Pence was rather an opportunist on January 6, his boss stayed months attacking integrity of elections and he said nothing then used to his role on certification day to make himself look good, not like he had powers to do otherwise
Him saying nothing could be a sign of maturity. He had to be loyal and behind drumpthf.

I guess that's why he's unsuitable. He was disloyal to the United States of America till the very end.

Sorry to butt in and yes this might/might not be an isolated case, but in a situation where a wife chooses for six whole month not to be in the mood or enjoy conjugal bliss with her said partner, what can we advice the husband seeing as he's been patient, faithful, loving and at varied times sat her down to inquire what may have gone wrong because she was never one to deny him those privileges?
Depends. And you're welcome.

Imagine you are my darling loving respecting husband who has "been patient, faithful, loving and at varied times sat her down to inquire what may have gone wrong because she was never one to deny him those privileges".

Might I perhaps then this one time be mad, tired, menopausal, depressed, have a brain tumour, cancer, be dying, ignorant, spiritually possessed, village peopled, pregnant, holy inspirited, breast feeding, etc?

Below is a lesson in self control for those who can't be more patient, faithful, loving and respectful and caring etc.

Now, ask if she always denies him please.

That’s a good and beautiful approach by your mum. That’s what most good mums would have done.

No mum would have loved their wards to be destroyed by destructive habits they engaged in themselves.
No parent would want their wards to personally experiment destructive acts in a bid to have first hand experiences for growth.

They would rather you had learnt from other People’s experiences and then considered wise children.
And that is why my own parents fed me books, Nothing. Books about Egyptian Gods, Greek Gods, Roman Gods, Nordic Gods, Arabian Gods, Bible Gods, British Gods Yoruba Gods, for of course they'd want me to understand my culture, and etc Gods.

So would you be happy to come back home and learn your young children had been experimenting with sex and abortions as they tried to confirm whether there are consequences and then learn?

Would you be okay if your children start smoking meth and meth to learn the consequences and grow?

Is it okay if your children experiment with rapes, incest and other moral issues the society frowns at ( I am sure you don’t even care about what the society thinks too. Is that right? Lol).

You children will smash your best phone screens to be able to see how it works and learn.

Is this okay for you?
Are you assuming I would not teach them to use their own brains at all?

I was taught about smoking by my mum who took me to work to show me patients ill from smoking. She also gave me information about sex so I know to keep my Arrow closed to pigs.

I think I might have ended up as a lot of ignorant people here do who see to have been just told lies about those things you mention, but we'd never quite agree how empowered I am, I guess.

No. That wasn’t what happened.
You may have had a fine Physics or chemistry teacher. But the science lessons learnt then in SS1 were not “questioned” by students the way we are critically probing now.
See you stating your belief about what you obviously know nothing about!

My science lessons in Form One, as opposed to your SS1, where precisely to teach me to use my God given senses to question critically, as opposed to, fill one with facts as you seem to think. 'Who what, why, where, when and how', was on the curricula of all subjects, and even religious studies, where, despite being a Baptist school, we covered the Quran too.

We were made to read Charles Dicken's 'Hard Times', that ridicules the sort of education you received in your SS1 so we don't end up as ignorant Adams

’‘Now, what I want is, facts. Teach these boys and girls nothing but facts. facts alone are wanted in life. Plant nothing else, and root out everything else. You can only form the minds of reasoning animals upon facts: nothing else will ever be of any service to them. This is the principle on which I bring up my own children, and this is the principle on which I bring up these children. Stick to facts, sir!'

Leverage is the least of concerns when setting interest rates. Most retail traders aren't even concerned about overnight fees when using leverage. How will someone trading at 100x leverage concern himself with whether overnight fee is at 6% APR or 10% APR grin grin grin. - for a trade they will only stay in for a couple of days and pay like 0.01% in Overnight fees. It's like you haven't hit the wild streets of Reddit/Robinhood/Etoro recently. Young boys are going YOLO.
They'll be concerned if the market goes against their position and they get a call, is the point here. But we'll see if and when it plays out someday.

When you picked up your first Physics and chemistry books to study in SS1, you went there with an open mind and had already believed that what you were ABOUT to read were true based on what your teachers said, what you heard elsewhere. You didn’t pick those physics and chemistry texts to glean through so you could believe later, say after studying them for like 10 years. You just joined the classes and flowed with the classes and believed everything taught you.
I happen to have had a wonderful teacher who never asked me to believe what was written in physics and chemistry books. Everything I was taught was demonstrated in a lab so I can demonstrate and see it for myself just as Eve did.

That's science, see. It teaches you to question everything as you see me doing here, instead of merely believing and trembling in fearful ignorance.

No. That illustration isn’t in sync with what we are discussing.

Is it possible for your children to still learn, advance and excel in school and at home without breaking your TV screens, spoil your phone, get electrocuted and engage in other harmful actions at home? Yes it’s possible.

Learning and advancing as God had already blessed them and commanded them to do in Genesis 1 is not a mutually exclusive event with obedience to God.
Thus, Adam and Eve needed not to disobey God to realize their potential same way your children do not need to engage in self-destructive activities to learn and grow.
I hope my children disobey me if I deprive them of fruits of knowledge. I'd in fact be a very stupid parent if I lie to them in order to keep them enslaved to me, and I'm glad I'm intelligent enough to allow them to ask and seek and knock with their own hearts and souls and minds. That is the reason I pay their school fees afterall, so they be empowered.

