anyone past building their pyramids, which was very far indeed, considering. Invelene01:You are romanticising the "core of Hellenistic culture" which wasn't one core culture but rival islands with diverse cultures constantly waging wars against each other, and yiu think what Plato and Aristotle proposed was what prevailed. Democracy in its earliest form was not as ideal as you seem to think. It evolved into being from constant wars, and your "western powers bastardised" is just more evolution. Invelene01:I call that control The Garden Of Eden Syndrome. Until we evolve to conquer the fear of death and eat of the fruits of knowledge to realise if we shall surely die or not like China has done we shall remain ignorant naked slaves in gardens. That said. China was way more culturally advanced than Africa was when Hellen arrived on their shores, so perhaps it's unfair to compare, but learn. |
MentalCase98:I don't care whatever you say mental. I hardly ever read you in fact so you can't bully me. And I'm not your victim. It's your juvenility you see. That which makes you make up crap to believe then presume to be saying anything worth listening to. Or do you seriously think your opinion about anything is worth listening to having heard you make up crap about buda? You are mental indeed, but more mental is to engage you knowing how quickly you go potty mouth. |
MentalCase98:It didn't help you much it seems. You might not be a "radical liberal lunatic" but you do rant and ramble a lot of lunatic nonsense on a public forum and I expect just more in response. Those you mentioned, after all, were bullys who lacked the ability for intelligent discourse and bred in their own likeness. Pity is, they crowned dump. Irrelevant otherwise.

But why did Africa miss out on the later agricultural revolution, military revolution, hellenistic influence, renaissance, and the industrial revolution? The only thing Africa missed out on was writing, which made us not leave historical records of our vast achievements in antiquity. The lack of the written record slowed down our progress a lot as the past got so easily forgotten. Why these ancient civilizations failed to propagate their cultures and technologies across Africa could be the toughest questions to ask, was it due to Africa’s climate and natural condition or was antiquity seafaring not good enough to circumvent the gulf of Guinea, .......Ancient African civilisations saw "society" as different clans and families, so apart from needing slaves for labour there really wasn't the need for Yoruba's, for example, to colonise the Igbos by propagation. Besides, our fertile lands ensured an abundance of food and tradables, so peace and hard work paid much better than warfare. Basically, we were not the greedy pigs those you seem to refer to as "Hellenistic" were. We had to live in peace with our close neighbours who likely evolved from our cousins, and that is why we must develop our own thought, and are. Below is how "Hellenistics" carve. Beware! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Century_of_humiliation https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unequal_treaty

MentalCase98:Those you follow explain your rabbit holeness. I just wonder why they led you. What was their gain?
|
sukkot:One thing I dislike here on NL is unconscious dishonesty. I dislike it because the unconscious dishonest is too lazy to be conscious of their own dishonesty and is not easily made conscious of it. What I dislike more is the conscious dishonest. I dislike them more because they are conscious of their own dishonesty but think everyone else is too unconscious and can lazily be taken for fools. Either explains why you sukkot, would hope we would not be aware how you struggled to come up with the convoluted nonsensical meaningless "will intensify and start" that you hoped to deceive us with instead of considering what it might say of you. sukkot:In your mind, Africa that China has been wooing with money for decades would now pivot to Putin and the West that has immunised you from outside with their language will now just fall. I guess it might be possible if they are military and do coups in their many African countries and most Africans are pleased to learn Russian but I think we Giants of Africa that have June 12 as Democracy Day can't so easily be removed from equations. |
basilico:This, and everything else. We shall watch the facts on telly and judge if we are hurt. It's what makes this interesting.