I don't get how the fed are encouraging leverage? Using leverage is an individual choice, and you have to use leverage when trading commodities or forex anyway due to their low volatility.
By keeping interest rates low, leverage is encouraged. One can buy shares without leverage. And yes, it is a choice.

You'd see its effect more in house prices.

It is my own opinion that a black juror might likely have voted guilty, especially if its one the prosecutor got on there.

The threat Rittenhouse faced qualifies as potentially "extremely injurious and harmful". If he hadn't protected himself he'd have been lynched.

One might ask why he was there with a gun in the first place, but that would be questioning his Second Amendment Right I'm afraid, which, in the United States of America, is a no go.

I got to say I admire the defence. They made sure he was judged by his 'peers' by keeping blacks off the jury. One black person and this would have been a mistrial if the black person were strong enough, though the judge might have been able to accept a majority decision. He could have in UK at least.

AOC is not running for Office and will never run for office. Any popularity she has is the popularity Trump has been giving her since 2016. The choice is not between Trump and AOC or any Twitter noisemakers.

Here in UK, we've always had crazy politicians in the Labour Party who are straight up communists (George Galloway, Tony Benn etc). The day a Conservative leader leaves the leader of the Labour party to start creating a war of words with these communists is the day British Democracy dies.

Face your opponent man to man. Stop talking and amplifying irrelevant stuff. This is emotional manipulation and a form of dishonesty in politics.

Even today, we have a couple of MPs that support BLM in Labour Party (see Dawn Butler below). Boris Johnson could have been reckless like Trump and start hammering on Dawn Butler to appeal to people's emotions. Instead he's totally ignored her. She is not his opposition and it would be disingenuous for him to shift the political atmosphere toward what is not really representative of the Labour party to appeal to emotionally infantile electorate by gaslighting and dog whistling. The Democratic members of Congress is around 300 people, and the squad is only 5 or 6. How are they the face of the party?

This is why we like our media regulations here in UK where you cannot have blatant partizan news or talk outlets like in USA where divisions are being sown every day.

Entertaining piece.

I appreciate the fact that these are your personal subjective thoughts on what the Christians should be doing.
It is not. We believe the Bible completely as the word of God and will obey the commands of God in the Bible. We have questions just like any human has but have learnt from experience that some answers might come now while some we will never know at this side of the divide until we meet our savior Jesus Christ when he will come to judge the quick and the dead.

That’s what we believe.
That’s what you believe. Thankfully, many Christians are choosing to ask and knock and seek with their own heart and soul and mind.

Nothingserious:
Religious beliefs are different from scientific methods where subjective humans try to apply empirical data to describe the nature around them in the way they think they understand. The scientific understanding changes as the natural conditions change. However eternal truths from the Bible are eternal and unchangeable.
Religious beliefs are indeed very different from scientific methods. One chooses to believe the subjective opinion they read in a book while others would rather use their own God given hearts and souls and minds to see how the Genesis 3 God evolved from a petty slave owner into a loving freeing eye opening Christ.

Nothingserious:
We aren’t discussing good and bad science or good and bad religion or good and bad philosophy. Those exist. After all all professions are drawn from frail humans.

The human elements of subjectivity in sciences have been established.
Humans are subjective by nature. You should laugh at my ignorance if I claim to be objective. I can try of course, but do not believe I can completely remove my subjective self that attempts to be objective.

That's why there's the scientific method. No science develops subjectively. If it could, the Comforter would be sent to an objective few instead of to the entire subjective human race.

Nothingserious:
I don’t understand what anti-science verses mean if you claim science is seek, knock and find. Isn’t everyone seeking and knocking and finding in the universe?
Everyone is not "seeking and knocking and finding in the universe". Many merely believe, and thereby tremble.

Nothingserious:
There is a big difference in disobeying God ( moral failure) in eating a forbidden fruit and in taking a big leap to dominate the earth by trial and error or efforts.
First, it wouldn't be disobeying God, but disobeying what some wrote in a book and claimed God said. I am a scientist so expect me to ask and knock and seek with the senses I have been given.

Second, if a God places buda naked in a Garden of Eden and tells buda not to eat the fruits of knowledge, buda will ask why not.

"Is it so I can remain an ignorant slave in your garden, God, instead of 'Be fertile and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and all the living things that move on the earth'" ?

I guess I can recognise the difference between a poxy tiny garden, and the earth I am supposed to subdue.

Go see how almanjeris are created. It might help you understand my very subjective understanding, as opposed to believing what some claim is objective.

Nothingserious:
I wouldn’t know whether you advocate for disobedience to God in a bid to explore. That’s what led to Adam and Eve’s sin. God already commanded them to dominate. They could have achieved domination of their natural habitat without eating the fruit.
As I said, disobedience to what some have written in a book. And note how you say, "bid to explore" instead of "ask and seek and knock" that we have been using all along. Are you trying to avoid the obvious contradiction between the Garden of Eden God, and Christ of the Gospels, I wonder.

No God tells buda to work in a poxy garden after being told to rule over the entire universe! And if I do not surely die on the day I decide to seek knowledge, the God who lied to me can not be buda's God because I just can't do the wuruwuru to convince myself that people who went on to live another 800 or so years died on the day that they ate what they were told would kill them.

Please know that I am in no way attempting to force my subjective understanding on you, as you have accused me of doing. I fully recognise that you have your own subjective understanding too, and I would not want you to burn in hell with buda if that is buda's reward for what you call "disobedience to God".
